Buddhism is indeed an admirable belief system. However it deserves much better than the endemic corruption and hypocrisy of the Theravada hierarchy. Maybe the Sangha could consider attacking the everyday, ground level, HUMAN corruption of its ideals, rather than criticising efforts to make the belief system more accessible to the man-in-the-street......
