How do you know it is better without trying Pulse?

Only going to cost you 1,000 to find out.

Very easy to find cheaper options but at what quality.

Pulse has been going for years so is hardly likely to be going anywhere soon.

I was the same as you.

Trying every cheap option out there and they all disappointed.

    Does your option have catchup?

I don't know if it's better, but it's worth a try. It's $15 a month and I can quit anytime. What's catchup? I'm only looking for tennis live tv. If you want to have a look and get a trial go here.

Sorry, my answer was intended for Lite Beer, I hit the wrong button.

Pulse has Supersport Tennis Channel from South Africa.

    You wanted tennis.

Thank you, but I found a better option than Pulse and cheaper.

There are hundreds of those services out there and most of them are hit and miss.

The only one I have had any success with is pulse-tv

A bit pricey at 1,000 Baht a month or 10,000 a year but it works.

1'000 Baht/month is pricy with the small choice of channels + 4500 Baht for a box to start with (even Truevision set up is free). None of the channels I want is available.

Why would anyone want access to 17000 channels. Takes more time to decide which one to watch than actually watching the selected program.

Because here I can get the channel(s) I want for free. Takes no time to select your favorite channel.

  6. I just stumbled over this website iptv.tube, 15 Euros a month gives you access to 17'000 channels around the world.

Does anyone here use this service?

Thanks a lot! Is there much difference between a X96 and a H96? The latter it says is Android 11. I just notice that two buyers are not happy with this model. So, better not.

Where would you recommend me to buy your model? Do you have a link?

    Android box

Remember if you buy one, the newest one is Android 13...  Android 14 will be out later this year or early next year

Myself have had a Android box for years,  my latest is Android 10 - X96 Air. [auto updated myself online from Android 9]   far far better than the old models I have had.....  I have lots of Apps almost all 100% problem free + FREE  + Live Sports

There are still sellers trying to sell off old Android 5 or 6 ...  there are plenty of Android 10 + 11 For Sale, so far never seen the Android 13 here

May 2021 - New Android 12 is the 1st major change [faster/more security to name a few] in 19 Android updates..

Thanks a million, Ignis! I'll watch out for no less than Android 10 to start with.

An all-encompassing phrase to include boxes, sticks and any device which connects to the TV and internet, facilitates streaming/gaming/video playback and can run apps.

Thanks. I'm looking for a box which could give me the following TV channels for free: Fox Sport HD, Fox Sport 2 HD, Fox Sport 3 HD, ESPN, Eurosport, Sky Sports and (maybe?) Tennis Channel. I looked at this MXQ Pro Q96, it has 2928 reviews, far, far more than any other box. Could this do the job?

Wow, I just notice it's out of stock...

That TV runs Google OS, so you can downlead apps from the PlayStore. Connect the TV to your home network, via WiFi or wired ethernet

Maybe trial a streaming tennis service, via a web browser on the TV.

This TCL TV may support native casting, so if connected to your home network, then you can cast from your phone, tablet, PC to your TV. Maybe ask a tech savvy youngster to help you out?

For the LG TV you'll need a bolt-on device like an Android box. These connect to your home network and your TV (HDMI), then you run apps or a browser on the box. Android boxes are, for the most part, all the same. Just buy an inexpensive one, which has a lot of reviews. Or consider a stick, like the Xiaomi MI TV Stick.

    Thanks.

Question: what  do you mean with "bolt-on"? I thought an Android box is connected through HDMI.

Do you have broadband internet access?

What inputs does this older LG TV support? HDMI?

Do you care about language or commentary?

You want to watch events live, correct?

Are you willing to pay for a service? If so, how much per month/year?

Can you tell us more about this TCL TV? Exact model number?

Do you have a mobile phone?

After all those questions, the answer is yes.

There are services like tennistv.com which show all ATP events except the Grand Slams. You can find those pretty easily. Not sire about the WTA though.

Maybe have a search on your own?

    Hi,

Yes, I have TOT broadband internet access. I use wifi all around the house.

The older LG has two HDMI.

I don't care too much about language as I speak several languages.

Yes, I would like to watch events live.

If absolutely necessary, I'm willing to pay up to $20.-- a month

The TCL is model 55T6. It has lots of possibilities to connect.

Yes, I have a mobile phone.

