You Could Easily Rent one from Talad Rangsit/Talad Thai/ Talad Si Mum Muang Area as a lot of pick up trucks arrive here from other provinces with loaded goods and mostly travel back empty.

But as you said that you wont be driving it back so I guess you will have to take the driver with you as well, or pay the driver for traveling all the way to Buriram to pick up the truck if you do not want him to travel with you.

The Best thing to do is to Get a Tour package with one of the travel Agencies here in Thailand. That way you do not have to worry about anything about food, accomodation etc. You can ditch the plan of travel company or traveling with them in India, but u might wanna use their boarding adn loadging facilities as it will be difficult for you to arrange.

In every country the touts are always on the look out for the tourist, so they can get some extra green stuff out from their pockets.

Just head towards Bang na Intersection then take a right turn to srinakrin road, Turn left to Theparak and there are about 6 fishing ponds not far from each other. Best time to get there is in the morning as they tend to get filled up very quickly during the weekends.
