Yup ^^^, that's pretty much us too, our main living space isn't enclosed so no A/C just fans, lots of fans. A/C in the bedroom at night to take the edge off, set to 28C the A/C just about makes it!

The "cold" water from the tank is almost too warm for a shower and the pool is like a bath.

Yes Crossy, I second that, 28ºC same here at night. Water tank shower still OK as for now.

Yes , I did my order from PipingRock about 9 months ago using the Lazada shopping site . Took about 10 days to arrive up here in Issan .

from Lazada? That must have been expensive. I just ordered straight from PipingRock. They sent with DHL, so I'm expecting to pay additional taxes and charges.

  3. In October 2020 we bought via Lazada a 55" smart TV of the xxx brand. It came with a 3 year warranty. Early February this year it broke down. Only a few stripes left. We contacted xxx in Bangkok and were told that they have a contact company in Surin, about 75 km from our home. We had sent pictures of what the TV showed and they said, they wiill have to repair it in Bangkok. The contact company in Surin would come and pick it up at our home and send it for repair to Bangkok.

On February 11th the TV was picked up at our home and we were told that the TV would be sent via Kerry Express to Bangkok the following day. When we contacted xxx in Bangkok via Email we were informed by a certain Khun T. that the TV had arrived at their premises on February 16th and that he had asked his superiors to exchange our TV for a new one. That approval apparently has not been realised. We have contacted Khun T., many, many times, but he has stopped sending us any news.

We are completely flabbergasted by the behaviour of xxx Thailand. We don't know what to do. Is there anyone who could lead us in a good direction? We still have 8 months of warranty, now 7 left with more tan one month lost and the company has not repaired or exchanged our TV.

So be forwarned if you are in a similar situation.

    7. You will not post defamatory or libelous comments. Defamation is the issuance of a statement about another person or business which causes that person or business to suffer harm or loss. A statement does not have to be false to be defamatory. Libel is when the defamatory statement is published either as a drawing, picture, painting, motion picture, film, or letters made visible by any means or by broadcasting, dissemination or propagation by any other means. Defamation is both a civil and criminal charge in Thailand and elsewhere in ASEAN.

OK, this is in line with what three cardiologists in two countries have told me.  I think they were close to believing that statins should be put into the drinking water.  At the time, I thought they'd simply enjoyed too many expensive vacations from the pharma companies.  But, Hubby and I continue to dutifully take our statins.

I must admit, I tried Niacin first, endured the hot flashes side effects and found it didn't do much good.  Fortunately, it was during a Michigan winter, so the hot flashes were welcome.

I just watched a video on youtube from Dr. Eric Berg entitled "The #1 Best Remedy to Prevent a Heart Attck for $3.19. Here is the link >> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R0kS26BA5BY. I would like to try niacin. I read that if you also take Aspirin every day it would reduce flushing.

Are there any other members who have experience with niacin 500 mg?

My January bill just arrived, and the FT (Fuel Tax) rate is 1.5492 per unit, an increase of approximately 66% from the previous rate of 0.9343. Overall my bill is up about 13% from last month; an average of 6.11 Bht/Kwh compared to 5.42 Bht/Kwh previously, we use on average around 750Kwh per month.

We use about 650 Kw  per month. We are the ones who pay for the poorer people who pay absolutelynothing, although they do consume electricity.. In my wife's parents house they never had to pay one satang ever since they built a new home about 30 years ago.

  6. Went yesterday to Surin Immigration for a Residence Certficate, 500 Baht. In the evening I went to a local hospital for a medical certificate. Since I'm recorded there as a diabetic, I was requested to do an X-ray, was told lungs are excellent, 470 Baht. This morning I went to Rattanaburi (northern Surin province) LTD. Entered about 08:15, deposited all my documents, duly signed. Was called for a color and brake reaction test. At the latter the lady said: Woaw! I asked why "woaw? She said: so fast. Then looked at two videos totalling one hour, paid for the license 505 Baht, took a picture and picked up my new driver's licence minutes later at 10:00. Valid until 2028. Mind you, I'm 76½ years old. My wife asked if there is an age limit. The lady said: We look how fit an elderly applicant looks and decide who gets and who doesn't.

Did you ever create a Mor Promt account?  During that regristration  process you will create a password which you need to remember.

After registering an acct and logging on you will not need to enter your ID and password again unless you select Logout.  That is, the app stays logged on

That might be the key. I probably have never registered on that app. I will try if I can register. Let me see.

I can still edit, so I write an update: Yes, I was able to register, that means I wasn't registered at all. For the password I only had the choice of numbers.

But anyway, only 3 shots are recorded so far. No trace of my booster shot on June 24. That means, I will have to go back to the hospital and inquire.

  8. I wish to thank all respondents for their contributions.

The main problem I have with Mor Phrom is the following: I am asked ID card and a password. Password? I never had to generate a password for this app! I know my ID but don't know the password. So I click on "Forgot your password?'

There I have to put in  my ID and my phone number, I have to click on "Confirm", After I have to click on  "(Please confirm to get a new password via SMS)". Then there are two options: "Confirm" or "Cancel". I click on Confirm, then the app goes back to the previous page and nothing happens. I don't receive a new password.

End of the line. Should I call 1422 like widarp suggests? I don't know who's behind that number,

If that doesn't work, I might go back to the hospital where I got the shot, 18 km from my home,

I add screenshots of the two last operations I subscribed

Received my second booster shot yesterday in northern Surin province. That happened out of sheer luck.

We are from Rattanaburi district, but I have chosen to frequent Tha Tum hospital, only 17 km from our home. Since a couple of years I go there every two or three months for my periodic diabetes check-up. In Tha Tum they cover this area for diabetics much better than in Rattanaburi.

So yesterday there I was again with my wife. About 08:45 we were told that I could get a Pfizer booster shot after 10:30. The fact hat I go to a hospital not in my area was quickly solved. They needed my passport and my national covid-19 certificate which shows my first three Pfizer vaccinations, the first two in Khon Kaen at Bangkok Hospital and the third, my first booster shot at the local small district hospital 4½ months ago. so around 10:40 I received my booster shot. I asked the doctor or nurse, if I could take a picture of which lot of Pfizer Biontech they used. Then I understood why I was able so easily to get the jab: the lot's expiry date was 25/06/2565, which was just one day later. See screenshot attached.

Looks good.  Can't see a comprehensive channel listing though.  Keep us posted on how it goes; I'm very happy with PulseTV but it's good to have a back-up!

I'm on a 24 hr trial with motion tv. I can only say: it's impressive, really impressive. I've looked at several tennis matches at Roland Garros on Tennis Channel last night. I'm convinced this is the right thing for me. I will register for my first month this afternoon. I don't know yet about backup. I think there is backup on the paid version of Tivimate I'm using.
