  1. It is a real joke that the Transport Minister can ease the flood within 2 weeks. It is better for the government and BMA to tell the truth instead bringing the people round the bush. Let the people ready for the worst scenario.

If the Big Bags doesn't work, what will end up? It will create a real tsunami flood to Bangkok because the water level will increase till the high of the big bags as well 6km range distance. Never play a fool with water.

  2. Believe it or not, this is what we are told:

    - Rojana Industrial Estate (Ayutthaya) has maintained that it has built the strongest embankment wall of 6m high ... yet this place is now under water.

    - High-Tech Industrial Estate (Ayutthaya) also claims that its walls/embankments are made of solid soil capable of stopping rushingfloods ... now this place sinks under water.

    - Bang Pa-In Industrial Estate (Ayutthaya) also claims that it has protected itself with the strongest double layer sand bags ... now it is submerged by flood water.

    - Navanakorn Industrial Estate also claims to be secure against any impending flood, because it has built a 5 m high wall, yet now it, too, is under water.

    - Bangkok confidently says it has prepared for a worse scenario by making an embankment wall 50cm higher than all previous recorded flood water levels ...but could Bangkok save itself?

    - Properties near Suvarnabhumi International Airport in Bangkok are also at risk, although the airport itself is said to be well protected. Let us wait and see.

  4. We should stop complaining Pheu Thai party will start the new government. The majority of Thais choose the party and Yingluck, we must learn to respect the people decision. We should give encourage the upcoming government and give good advice to improve the country. I am not on any side of the party but I believe that restoring the economy while it able to help many Thais.

  5. No chance.

The reds/yellows idea of democracy is that their side wins. If their side doesn't win then they call foul and the whole process starts again.

    Sad but true.

Actually I agree with you - it is sad but true - would you ever believe this is a Buddhist country? it's almost beyond recognition - and I warrent that protagonists on both sides go to the Temple - it's almost depressing

No different from some of those other 'western' nations whos presidents leaders goto church and carry on just after they've sent forces in to bomb hundreds of thousands of civilians caught in the way of their oil seeking exercises wars on terror. :)

Never ending story...new election is good but what happen next ... is the people ready to make peace within south and north

  6. It is the time to called PM Abhisit to step down and he don't waste anymore time. Damages being done in the international reputation, property and people. More and more red shirts is attacking at most of the provinces based on the TV News. Also ex-PM Thaksin should stop this activity and called off the red shirts back home so that Songkran will be white rather than black.

I am also a farang and my embassy called me see whether we are alright or not. Therefore we hope that the Suvarnabhumi International Bangkok Airport will not close or nearby the location will not be interupted on Thursday. Based on the TV news showing the video clips, most of the intersections within the highways being blocked by red shirts include the rail track intersections. Getting more serious this round.

If you guys don't believe it, it is better to walk around Bangkok to see what's happen. Don't only read the papers online, watch the TV news.

I hope that PM Abhisit be humble down and if he love the country, he should resign immediately and restore the country by election.

  7. I just got my one year Non-Imm O visa with mutiple entry and this is first time applying for the thai visa. The consular never asked me anything such as bank statement, bank guarantee, my thai wife ID, family photo, house book and etc. They only asked me the marriage certificate in English (not marry in Thailand) and my thai wife passport...that's all. Moreover the visa fee is waived (free) and took us to apply and get it within 10 mins only. Usually the consular will give 3 months visa first, then issued 1 year visa, they didn't give me 3 months visa rather 1 year visa.

One thing I need to know whether can I work in Thailand, if you could assist me. Thanks.

  9. Good News!

I went to Vietiane, Laos PDR to applied for my Non-Immigrant B (work) and it was successful. Moreover, I don't need to pay a single cent for the Single Entry Non-B at all...amazing.

    Regards,

    Steve

    Hi Steve,

I have a category O visa that I want to update to a B visa...is this easy to do in Laos? What paperwork did you take to apply for your B visa?

If you can help that would be great,

    Thanks

I went to Vientiane, Laos and it take two days....you must submit between 8.30am - 12pm (better go early as there is long Q there).

    You need to bring;

    1. Letter of Invitation from the company

    2. Lists of Shareholders (also showing than it is a paid up of THB 2 million)

    3. VAT certificate

    4. Company Registration

To play safe, try to use the company stamp and chop all the papers above and sign initial. Then you will get it.

  10. Now settle with Non-B....anybody can advice me on Work Permit. If the paid-up capital THB 1 million, do the Ministry of Labour accept?

Secondly, my friend is helping me to get through the work permit by providing the company's documents to me and some documents unable produce as list of Salary tax, director resident registration and VAT tax detail.

    Can you advice.

  11. I just got it free Non-Immigrant B (work) and the receipt stated "Gratis" mean free visa.

To apply for Non-Immigrant B, it is easy....get a letter of invitation + list of shareholders + VAT registration + company registration and the Embassy will immediately approve.

Some legal agency tried to make money from you...try to get a friend to recommend you from Thai.

  12. Hi Everyone,

I need your guidance and appreciate it.

I am planning to go to Phnom Penh, Cambodia to apply for Non-Imm B for the first time next week and I had been adviced by two work-permit consultants not to go Phnom Penh to apply as they don't have it. I need to find out whether Phnom Penh open for Non-Imm B. How much do their charge for mutiple visa (USD 125 or THB 5,000) and how many months (3 months or 12 months)?

Secondly, I have an invitation letter from the company + list of shareholders, certificate of incorporation, audited report and VAT. Is there enough to apply for the Non-Imm B?

    Thank you.

    Regards,

    Steve :o
