I know cannabis has been used for many centuries by all kinds of people for all kind of reasons.
So you could say most of the other(illegal) drugs came after cannabis and they are added to what was available already.Until certain governments decided to make it illegal.(for the wrong reasons)
Alcohol is far more dangerous to use.
Honest question, have you ever been drunk?
Second honest question, have you ever used cannabis?
If you have not i do not believe you are really qualified to have an opinion.
This is not meant to attack you and it goes for every one who has never used it but has an opinion
on it.
Cannabis high drivers? It is a possibility but they would probably drive at 20 km per hour
and think they are going really fast.
Cannabis is the drug of relaxation and peace(and pizza).
I never smoked it either but i have used eatables and oil to help me sleep.
I happen to believe if you have ever used cannabis you will not have a need for other drugs.
Very good post...bang on mate..

You know absolutely NOTHING of what you're talking about...probably best stop posting nonsense.

I had it done there last month. I had to make an appointment about 3 weeks in advance. The "donation" of 5,000 baht is compulsory, but as I was quoted 20,000 by a hospital in Bangkok, it's well worth it. The procedure is very quick (no scalpel) and the staff are great. I have mild hypertension, and the doctor was worried about my blood pressure, so I had to have a lie-down for 30 minutes before they would do it!
Nice one Brewster for confirming what they told me. Cheers mate.

Anyone been to the PDA above CC lately? I went there today at 8am and a nurse said I had to make an appointment, the earliest being 10th November. She also said it costs 5k.
Have they stopped doing the free (donations) vasectomy?

Except that they make it difficult for you to do so.
I went to my local SS office with company HR, which just happened to be in the same building as the company. They told me to come back after my WP was cancelled. I went back after WP cancelled, again with company HR only to be told "cannot" you don't have a WP.
Was very easy for me...just went to Samut Prakan SSO who didn't even ask about wp being cancelled. Just gave them my SS number and told them I want to pay by myself because I had quit my job...no questions asked and was finished in 30 minutes

I tried to pay into the social fund but as a business owner they didn’t allow it
is this to justify the higher tier pricing?
it seems that way to me.
Ah yes, as a director of a company you're not allowed to pay into SS. Ridiculous really and yes probably just to justify a higher price. At the end if the day Thai's only care about money.

All Thais pay a govt. subsidized 30 baht per visit, From cut finger to open heart surgery.
Cant believe that extends to all ASEAN ! Must surely be a separate ASEAN Tariff ?
Work Permit Foreigners make NHS type contributions so thats their separate tariff.
Non - WP Foreigners do not pay into thai nhs so thats a separate higher tariff (should be covered by provate insurance). So far so good. Not Discrimanatory. Case Unclear.
Even then ,public hospital foreigner tariff costs are roughly one third private hospital costs.
Thats the real injustice scandal.
Even when Insured, always get yourself to the best local public hospital, like Wachira Phuket Town, so you burn through your insured cover limits at one third pace !
Actually it's possible for non wp holders to pay into social security here, providing that they did previously hold a wp.

You would be applying for a one year extension of stay based upon being the parent of a Thai.
What you have to have is to legitimize your parental right at a family court or if you child is 7 year old or older it can be done at a Amphoe.
I don't think there is any agent that can get around the legitimization of your parenthood.
I understand that and will do the amphur thing soon. The agent can circumvent that. Only need to be stated on birth certificate as father

If "parental rights" ....(your term) has nothing to do with it then why mention it.
Along with word "bypass".
Poorly worded to say the least.
BTW your either looking for agent to bypass the financials or not. Again not clear. You state "sort out my 400k in updated bankbook".
That could mean anything.
Listen mate. I know what I need and want. If you have a child out of wedlock but are named on birth certificate then you are NOT the legal father of that child, hence zero paternal rights. Immigration will only accept an extension of stay based on having a Thai child if you married the mother, (automatic parental rights) you go to court to gain parental rights or you can go to any district office with your child (if they're old enough) and they will grant you parental rights.
Please only comment on issues you actually know about.
Regarding financial. Yes there are two options, either the agent goes with you to transfer the 400k to update bank book which is returned immediately, or they can "bypass" this step with the IO.
CLEAR ENOUGH FOR YOU?
Also please only comment if you have experience or know an agent that deals with SAMUT PRAKAN IMMIGRATION.
Thanks

What parental rights. As long as you have a birth certificate with your name you are ok when using an agent. Regarding money, they usually gets waived.
Look at your PM
Yes that's what I mean. On birth certificate which is what is needed for an agent

Your age 50+?
You can't bypass 'parental rights'.
Yes you can. I am on birth certificate. Parental rights has nothing to do with being named on birth certificate if you weren't or have never married the child's mother.

Does anyone know an agent that can sort out 1 year extension based on dependent child at SP only, I.e. bypass parental rights and sort out 400k in my updated bank book?
I entered on a non-o from Penang and have been on amnesty and then Covid extensions since whenever they closed the borders.
Cheers

I have an 11 year old and will be heading to the amphur soon with her mother to gain parental rights, legitimise etc.
I'm not sure what will be given when everything signed? I don't suppose anyone has an image of what i should expect to receive and that will satisfy immigration?
Thanks

Maybe the firm wised up to riders taking "the long way around" to get deliveries done ? Maybe they started noticing riders claiming they went 3 kms for a trip that should have been only 1.5 ?
Maybe that's why they started calculating based on walking distance ?
Oh right, riders would never fudge trips to make extra dosh. They are after all, the most honest of people working in the city. The fee is already calculated when people order food so that isn't possible

Hi Everyone.
I'm looking at getting married to my gf of 7 years.
Just looking for someone to give me a rundown of the actual process (in Covid times) and any tips on cheap translation services etc.
I'm British and live in Samut Prakan if that makes a difference.
Thanks in advance.

Not true, as I know for a fact with the car of an ex-wife. MY lawyer checked this for me, the bank can take possession of the car based on a court order, but the loan will stay with the original loan-taker.
(No, I did not pay off her debts, only made sure she had correct legal information)
wrong, found other info "Bailiffs and vehicles on finance, HP or contract hire. Bailiffs may not clamp or remove Hire Purchase, or leased Vehicles to recover unpaid debts owed by the hirer of the lessor. The law says the bailiff may only take control of the goods that belong to the debtor."

Same thing for me I honor my agreements. I know what I am getting into when i make them so i honor them. To rack up such a debt you must have known its crazy. Instead of economizing you rack up debt. Sorry we just have different views about this.
It would not have happened if covid didnt happen so what can i say? I've paid my dues for over 9 years its only due to covid that i am unable to keep paying the 3 big amounts.

The car will most likely still be in the name of the finance company, so they can't go after the car.
Exactly my thoughts, just needed clarification

It’s basically true from what I read but the banks have fine print built into their contracts somewhere...Another thing if you make a part payment or agree to payment terms to reduce debt the card is reactivated automatically.
correct

How did you run up massive credit card debt in 2 to 3 months?
The banks would have to get a court order to come after you.
I think if will all depend on how much you owe on the credit cards.
I have held credit cards here for over 9 years, one of the cards increased my limit automatically by 160,000 in november as i've always been in good standing with my credit. My total on just 3 cards stands at around 1.2 million owed. Yes they need to get a court order and need to do that within 2 years of me defaulting.
This is not my question though, I'm asking if anyone knows if they can seize my car if they ever do get a court order, due to the car still being under finance i technically do not own it, the finance company do.
