Anyone driven lately from Ubon to Sisaket?
Out of the two ways to go, Highway 24 or through Sisaket. Google says the driving time is within 10 minutes of each other. Which road is in better shape?
Thanks

"last september" is 2 months ago, I presume ? That would be the most recent info, so thanks. Yes, I've already tried to register at the link Michael Hare gave, but no luck either ????
Would you have needed a letter from DLT for the residence letter if you had gone to Immigration ? Or did the DLT just tell you to go to the tourist police ? And did the tourist police need any proof of address or anything ?
Thanks a lot.
Sorry for the delay in answering. They just said to go to the Tourist Police. The only thing I showed them was my passport.

I renewed mine last September in Ubon.
When I did mine they wanted you to make a reservation online. I tried but but when asked for passport number it did not work. I took a chance and went to the office and explained the problem and they let me get the license that day.
For the letter of residence, I was told to go to the tourist police. I did and I paid 200 bt but that was for two papers so one might be only 100bt. Their office is located on highway 217 (Ubon - Phibun) .
No need for a letter from the DLT for the tourist police. The DLT was packed when I went so you might want to get your residence letter prior to going to the DLT.
No movie to watch, only did the break test, eye coordination test and color blind test.
Can PM me if you need more info.

It's possible that quitting smoking and heart palpitations may not related.
Afib (Atrial Fibrillation) is a common for many people. The heart will start beating very fast. As high as 170 beats per minute or more for no reason at all. Sometimes you can feel it in your chest and sometime you can not. Generally it calms down on its own. It can last from a few minutes to a few hours. Beta blockers is what is prescribed.
Having this increases you chance of strokes or heart attacks. My family member is on Flecainide (Beta Blocker and Eliquis (Blood Thinner)
I'm certainly not a doctor nor in the medical profession but I do have a family member with this condition. As I said, it is a very common condition. There are a few treatments for this.
Google Afib and go to the Mayo Clinic web site.
Hope you find an answer.

Extremely confusing and exactly against the flow.
Lost in translation or totally clueless Toyota staff?
The less "bio" (B) the less problems to be expected with older engines.
Since when have you been using B20? It's just a few months that it has been introduced and seems most owners are afraid to use it although it is the cheapest.
Done away? No, introduced.
I bought the truck one year age this month. At the filler neck is a label that says B 20 compatible. Been using it all year until PT (the green station) stopped selling it. I then noticed PTT also stopped selling it. Switched to B 10 but Toyota said don't use it. Don't know about B 7

I have been using B 20 from PT. It is now gone and replaced with B 10. I also noticed that PTT has also done away with B 20, at least in the Ubon area. My truck is rated B 20 is ok to use. Asked Toyota about using B 10 and was told don't do it. Can or will cause engine problems. It could void the warranty. He said use B 20. He didn't seem to realize that B 20 is disappearing.
This is from the European Automobile Manufactures Association. Toyota Motor Corporation: Apart from vehicles fitted with a specific ‘B10’ fuel identifier, all models from brands Toyota and Lexus are not compatible.

Lot of good suggestions.
For me I start to sing to them. I guess it hurts their ears because they turn and run. Come to think of it, same thing happens when i sing at karaoke. 555

Speaking of regulating food deliverers, the Grab guys in Ubon drive crazier then the normal crazy drivers. The more food they deliver the more money they make so they take more chances then normal. We all know how bad bikers drive but Grab drivers are far worse.

Can anyone help me out on finding information on the types of wood here in Thailand? I'm looking for something that is easy to work with. I Googled it but no results. I tried searching in Thaivisa with no results.
Thanks

I was just wondering. If no international flights are allowed to fly to Thailand except for repatriation, emergencies, etc, What are the airlines doing? Flying empty planes to take people out? I realize that they can still bring in cargo so maybe that is how they are utilizing the planes.

I would add that nitrile gloves should be worn too.
You know all the surfaces that everyone touches when getting on and off. Armrests and stuff like that.
And than you touch your eye with your gloved hand.

Just did this last September. Had a 2004 Toyota Hilux Vigo. We were buying a new truck and asked about a trade in. They gave us a price for our truck but the sales lady said to take it to Toyota Sure. Did that and got a lot more money then the dealer offered. Simple procedure.

Overseas? What sea are they traveling over? Overseas means traveling over the sea or beyond the sea. Merrian-Websters Dictionary. If they are really traveling overseas, they won't be coming here.

In Mukdahan there is a pharmacy warehouse named Forte (Spelling may be off). I'm asking the folks down in Ubon if there is one located in the city. I looked online but there was nothing of much help.
If there is another pharmacy that is like a warehouse let me know.
Thanks in advance

I'm due to fly to the U.S. on May 1st. on EVA. They are offering no penalty refunds or flight change. There are end dates to file by. If you select flight change, you have only until December to use it. Now that is as far as today. Tomorrow it could be different.

Three hours ago I received a health alert from the embassy.
Passport Services
As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, U.S. Passport centers have suspended processing and shipping overseas photo-digitized passport (OPDPs) to all U.S. Embassies and Consulates. As a result, adult passport renewal by mail service has been suspended until further notice. Please be aware we will not be able to process any mail-in passport applications at this time. We do still have the ability to produce an emergency photo digitized passport (EPDP) which is valid for one year. If you have an emergency request, please e-mail [email protected] (Bangkok) OR [email protected] (Chiang Mai).
rom the embassy. In that alert it said that
