Good advice. I don't see that particular poster as he made too many personal insults against me, but I see his posts when he is quoted. I particularly enjoyed his "out of touch racist, terrorist supporting serial poster" insult, but if I were to be called that myself I'd be putting a poster that resorts to such abusive language on ignore.

That is indeed a question that has puzzled me since it all began. We are regaled with stories of how the poverty stricken travel to Europe/ Britain/ USA in search of a better life, and how they are robbed and preyed on along the way, yet they all seem to reach their destination after thousands of miles, not looking starved or sick, well clothed, with shoes that are not worn out. If they were so poor, how could they pay the traffickers? If they were robbed on the way, how did they pay for food and bribes further on? Something does not make sense, and I've never received a sensible answer when I asked in the past. I'm sure people in power know the answer, but they are keeping pretty quiet about it.

What are you on about? Waltzing would be kinda hard while driving. I just like to sing along. https://www.justsomelyrics.com/1321218/vonda-shepard-in-dreams-lyrics.html Vonda Shepard In dreams Lyrics I close my eyes and I drift away Into the magic night I softly say A silent prayer, like dreamers do. Then I fall asleep to dream my dreams of you. In dreams I walk with you. In dreams I talk to you. In dreams you're mine. All of the time were together In dreams, in dreams. Its too bad that all these things, can only happen in my dreams Only in dreams in beautiful dreams. That's the kinda rock that I was thinking about that you can't dance to. AC/DC. You'll certainly move to the music but it ain't dance moves. Wanna bet? You haven't seem me doing "shapes" to AC DC then? ( I believe "shapes" is how young people refer to dancing, but I could be wrong ). -

It must really grate then that Trump actually looks to have a possibility of being the next POTUS. Your smarts won't matter then. -

I'm constantly amazed by how much you "know" about all things Thai. Apparently you personally know most of the millions of Thai prostitutes ( you didn't forget about the ones that work in the Thai scene and never go near farangs, did you? ) to know what they get up to in their daily lives and what they do after giving it up. I knew two that gave it up. One became a maid, but that was worse than being a prostitute so she went back to work service in the same bar she used to dance in. The other went to university and eventually found a rich guy to marry. My wife had land, a rental house, and a family house in the village to go back to. -

Shall we send them to re education camps as the Chinese apparently like to do, or perhaps the Khmer Rouge solution is more to your liking. -

555555555555555555 If having a big butt or being fat was a disqualification for politicians, there wouldn't be many of the present mob still in power, IMO, but by all means focus one's attention on people's butt instead of their message. It just exposes how bereft of anything of relevance to say one is. -
Singapore had the right idea in the 70s ( I don't know what they do now ). They made the ones that didn't have jobs go cut grass with a backpack mower. Just cutting benefits without providing jobs only likely to lead to increased crime and gangs, IMO. Singapore also didn't have any tolerance for crime and punished criminals severely, which is something obviously lacking in western countries today.

I hadn't considered that, but it's certainly a possibility, IMO. Do Americans want a POTUS that does nothing? That might be better than the ones that start wars. Just going on tv and cackling might actually benefit the world. -

Must be a new thing. Nobody was complaining of it when he was apparently friendly with the Clintons and other big shots long ago. Did his first wife mention it in her divorce action? -

Fair enough. I probably shouldn't have said that others can't criticize. What I should have said was In a "democracy", people have a right to support anyone they want, whatever anyone else's opinion may be. -

They already tried it in NZ. The last lot, diabolicals all, IMO, wanted to tax the methane being belched by ruminants, which would likely have bankrupted many farmers, though that would probably have made them happy as they apparently hated farmers. It was so good seeing them get the boot. -

Loads of Republicans hate Trump and everything about him as much as any Dem. Why? because he said he wants to destroy the swamp, and they are as swampy as any Dem. I'll give up on "the bullsh!t 91 indictments are all politically motivated and controlled by the Dems." when your side stops insulting Trump supporters. In a "democracy", people can support anyone they want, and it's no one's right to criticize them for it. I think anyone that votes for Joe is demented, but I don't keep saying that on every post I write. -

and what if, shock horror, there is no path at all? I come from the viewpoint that "God works in mysterious ways" and if God wanted us to know how God worked, God would make it a lot more easier to understand than it is. Soooo, I had my Damascus moment, and yes, God exists, but God isn't running some sort of club that can be accessed only if we read a lot of stuff and practice meditation etc. We are all welcome, good, bad and indifferent- after all, we all have a bit of God in us, regardless of how we lived. I'll take my glimpses of the almighty in nature in general and in particular in a a sunset ( preferentially a sunset on a lovely breach with a friendly companion- but unfortunately God isn't in the business of granting wishes ), and wait for it all to be revealed in not too many years from now. Not that I'm dissing anyone else's theories- after all I know sod all about it, and perhaps I'm just too busy doing other things to try one of those paths. -

While I don't know what "rock" you are referring to, I probably don't like it then. I had Vonda Shepard's version of "in dreams" on repeat in the car, played very loudly while driving today- doesn't get better than that, unless it's AC DC played very loudly while sitting in a Pattaya Walking Street road front bar. Been there, done that and was so happy I almost wet myself ( the line "she told me to come but I was already there" has never been more appropriate.
