    If he had just taken his vows when he was caught, then he hadn't even started his monastic training yet. It appears to me he was just trying to escape being caught. Become a monk, hide out, sell a few pills to the local teenagers, hey, nice life. Maybe squeeze in a girlfriend once in awhile. Boom, living the dream.

    First the Thai's are deeply in debt, and now Thailand's economy is buoyed by China's booming influence. Something screwy here.

    You are correct. The Thai's I talk to just shrug their shoulders, they know there isn't a damn thing they can do about it. If they get out on the streets, they are probably going to get their heads bashed. They tell me, this is politics as usual in Thailand. Mai Pen Rai.

    But in that case, I think they would feel threatened and pour on the violence. Just my opinion.

    Ahhhh... turns out, he has a felony warrant on him from Florida, still open, and he can't qualify.

    Yes, true, however, if you delete Part B, and you go back to the US, and renew your Plan B, it becomes really expensive. I know, I did that.
