Good morning ProAuto,
I want to replace the front shocks on my Nissan NV Wingroad (2001) Y10.
Can you get the parts, and if you can please give me an estimate for the work.
Thank you very much.

I asked because the NV is a 2001 model and aftermarket items are not readily available. I was interested to hear from somebody who had actually found some, not general advise about changing in pairs etc..

Looking to replace a front shock absorber on my Nissan NV Wingroad (Y10).
Apart from Nissan (expensive) anyone know where I might find one?
Thanks,
Dave

Went to do my 90 Day report at the Airport Office this morning at 10:00.
Parking lot was full so had to park across the road in what looks like a convention center, plenty of room there but 20 baht to park.
Inside the office a heaving mass of humanity, no ticket number board that I could see.
No tickets for 90 days (maybe they had all been handed out already), just mill around and try and catch the old guy's (Happy Harry) attention on the 90 Day/ Re-Entry desk. Intern later told me he doesn't speak English, ideal man for the job!!
Went to see an intern on the center of the main desk.
She quickly checked the paperwork and gave it to the old guy who didn't appear to check anything other than the date before entering some data into the computer and giving me back my passport and next reporting date slip.
Left by 11:00.
A lot easier than Promenada and no need to arrive at dawn break.

I bought a MEX from Home Pro about 18 months ago.
When I had a problem with it I rang the service center who are based in Chiang Mai and they came out to the house and fixed it on site at no cost.
The problem was not the unit but a circuit overload due to running too many things (A/C, washing machine etc) at the same time.
I was very impressed!

They have to vote where they are registered as living, not where they were born.
If Issan workers register as living in BKK then that is where they vote.

Thanks very much to all who have contributed to this thread.
I had originally thought that when Nakornping hospital in CM decided after a closer inspection of the restriction that my wife would be better off on medication rather than a stent that they were simply trying to save money.
From the input above I now realise that this is probably not the case, ignorance is a terrible asset!!

Thanks for the information "Leaf Burner".

Hi all,
Does anybody have any advice about the best hospital to have a stent fitted in Chiang Mai please.
Also likely cost.
Thank you.

The meter stopped "dead" on a reading of 9000 suggesting a mechanical fault in the meter.
Wife phoned the PEA at Ban Tawai.
Cannot report fault by phone, have to go into the office.
Go into PEA office and get the run around.
Wife tells them "I have reported the fault" and I am not going to sit around any longer, up to you.
5 days later no sign of anybody doing anything about the meter, but enjoying my super cooled house for the time being.

I have used LANGUAGE CORNER on 5 or 6 occasions and found them efficient and reasonably priced.
