  1. I had 3 strains of Dengue, and preferable to herpes as once recover from dengue probably not going to get that strain again. Herpes is forever.
  2. That only applies to Muslim men, and you won't fool them pretending to be one. BTW, a Muslim man with 4 wives has to treat them all equally, which means costing 4 times as much as with only one wife. For a start that means 4 houses.
  3. A Thai refuse dump would be better than what I can afford on a pension back home. ( not really, but that's how I feel almost every day wishing I was back in LOS ). Only rich people get to enjoy life here, unless all one wants out of life is beer and rugby on tv, and no shortage of them, for sure.
  4. You'd have to pay me to go visit Bali. It's full of Aussies.
  5. Did you expect Thailand to be just like Australia?
  6. Google is your friend. Surely you didn't imagine the exchange rate would be favourable to you for ever, did you? Did you not make plans for that eventuality?
  7. Didn't work for me. I was offered a girl right off the bus from the village by her sister, who had been working bar for a while. When we got to the room and it was time to hide the sausage, she declined to remove her clothing. Of course she was back in the bar in record time, but while I refused to "tip" her, the mama san chose to not refund me the bar fine. PS. That must have been an interesting conversation between her and her sister later.
  8. Errrrr, I suspect that when it comes to a "sense of humour" women differ greatly from men in what women expect as a "sense of humour". For example, I once went to a comedy show where the comedian had well known views of women and they were not complementary. Of course the usual mob of women looking to cause trouble were in the audience, and when one exceptionally annoying woman was told to get a job as a traffic hump, most of the men roared with laughter, but the women were not amused. IMO a woman's version of a "sense of humour" is one where the guy laughs at her jokes, no matter how pathetic they are.
  9. I'm with you on that. To my everlasting regret I did develop deep emotional bonds with two women, that both turned out to be rotten human beings, and the deep emotional bonds were the reason I didn't ditch them in the first year, when it would have been far less financially destructive for me.
  10. There are porn VDOs for every taste. You could have found one that only had boring sex on it if you had looked. I suspect that your idea of "kinky" is the norm for sexually active people that enjoy a bit of rumpty. I am, of course, excluding fetish, rape and sadism While I never got the point of sticking it in an orifice never designed for sex, it seems to be commonplace among a certain demographic, and if American porn is anything to go by, that is the one with multiple rubbish tattoos, multiple body piercings, gang bangers and rather ugly large women. American porn in the 1980s used to be quite sedate, use attractive people ( except for one exceptionally ugly, but prolific male ) not a tattoo or body piercing ( except in the ears ) in sight and never entering by the back door.
  11. I didn't post that. It was by a different poster that I quoted. Please sort your error out. It's also against forum rules, as you abbreviated the quote to the point it lost context.
  12. Lesson for people that don't want or throw away the paper receipt. If wrongly accused of stealing something, a paper receipt easily proves that one did buy the item. I'm aware that many are all electronic, but I don't know how that would work in the event of an accusation, as I have never and hopefully never will go down that road.
  13. The IDF killed many civilians in the north of Lebanon, far from the fighting. https://apnews.com/article/israel-palestinians-hamas-war-lebanon-hezbollah-news-10-14-2024-70c8cf5a93eec9ea643a5fda5670da93 AITO, Lebanon (AP) — An Israeli airstrike hit an apartment building in northern Lebanon on Monday, killing at least 21 people, according to the Lebanese Red Cross. There was no immediate comment from the Israeli military and it was not clear what the target was. The strike hit a small apartment building in the village of Aito, which is part of the country’s Christian heartland in the north and far from the Hezbollah militant group’s main areas of influence in the south and east.
  14. In an ideal world! In the real world it pays to be realistic. Given that Hezbollah is too large a force for the Lebanese government ( which no longer really functions anyway ) to eliminate, and it's also too strong for UNIFIL to defeat ( and no sane western government would send troops to try anyway ) that means the only force that could try would be the IDF and they got punished the last time they tried to do that. Given the lack of victory speeches by netanyahu, one suspects that the IDF isn't doing too well on the ground in southern Lebanon this time around either. The bombing campaign has not even stopped them sending missiles and drones, given the successful drone attack on the Golani brigade.
  15. Will we actually know on Nov 6 if they accept postal votes after the election and it's too close to call on the day?
  16. Personal shortcomings only count when there is a balance between candidates. In the present situation we have a known candidate with experience of being president and we know more or less what we will get with him. Harris is a closed book and is making sure it stays that way, with interviews and debate only with friends. Given I don't like her, and I think a lot ( millions and millions ) don't like her, and we know so little about how she will behave if elected, I ( and they ) will support the known candidate. That's entirely down to her choice to refuse interviews where she gets asked hard questions.
  17. He can try, but he'll be so old that I doubt anyone would support him to do so. I can't see him winning a primary again. The best he could actually do is snipe at the Dems from the sidelines.
  18. Do you get that close to people you only meet occasionally? Photo off google images from Washington Post.
  19. Don't have to be an American to not know anything about Harris. So insignificant since she went into politics that hardly anything is known about her. I never even heard of her till she was picked to be VP. Putting people in jail for smoking weed is not preparation for leading the not so free world.
  20. I liked Palin. IMO she was a breath of fresh air compared to all the "do nothing except warm a seat" members of congress. At the least, she hadn't spent her entire life as a professional politician, which is never a good thing.
  21. IMO Trump wants to make America stronger. It's not strong when everything is made in China, as China is in the seat of power in a relationship like that. If Trump makes it economical to return manufacturing to the US, that a win for America as it stops China getting money to build it's military and it makes America stronger, as it's not dependant on an enemy state for it's goods.
  22. I don't know if women advertising for a date still use the phrase "a sense of humour" when looking for the ideal man, but it was always BS anyway, as they'd never have gone out with Ken Dodd, or Cubby Roy Brown, and they were funny guys.
  23. a loop hole? I never knew Asian anatomy was so different from western anatomy! Am I to believe that Asian women possess a loop shaped "hole". Perhaps Charlton Heston got it right in the movie "55 days at Peking".
