FYI, apparently the US FDA recently approved such a test. I don't know if you need a Rx to buy it. It is for "home" use. The cost is about $40.00, or so. I read about it maybe 2 weeks ago. I don't remember about the validity time window.

I measured 2 inches (5 cm) this sunday afternoon on Pattayatai.

Sorry I missed the party. I RSVP'd, but failed to see the details...

I'm glad I'm not the US President.... and you should be, too.
Yes, intended...

The OP has learned a valuable lesson that only cost 50,000TB. Good value...

My wife was in the massage business in central Thailand and she claims that all Thai do tip. Most shops that cater to the Thai charge 150 - 200 for a one or two hour standard Thai massage. Generally that fee is split 50/50. Thai will usually tip 20 baht per hour; sometimes more. No tip is considered rude.
If a farong/tourist did not tip for an at least half-way decent massage, it would be just wrong.
Personally I tip 50 to 100 baht depending on the quality of the work.
I just don't understand cheap charlies. I guess I'm flawed.

In Pattayatai on 11 Sept., 2011, I measured 10.2 inches (26 cm) of rain in about 12 hours. Low areas flooded.

I'm proud of President Obama and proud of the Americans who reelected him. Yeah, he's way cool.

I still do not accept burritos containing rice as being Mexican food. But, apparently, JT, you know Mexicans who disagree with me. I have not polled Mexicans about burritos containing rice - and I admire your integrity - so I differ to your judgement. Let them eat rice! (If it is white, greasy rice.)

I wouldn't begin to know how to cook a koi. I've heard that they are bony and their flavor depends on what they have been fed. But hey, if they are free...!!! Why not?

I don't know what you mean by "reasonable pricing", but they are certainly not for the frugal freddie types unless you attend their special promotions...and then they are of marginal "great" value, IMHO. Products are mostly okay and some very okay. Great staff! I want them to succeed.

The good deed was the attempt to eliminate harmful bacteria from the water in question.

Does anyone know of where to get Thai avocados in Pattaya?
-
It's a good question, actually.

The "P&F" pharmacies are sometimes cheaper than Facinos. They are adjacent to BigCs in Pattaya as well as opposite food court in Central Beach.

No matter what the circumstances were, Jarle was a good hearted man. Yes, sometimes he drank too much and, yes, he had been known to occasionally become belligerent...
However, he valued fairness and strove to live a just and honest life. And Jarle was kind to the very best of his ability. Jarle expected to die in Thailand (under different circumstances) and he intended to secure his companion/girlfriend's future as best he could . I doubt he did anything to help this very lovely woman survive without him. I hope I'm wrong.
Jarle's life and specially his business "adventures" and challenges are the stuff that would make a good novel. Or at the very least a blistering expose regarding some very nasty "business" going on around here.
Anyway, Jarle was very, very Jarle.
RIP, Jarle...

The southern American nick-name is "Buba."
Jarle lived in Pattaya five plus years and was no stranger to the ways of bars.