What would help me the most would be if you could name me a device I could use with my LG TV. Thanks in advance if you can help.

  14. Here is my situation:

First of all: my passion is tennis.

In my bedroom I have a 50" LG plasma TV which we bought almost 12 years ago. It has a fantastic picture with vivid colors. On this TV we have always used Truevision, Until about 1½ years ago TV featured Fox Sports 1, 2 & 3. That was great. Tennis galore. But that is history. Until the end of last year TV showed alternatively ATP (men) and WTA (women) tennis matches. But this year I haven't seen any ATP matches, not one. For the rest it's reruns and reruns of past tennis matches.

No need to say that I'm frustrated and sick and tired of Truevision at max level now.

I need a good suggestion for a box I can connect which gives me all the tennis possible. I don't need movies or the like, all I need is tennis.

FYI, we have a 55" TCL smart TV in the living room, but I prefer watching tennis matches in the bedroom.

    Can anyone help?

  15. One thing my wife told me: Kerry always sends an SMS saying: "We will send you a parcel today and will call you later. At around 19:00 they mark on the tracking site: Phone cannot be reached. Our courier will try to deliver again." I attach a screenshot.

I called Kerry at 1217 and was able to speak with one of their people. The lady said she will try to co-ordinate that the parcel will b delivered to us today. Let's see.

CoD provides an extra incentive for everyone to insure a timely delivery.

The final hub is 70 Km away? Ouch. With only one delivery vehicle - I hope it's not a motorbike - and the rising fuel prices you mention, I can see them struggling to make deliveries.

Thanks for the reply. I doubt they have only one delivery vehicle. I always see them coming to our area with the orange pick-up trucks. By the way Kerry Ran-g an delivers to some hub in Rattanaburi and from there they deliver to our home. But I have no idea where their Rattanaburi hub is.

Do you prepay or use CoD?

Have you received any packages from Kerry?

You receive deliveries from other logistics companies? Thai Post?

You use your wife's mobile number? I assume her phone is in working order and that she can receive calls? And no missed calls?

Is a delivery driver identified - they usually are by name?

Maybe give them a visit bearing gifts and foodstuffs.

And tip the driver 20 baht going forward.

I'd complain to the seller, they can put pressure on Lazada and/or Kerry.

I always prepay with credit card. Yes, occasionally I do receive packages from that hub. I guess, they not only have one driver there. The other 50% of deliveries come with Flash Express. And I can certify that FE in my area works fast an efficiently.

I don't like the idea of a visit. there hub is a bout 70 km away from our home. with the gasoline price over 40 Baht/litre I'm not inclined to go there.

I usually contact the seller, but they tell me, they cannot help.

  18. I made a terrible mistake on my initial post and I must apologize for it. I cannot blame C.P. for this price increase as I come to think that the price increase most probably comes from the producer which is Green Tea Co. Ltd.

So, I retract my statement "Shame on C.P." I apologize to C.P. C.P. only passes on a price increase which it gets from the producer.

The price of 89 Baht I paid recently might have been a discounted price from 99 Baht, then still it was an increase of 30%.

Moderators: please close this thread. Thank you.

Why blame CP for the price increase on that particular brand of tea?  The stores you mentioned sell a wide variety of products that are not made by CP......my Kellogg's corn flakes, as an example.

Be thankful that the government controls prices on many items......diesel gas, for example.......your electric........eggs......meat.  People in the US/UK aren't so fortunate!

C.P. makes the prices at Lotus's, for any products they sell.

The government only controls prices on diesel, not on gasoline. My car runs on gasoline. If I pay 4 Baht or 5 or even six for an egg, that doesn't really hurt my wallet. My extended family has chicken which produce eggs. Stay on topic, kokesaat, I only wrote about a product, made in Thailand which increased by 45%. Your Kellogg's Corn Flakes I bought 2 weeks ago a 500 g pack for 109 Baht, not really mind buggling.

  20. If it's really time-sensitive, you are in for some extortion.

But if time is on your side, you send it through a shipper in the U.S. I buy at Amazon.com and have it shipped to a Thai Freight forwarder, called Shop and Ship US, located in Glendale, a suburb of Los Angeles. They send it to Thailand and they are not taxed by the Thai Royal Customs. Once arrived at Suvarnabhumi Airport, I receive packs within 2-3 days in upper Surin province.
