  1. There are specialists in the area of podiatry and orthotics who should be able to help with tailor made innersoles or other supports. Start by seeing a general practitioner, who should know where and how to access the above services. Removing your toe will affect your balance for the rest of your life, so don’t do that.
  2. While you’re waiting to see the doctor it might be worth considering anti-inflammatory medication, if you can stomach it - Ibuprofen, Diclofenac etc .. I recently suffered a wedge fracture at T12 following a fall and while an early x-ray was required to ascertain the damage, much of the pain and lack of mobility in the first few weeks was caused by swelling/inflammation. Wishing you well.
  3. Emirates never check me. Then immigration give me a 60 day stamp, even though my registration document shows a return in 89 days. But then I check in at business class, so they may see me favourably.
  4. Off-set Business Class seating required here. If you have to clamber over a pork bellied businessman every couple of hours, you're gonna tiddle on him eventually. So, airline at fault. Btw, Emirates are still offering similar non-offset seating on their older 777's, so you can't get out for a pee and whats more the old Emirates 777 seats are bucket seats' ie. not flat. Shocking.
  5. I’m freezing my butt off, I’m going back to England 🥶
  6. Do I need to do anything before I go to Gatwick, London on 24/12, (apart from buying tinsel and a red felt hat) for a business class flight with Emirates to Bkk that has a return date of 10/03/25? It’s over 60 days and I’m wondering if Emirates will allow me to depart?
  7. Indeed. I don’t imagine he will be in the economical section of the aircraft. Government or private aircraft?
  8. Sildenafil is the generic term for Viagra and many companies now make this product. Use the 25mg tablet if possible rather than the 50mg or 100mg. None of them are good for you, if you have a weak heart or higher blood pressure. Much less damaging is a medicine which will strike fear into the heart of most of the men reading this. It’s called Caverject and is injected direct into the old fella. The reason it’s less damaging is because it only acts on your old chap, unlike Viagra/Sildenafil, which affects your whole body, enlarging every blood vessel you’ve got. Get your courage up and talk to your doctor.
  9. I make no apology for repeating this. This is a free Test for an enlarged aorta and it is available to men and women in the UK. Get yours done please. You need to know.
  10. Ayortic annurism? Get yours checked guys if you’re over 65. Free in the Uk. It’s 10 minute external check using KY jelly and an ultrasound wand over the chest. Search your local health authority website, not your GP.
