  1. Learn about food, Culture and Thai language as much as you can as it will be really helpful for the time u gonna spend here and also for ur future if u plan to stick to Thailand.

Be Safe that the most Importan tthing for you to do in Thailand. Do not get carried away by charming thai-girls and all sorts of parties, coz things in Thailand can get Ugly at anytime when it comes to Paties and Girls (not to mention their so called Bfs).

Rest Figure youself out and DO BRING YOUR BRAINS AND USE THEM.....NOT YOUR *******

  2. Not far from Ari is the Sapan Kwai...Just behing Big C Sapan Kwai, you can find a lot of service apartments and Hotels in Sapan Kwai Soi -1 and Soi 1/1. The rooms start from THB 535 NET Per Night. The one I prefer to stay at is in Soi 1/1. The rooms are ok but not too fancy. Nice Decent Hotel Named NICE PALACE. Check on Google.

A couple of Night Clubs and farang Bar is just around the Corner.

    Hope this Helps.

  4. 1. Take a plane, a bus, or a train to either Udon or Nong Khai. It is accross the bridge from Nong Khai and about an hour drive from Udon. You can also fly to Vientiane. Visa is available on arrival and costs about $30-35 depending on nationality.

    2. You visit the Royal Thai Embassy (Consulate Section) with your passport/copy and photos and fill out form and pay the fee (in workday morning - pick up next workday afternoon).

    3. If you request and pay for 2 they have been available. But if you really are about to start work with a work permit it is not going to able to be used.

    4. Your permitted to stay stamp expires on the 1st? I would go Monday the 31st.

    5. See 2 above - Thailand is just across the river.

    6. Believe there are scheduled runs to Vientiane but you can do yourself and they are not every day. They advertise in Bangkok Post Classified and are frequestly mentioned on the forum if you do a little reading of threads with Vientiane in name.

wow! the information u provided is really useful, thanks a lot mate.

yes my visa will expire on 1st April....so when do u think i should be there???

  6. If you have the documents plus a receipt for a work permit application most Consulates will provide a single entry non immigrant B visa. Believe some will later provide a multi entry after work permit issue if you are not able to extend your stay.

"How long does it take to get the work permit application receipt?? I have that application with me complete, but where do i submit it??"

and how many days will it take to get the work permit receipt?? i have around 10 days left on my visa.
