I assume that my Zyxel one port wifi from True is on the G side of things?

Looks like I need to go check out prices and see just how much more expensive it's going to be to get a N wireless setup going as well, a worthwhile investment long term by the sounds of it but slightly annoying.

Any recommendations for a decently priced N router? I suppose I could just start by getting the D-Link DWA-140 adapter and if it's not good enough with the Zyxel then get a new router at a later date.

What if I just ran a cable from the PC to the box I presume that would work fine? Or I could just get an external drive to start off on as an alternative to streaming from the computer.

Ah well plenty of decisions to make..

Excuse my ignorance but was is the difference between a G and a N router?

I don't mind if I can't watch the HD stuff as my telly is just an old 30" Panasonic so I'm sticking to DVD-R stuff for the foreseeable future.

I have all of the DVDs and the schedules etc.

The tough equipment to find is a pull-up bar think everything else is stuff you can find in Bangkok - some dumbbells and a yoga mat is all you really need.

The lack of a pull up bar killed me from doing it though and my doors in the house have no frame to hang a bar from so I gave up on it.

Really great program though but if your serious about committing to you make sure you can sort out the pull up bar first.

Wondering if anyone has any good recommendations for a nice big shiny printer that will do scanning and copying as well?

I am sick and tired of messing around with the printer in work and wasting time at the copier across the other side of school would prefer to just get my stuff done at home.

I have heard that Brother are the most reliable brand for the external ink tank style.

Any ideas chaps?

If the printer can hack A3 as well that would be even better.

Crazily enough it has just started working for me.

I used TCP optimizer which someone on an EA forum mentioned and restored to Windows default settings.

Rebooted and tried it and it worked, been trying it on and off for the past 8 months nice to finally get it working.

Active Firewall also needs to be turned OFF for anyone else trying this as well.

I spent a rather large amount of time last night trying to open ports through this router so I can connect to other players in FIFA 11 easier.

So I called True this evening to ask for some advice about it. The kind lady told me that because it is a 1 port router that I can not open any ports and that I would need to purchase another router.

I had presumed the "1 port" was referring to the amount of computers that can connect through the router and not the ports on my computer.

Anyone any advice on this, I have followed this video to a tee but still no luck

I think they will turn you down, but you can always try. They will not give you an extension unless you have proof of onward travel (ticket out of the country)

It will be easier to get a non-B from abroad. Like Joe said, apply for the WP before you leave to get the visa.

Is a word permit application now a requirement for Vientaine I was under the impression the usual school papers, the MOE letter, a letter from school and teachers license would do the trick. For proof of onward travel would a bus ticket be enough?

I received a Tourist Visa at the end of November in Laos for two months, I extended this in Bngkok last month and its valid until the 25th of February.

If I go to immigration tomorrow can I extend this for a further ten days so my visa will be valid until the 7th of March?

My plan is to extend again tomorrow and then on the same day apply to change my visa to a Non-B as I will then be within the 21 days and I have all of the required paperwork.

So on March 12 I finally managed to get myself a Non B visa in the belief that I was going to stay with my school a long time and they would get me a work permit but I ended up leaving the school at the start of May and now work somewhere different. My 3 month single entry visa expires on Monday 9th June could somebody please advise me on how I can extend this or if that is even possible? Can I extend this for a further 3 months or just 30 days? What paperwork do I need to supply for applying for an extension? If I extend it for 30 days is it possible to apply for a new 30 day visa in Bangkok or will I have to leave the country again?

In September and October 2007 I received three visa exempt 30 day stamps in my passport and used a total of 27 days out of the 90.

In November 10th 2007 I arrived into Thailand on a 60day Tourist Visa which I then extended for another 30 days on January 2. My visa expires tomorrow February 7th and I am wondering if it is possible for me to receive a further 30 day visa exempt stamp if I go to Cambodia tomorrow?
