I agree with this also.. I once lived at a big Wat in Lum Luk Kha, we swept that place every day from one end to the other. Took a couple of hours. Good exercise.
Exactly.. Someone had their head up their ass. Get off you iPhones and pay attention. How damn hard is it to walk through and check to see if all have got off?
We had this old drunk monk come to our temple one day, riding on a motorcycle. Looking for a few baht. We told him we would feed him but not give him any money.. He said, no thanks, wasn't hungry. He drove off and rode right into a tree. ha ha ha
I met quite a few monks when I was a monk who could become "lady-boys" in a heartbeat. They had all the mannerism's down pat. Usually, but not always, the abbots of the temples are really cautious about ordaining these types of men/boys.
I agree.. Khao San Rd was never my favorite place, but if they can do it there, then they can open Soi Cowboy or Nana Plaza and get back to basics. Having fun on your vacation. Kudo's to this guy.
I used to live not far from the munition dump in Lopburi. I remember one very hot night, the police came around and had everyone vacate their homes and gather at a temple in Khok Sam Rong, down the road in case of the munitions going off in the heat. Exciting night.
