Thank you all so much for your opinions and views on the Philippines. I am still going yo visit for the experience but I think I will completely miss Manila and fly into Clark and take it from there.

Or fly South to the Britana Island area.....since there are over 7,100 islands to choose from, missing Manila would be in your best interest....IMHO...??

I am going to have to say this is the best burger I have ever had in Thailand. All amerian restaurant 2nd and pastrami on rye I would give 3rd. I'v not been to a hooters back in the states since moving over here 15 years ago but the wings tasted the same as I remember. I got the spicy which is not really spicy at all but they were excellent, The spicy wings at NY pizza are great also and much cheaper as that family is from of up state NY so they know buffalo wings. Cheese burger 490b wings 410b sales tax and 10% service added to bill.

The Hostest told me they have 7 female Russian staff working there.

Well, I might be an old timer (14+ years), and I don not drink 10 bottles of piss a day, but I can tell you Pattaya is in a stage of change and not for the better.....not by a long stretch.....over built, over hyped, over the hill....even the ladies are over it for the most part.....but I am adaptable and will survive with Plan B always in my hip pocket.....my best advice?? Always have an out, no matter where you call home....???

Well, I go about twice a year and will be heading back to the PI in a few weeks.....it is what you make of it....if you stay clear of Manila....I head out to Sabang and Puerto Glara....quiet spot, no hassles, easy going life style, never any problems, good break from the shitbags and goings on in Pattaya.....IMHO....YMMV....lol..????

I am appalled by the bloodlust of some contributors on this forum! This guy was a suspect, i.e. not convicted! He deserved a trial! Secondly, where were the Prison Officers while this was going on. Surely they must be implicated or at least negligent in their duties. Would all of you who applaud such barbarity be happy if the Koh Tao two were given the same treatment! I think not.
