  1. Well Rory made a good fist of it and a bogey on a Par 5 is always going to hurt. Congratulations to WC who,s shot into the last although coming up a little short was bang on line and and made a 2 putt par a lot easier.

Cam Smith with his silky smooth putting action will be very hard to beat in the Open...imho. I played at Royal Liverpool, course does nothing me...boring....bit further up the coast Hillside and Formby were much more interesting imo.

  2. Tried to put this post in the Golf news, but couldn't, ????

I hope Rory can put all the garbage (being chief spokesperson for the players) that has come him to one side concentrate on his Golf and win this thing.

Failing Rory, there is no doubting the consistency of young Viktor Koepka Cam Smith Rahm... So many contenders. Thankfully given there 1st Round Tee Time of 3.54pm... Nearly 6am here I will be able to watch live the Rory 3ball. ????

too far to go, you couldn't be bothered to even watch it on TV 555

Why would I.... Was never interested in it at all.... Just a gimmick which might have already run it's course.?

Each to his own as they say.

  4. I am with April International Basic Plan 500$ deductible and my premiums seem to go up by more than 15% every year ..65 it was 2236$ then 66 2651$and this year at 67 it will be 3131...just over 18%.

Only one claim so far which i was declined as i take xalatan eye drops for the prevention of Glaucoma and the policy (which i signed) says we will not cover for any eye impairments or there consequences...so 245000baht to fix a detached retina, which took 10 weeks to heal?,then last Sunday back to Bph and another 185000baht as it became unattached again, also i did,nt stay in Hospital this time, hence the difference in price. yes ouch in many ways.

Once the players get on board with the changes it will be a lot better for golf. DP World Tour and PGA really bored me recently vs LIV events

Never saw more than an hour in total of a Liv event... Didn't see the attraction.

Watching the Dp Tour time wise living here is perfect and it, s a good scrap with someone different winning nearly every week. Commentators don't have to big it up either.

As for the pga tour, coverage doesn't suit living here so have to make do with reruns... That's OK.

Pga has sold the Dp tour down the river imo cos 2maybe 3 of there Ryder Cup team are on the Liv tour. Where as no European on the Liv Tour would be anywhere near good enough for the European side. Imho

Why? even PGA didn't really care about the Saudi argument, Jay Monahan was bought off, it was always about money

There is your answer as to why? All about money nothing to do with the well established traditions of golf... Principles out of the window. Golf might never be the same again.... There will be more losers than winners. We will see but I predict a mess.

Yes, let's call it the LIV Superleague, but all to be agreed they were saying. Good news is the Ryder Cup will have the best players and Poulter, Stenson, Garcia etc can be captains and be involved

None of it effects me... Just leaves a bad taste in the mouth.

I think you'll get the same as now on pga and DP World Tour except LIV will become a superleague of the best players, not as it is now

So the pga and Dp will become feeder tours to the LivTour?

Big news, LIV is merging with PGA and DP World Tour, so much for the people saying LIV golf wasn't a good product

So we can look forward to music on most holes a shot gun start a No cut 54 hole tournament with a team event thrown in.. Plus the added bonus of just one tournament every 4 to 6 weeks.... That was there product wasn't it?

Green Valley seems popular with expats, and often membership transfers for sale. Problem with being a member is often you still pay a green fee, cart fee, caddy fee, caddy tip

I didn,t bother enquiring at Green Valley as i heard the course would/is closed for 6 months.

Pattaya CC would have suited me as i walk ..and a caddie fee of 380 baht + Tip was all i would of had to pay for....plus the 39000baht membership...a bargain imho.
