As an outsider, IMO Trump epitomises the American abroad. Brash, arrogant, self opinionated, outspoken and very loud. Considers that America is the greatest country in the world and everyone should toe the American line. IMO Trump IS what an American is, or used to be.

He seems to be extremely successful at getting people to talk about him, and getting headlines. That's something he's good at. When Biden and Harris are long forgotten, people will still know who Trump was.

Much of the conversation on many threads ends up having little to do with the topic. Why get picky now?

I wasn't aware he had a third wife- had to look it up. He was certainly popular till his run for POTUS.

I see zero attempt to be unbiased. It's just an excuse to rant about Trump. You didn't mention any of the good things he did during his term, like not starting any wars. IMO that trumps anything else he did. I also liked he stuck it in Iran's eye, sabotaged the APAC, and gave financially naughty NATO members a good boot up the bum.

Not being psychic I can't have an opinion on something so far away. If you were to ask if the sun will rise in the east in November I would confidently say yes, but that is entirely expected. IMO it depends on whether Biden/ Harris have managed to kick off Armageddon in the M E, brought about a ceasefire in Gaza, nuked Russia, made Zelensky call it off, or any number of other possibilities, all of which will impact on an individual's vote

I volunteered to go to Vietnam, and it wasn't my fault it ended for us before I got to go there. I ended up in Singapore for 2 years, which was incredibly great in the 70s. How about you? did you go when asked?

Perhaps he was happiest when counting his money. I knew a guy like that. I went to visit his rental houses with him and he walked 1/2 hour to save a few cents in train fare. He'll be rich, but that seemed to be all he cared about. The opposite is also true. I went to visit a guy in a different town, and rather than take a bus to his place he wanted ME to pay for a taxi. He was broke, but of his own making. Unemployed despite being a nurse, and nurses able to get a job anywhere in the UK then. His girlfriend that he lived with worked.

Money is a problem when one lives to make money, and not about using money to live one's life. Why would any human being need more than a billion$?

I thought you would be familiar with twisted words when your side claimed Biden was compus mentus ( till they couldn't hide the awful truth anymore ) and now Harris is being held up as the personification of "her almighty" on Earth.
