I think Thai law gives 10 days a year paid sick. (That's what my employer told me).

Have any Thais got the requisite 'coaching badges'?
Nevermind, he can always always just get them on Khao San.

Did you use the wrong entrance - there is a gay's only Tonys - you might have joined the wrong club.

With all this talk of the Mach 3 I am tempted to chuck out the Tesco-own brand that I've just used that tried to rip my face off. It is annoying having to remember all those things about following the natural growth of the hair...
Mach 3 for me- rarely cuts, blades are a bloody rip off tho'

I only know about Malaysia. A pal of mine had to do this, about a year and a half ago tho' so someone may hopefully have more up to date info. He didn't have the WP3- they extened his visa for a month or so (for free) and he just had to go back with the WP3.
I think they inform you when you give in the paperwork if there is something missing.
You will be able to get a tourist visa at the border regardless when you return if you need to.
Udon? I have no idea- sorry, it can't be a very long flight.

Dog owners remind me of the NRA - they like what they have and don't give a dam_n about the consequences, which are often severe. The NRA will defend to the death the right to bear arms. I will defend to the death the right to protect myself against aggressive and dangerous dogs, by whatever method.
Eh? Who is it that's like the NRA again?

Poisonning the dogs, what a good idea.
Some idiot was upset with my neighbours 3 dogs barking and laid down poison near our house.
Mine was first to die in my hands.
How appalling...

Sad though it may sound, I actually find taking a register at the beginning of each class does help.
It is also a useful classroom management tool in terms of having the students prepared and quiet for the start of the lesson proper.

Lol, sorry didn't know there was one.

It's not possible to do it at the Royal Thai Consulate in Hull? At least it would save you plodding into London with the traffic.

My dog had blood parasites whn he was a pup- they're nasty. He had a 5 day supply of medication (I don't know what) but still ended up in the vet for a week on a drip.
You could always get a second opinion if you're unsure but IMO just make sure you nail them apparently it can be fatal.

yw- not sure if it'll be much use tho'

Some of your hassle is just TIT- my school can certainly tick a couple of those boxes, but it sounds like you're suffering too much. PM me i might have a job to interest you.

LOL, but where's he going to fit the 25 yahoos to shout "YOU, FARANG!!" as he nearly wipes my motorbike off the road?
Oh, on top like any other Thai pickup driver I guess...

Such language on an internet forum! "If you have nothing nice to say, you shouldn't say anything" as my dear departed mater used to say.
And he/she said that to you ?
???

Sounds good. Hopefully this will extend to riding on the pavement also...
I seem to remember reading in the Lonely Planet or some such place, years ago, that it is actually legal to ride a motorbike on the pavement in a traffic jam.
Tho' we rarely see those in BKK of course...

I live in Ratchaburi- which is the next province over from Sohgkhram. Don't know how many farangs there are there but I think it's quieter than ours for farangs (nowadays we have a lot compared to when I arrived 7 years ago) .
For what it may be worth to you, house prices in The Rat are 2-5k per month, food is normal outta town prices (20 baht to however much you want to spend), nightlife is pretty busy but I think Songkhram is much quieter than here.
You don't say if you're looking for work but I think there are 2-3 catholic schools in the province. Sakorn, I'm afraid I cannot help you with at all.
Good luck

On both my desktop and laptop the computer frequently shows the symptoms you describe if there is ANYTHING in any of the USB ports. Don't know why but it definitely happens.

I suspect it means 'in lieu' days.
