  1. I was responding to your claim that "Europe will be invaded by Russia again", which IMO is a nonsense given they have nukes. Anyway, that's far too non specific, if you are going to call the annexation of Crimea an "invasion of Europe". While the Europeans will apparently tolerate a proxy war against Russia, I'd be extremely surprised if they would accept an invasion of Russia itself by European forces, which would only succeed if America joined in, IMO. Not surprisingly, as Moscow is probably bankrolling him. You have zero proof of that, and it's more likely just the usual BS from the Trump haters than fact. IMO if Trump stops supporting Ukraine on day one, he'd be doing the right thing. America should IMO never have got involved in some European spat. The Europeans have been fighting each other as long as there have been countries on that continent.
  2. He knows the media will only use it to ridicule him, so IMO he is doing the right thing by not showing up. I remember the time when the moderator was openly biased against him in the 2016 debates. He won't lose any votes by not going on them.
  3. Biden ( or his handlers apparently think ) certainly shouldn't be in a debate. Trump doesn't need to be. Everything he has said has been published many times, so is there anyone in America that doesn't know where he stands on anything? It's only less well known people like Hayley that need to get out and make their views known. By not debating, she loses a rare opportunity to get herself out in the public eye. IMO the debates themselves are pointless , or at least the ones I've seen were, but they get the candidates out to a wider than normal audience.
  4. Does the UK actually need tennis players? They need doctors, nurses etc, people that do real jobs, they don't need someone that bats a ball back and forth.
  5. The only reason I'm responding to you here is that I saw it quoted on someone else's post. I was amused at how much you got wrong in the rant. The reason you are on ignore is that you choose to insult rather than debate in a reasonable manner, and do it continually. I do not have to put up with it. If there is any pitying to be done, it is I that pity you for having so little to say that you resort to insults. Does it make you feel happy to diss someone you know nothing about? I'll bet you wouldn't say those things to my face.
  6. I wonder if he had taken some drugs that made him do something crazy.
  7. and YOU would be in court facing a long stretch in jail.
  8. Update on the number of israeli military killed in the conflict since October 7. I doubt any numbers of Hamas fighters killed would be able to be verified, so I'll leave that for someone else to post. https://www.timesofisrael.com/authorities-name-44-soldiers-30-police-officers-killed-in-hamas-attack/ The Israel Defense Forces has published the names of 529 soldiers, officers, and reservists — many of whom are local security officers — killed during the ongoing war with Palestinian terrorists since October 7, mostly on the border with the Gaza Strip, with at least 193 during a ground offensive in the Hamas-run territory.
  9. I certainly agree with you on that. Seems that netanyahu has come to think he is invincible and can do anything and the US will blindly support him. Perhaps he is right about that. Maybe the tail is wagging the dog.
  10. Why would his Thai GF know any more about it than he does, unless she lived there?
  11. That's a must see IMO. Must see museum there as well. I went with a tour that only included travel on big bus and resort hotel with big swimming pool, water slide near the river. I stayed in a river raft room, but that was a mistake because of the noisy boats on the river. They had a boat trip to see a cave if that's interesting- I thought it was. I'd take the GF but go on the sightseeing alone, unless she was interested. They are usually OK alone for the day.
  12. While he says that BOTH parties are trampling on international law, only one is refusing to ceasefire. That would be referring to the party that has the planes and the bombs and is denying aid. Does he actually believe that the israelis will withdraw from the occupied West Bank to allow such a possibility? I don't know why he is repeating something IMO nobody with any sense thinks is possible any more.
  13. Does anyone believe that the hostages will be saved by continuing? IMO it's far more likely they will die, killed in the bombing, by disease ( as disease is apparently spreading among the Gazan population ), their own existing diseases ( medicine has only just been allowed to reach them ), or by being killed if their rescue looks likely. IMO the only way they will survive is through negotiation, and Hamas looks unlikely to agree to negotiations without a ceasefire. They have not so far and look prepared to see thousands more Gazans die without giving up. Perhaps they believe that it's better to die than live under israeli oppression.
  14. Perhaps I'm unusual but I never had any illegal drugs except a bit of weed in 1977 which did absolutely nothing for me. Never bothered after that.
  15. Alas you can't find "anything" on U Tube, especially the clips I want to watch. I'm an AKB48 fan, but it's hard to find anything that's very good of them. Lots of clips but mostly rubbish, and they are pants on anime.
  16. Sexy lingerie. None of the gogos I went to featured that. BTW, re your photos, nobody does cosplay better than the Japanese, or sexy, for that matter. Just too expensive for me. Talking about ideal jobs in LOS, I'd have loved being a travel photographer. Get to see the country and get paid for it- bliss.
  17. Perhaps not. It was a big hit for Orbison, but not Shepard, though I prefer her version- much more gutsy. If you can watch Ally McBeal it's in episode 11 of season 2
  18. and on that I agree 100%. Having experienced many inexplicable events, the very idea that everything can be explained scientifically is a nonsense.
  19. Hmmmmm. Last time I had with a relationship like that was in 1969. The only time in my life when I made friends easily was from 1969 to 1978, but that was so different from my present life it could have been in an alternate universe. If God almighty came in my door and asked me when I'd like to live forever ( think groundhog day ) it would be that decade of my life. It's a bit sad that all my best days were so long ago.
  20. I dare not as if it got onto social media the ladies would be throwing their underwear at me ( think Tom Jones x 100 ) wherever I go, and I can't be responsible for the stores running out.
  21. I'd have given you 50 thumbs up, but alas I'm restricted to one.
  22. I used to every Saturday night, when there was an old tyme dance. But that was way back before the world went mad and started saying there was more than one gender and it's OK to be a cat. A simpler and a better world, at least for us western people.
  23. The question for that would be why would we want to? It's not like there is a shortage of us.
  24. I agree to that and always have thought that. I also think if people can't do it the way I always did, legally, they don't have any right to do so. The criminal thing, other than making money transporting them, has always been a red herring IMO. As for the racist implication you use, they happen to be brown, so of course it's about brown people. In Europe they happen to apparently be mainly black and the ones trying to go to Australia were mainly Asian. Just their colour doesn't make it right to illegally enter a country looking for a better life, when they did nothing to improve the place they ran away from.
