If I remember correctly from prior versions of these Yale researchers reports, their core group of study participants were people who reported a WIDE range of pre-existing health issues and conditions at the outset. And the authors also wrote: "...this study is early-stage and requires replication and validation. We emphasize the critical task of discerning between meaningful results and random fluctuations in the data. Future work is essential to elucidate these relationships."

This has been an ongoing issue with these researchers at Yale, who are a credible bunch.... But, what they've mainly been doing is documenting the goings on of people (including folks recruited from anti-vax groups, a couple of whose leaders are listed as co-authors of the study) who claim they're suffering from vaccine-related side effects. But in general, at least, their prior reports and studies haven't documented much / any of a proven causal connections between the subjects conditions and their having received COVID vaccinations. As scientists say, correlation is NOT causation. Yes they got vaccinated and yes they have symptoms, but why? And, most Americans aren't "healthy" by the CDC's own definition of who should receive the COVID vaccines, given that there's a very long list developed by the CDC of conditions that put various people and groups at higher risk for bad outcomes from COVID infections.

All around, she said, big Thai companies have been quietly laying off employees, offering voluntary early retirements and if there are not enough takers for that, basically forcing staff out and paying the mandatory separation amounts that are based on accumulated years of service. I believe it's typically one month lump sum salary per year of credited service. My wife was able to find a new job in her chosen field, but at a lesser salary, and it took her two months of searching. She literally applied for, dunno, certainly more than 100 job postings in her field, and was chosen to interview for more than a dozen.... The weird part was, there were all kinds of corporate job vacancy posting out there.... But the Thai companies aren't looking to hire Thais in their 40s...even for jobs that supposedly want people with higher levels of experience. And the salaries being offered seem quite a bit lower than they've been in the past for comparable jobs.

The Senate confirmed me to ensure that unbiased evidence serves our nation’s health, and for doing that, I lost my job. America’s children could lose far more. ... One of the troubling directives from that meeting [with RFK Jr.] more than a week ago: I was told to preapprove the recommendations of a vaccine advisory panel newly filled with people who have publicly expressed antivaccine rhetoric. That panel’s next meeting is scheduled for Sept. 18-19. It is imperative that the panel’s recommendations aren’t rubber-stamped but instead are rigorously and scientifically reviewed before being accepted or rejected. ... Those seeking to undermine vaccines use a familiar playbook: discredit research, weaken advisory committees, and use manipulated outcomes to unravel protections that generations of families have relied on to keep deadly diseases at bay. Once trusted experts are removed and advisory bodies are stacked, the results are predetermined. That isn’t reform. It is sabotage. ... Public health shouldn’t be partisan.
