Went for a visa extension and re-entry permit. Went in at 11:00 and was done by 12:00. No need for any forms. Just copy of all passport pages, departure card and house book and two pictures. One for the visa and the other for the re-entry permit. 

 

Pol Sen Sgt Maj Jindarat was friendly, smiled a lot, joked a little and spoke English very well. 

 

Very pleasant visit.

April 5th I went to immigration at Phibun to renewal my visa. Everything went smooth. The only new item was them asking me for the name of my bank. No account number or amount, just the name which happens to be in the U.S.

If you have to start listing all of the places you frequent, I could see a very very long list.

Today I started my saw and noticed that it was running backwards. Looking at the blade, it should run clockwise. Cutting on the downward rotation. I used this saw and another before with no problem. Same house. The fans in the house all rotate in the proper direction. I am baffled. Any ideas?

The worst road I found is in Mukdahan. It's on the by-pass heading east from road #12 to 212 north of town. Built about one year ago, it started to fall apart a few months later. Patches cover most of the road. The worst is at the beginning off of 12. I always wondered what if anything happens to the contractor. Is he fined or forced to fix the road? Is he not considered for other road building?

I use Tricare. I pay up front then send the paperwork to Tricare for reinbersment. I believe Bomrangrad in Bangkok will file for you if you are admitted overnight.

The only time I seen a tiller was at a Home and Garden show at a university in Bangkok. I wish I would have bought it. Haven't seen one since.

The pump is 7 years old. Ubon is probably the closest place where someone might know about pumps. Right now it's pumping but very little pressure. Thanks for checking.

Hi guys,

I'm hoping someone will know how to do this.

I have a Lucky Star water pump. Model LSC 250 EA. I have tried to remove the electric motor with no success. I removed the four mounting bolts, jiggled the motor while pulling, pulled the motor while prying and then jiggled, pulled, pried and cussed. Nothing worked. It's like the shaft going into the pump is seriously stuck.

Anyone ever have this problem?

Can someone help me find this golf course in Mukdahan? There are some small signs that say "Country Club" with an arrow pointing the way. I took the road off of the by-pass, the by-pass east of highway 12 and 212. A hotel named "The Muk Lagoon" is on the corner. Big yellow hotel. Followed that road north until I came to another sign which pointed left. Got on that road and kept going. The pavement ended, then dirt. Never saw another sign or golf course. I believe this course was started around 3 years ago. If anyone has been there and has the Lat Long co-ordinates, that would help.

Buying with a non Thai CC not a problem

Topping of with a non Thai CC, problem. I used to top off with AIS using a CC from the U.S. Then they went and changed things and now if you use a CC to top off, it has to be issued by a Thai bank. It tells you that on their web page. I called them and asked how I could top off a phone while in the U.S. They said get someone in Thailand to do it for me. Great customer service.

I was traveling on Ramkhamhaeng Rd. when I noticed the foward fuselage of a 747 along with another fuselage and maybe wings laying in a small open field. No sign of anything being done with these. Anyone no why they are there?

My wife attempted to get a new passport about a month ago. Although the office was open, she could not get the passport done because of the protests. I understand that now it can be done.
