just five days ago at the Sisaket Immigration, when I asked for a Certificate of Residence,  the offcials working there said that they do not issue them any more.

When I asked, so who is going to issue the certificate, as I will probabyl be needing one  on my January visit to the Department of Traffic in Phetchaburi (800 km away from us) to apply for the re-issueing of my lost car's blue book,  they said it is not needed on any offices any more, since now all foreigners are registered with a central computer, and the traffic departments got access to these files.

I relented from asking much more, but I have the strong feeling that this was a load of <deleted> BS, it just can't be true.

Now i am sitting here trying to solve the problem.  Going back to the Sisaket Immigration (67km) and ask again, or go to our Amphur with my girlfriend in whose house I live, and apply for a yellow housebook

Hopefully UbonJoe is correct. I have gotten them at Udon before. The first ones were 300 baht, the next time I needed one it was free.

Your immigration office is Udon Thani. I don't recall any reports of them not doing a certificate of residence.

Sorry about the double post. Still trying to figure this new format out. Still cannot get notifications to my email.

    Anyway, thanks for your help.

  3. Once in awhile I get this warning light of a fuel pump (same as fuel warning) with some little things below that do not register with my old eyes. It does not light when the key is turned on. Only when it seems the engine is under a load.

My guess is it is a water sensor warning. The Isuzu cab 4  3.0 has 228,000 km on it. Been through the Isuzu shop for every required service. My guess is it is time for a fuel filter change. Why was it not changed on the service?

    Am I correct?

I took a scoop like yours and did some calculations.  I think you are running about 18%  assuming:

    1.  all scoops have the same volume.

    2.  9% protein for corn

    3. 44% protein for soy beans

    4. 12 % protein for rice polishings

    5.  You are using fine rice polishings (ram On) and not medium rice polishings (rum klang).  If it looks a little coarse and you can see bits of broken rice, you have ram klang.  Ram on is a fairly fine powder. IMHO ram klang is near worthless for poultry.

By my calculations you need about 6-10 % calcium carbonate by mass.  If they are ranging and getting bugs ect then less calcium is needed.  If the are caged and you are going for high egg production the go higher.

    cheers

btw, I got a 3 kg bag of calcium carbonate to try out.

Yes, I am using the Ram On. I have upped the calcium carbonate to about double but according your calculations, I need more. I will up that in the next batch.I have added about 10% more soya. I got a soft egg today. Production has been poor so more calcium it is.

I am new at mixing my own.

    Thanks.

  5. I am feeding chickens and really just guessing really.  Eggs work out well though.

I am making my own feed. 2 parts crushed corn, 2 parts rice ram, 1 part soy meal and just put a fairly heavy dust coating on top and mix it in.  Each 1 part is the plastic pans the Thais take a bath with. Looks like a sauce pan with a handle.

Did you ever find a source for DE. I did from a swimming pool company. 1990 Baht for 22.5 kg. I have no idea if that is good or not but it is ok for me. 2 bags, (50kg) plus 450 for shipping. 2450 total. That will last me a good amount of time.

    Hi

Got the zealite from Khon Kean, in fact I was there to visit my wife's sister at the private hospital and saw this little filter shop. His window display looked good, everything straight and good welds, so eventually got him to do the job. Good job and price too.

After a while the iron in the water started to leave this brown stain on the shower floor tiles. That's what lead me to investigate it. The bore water was lovely and clear until it hit the air.

Anyway, I think you need to buy a couple of those well test kits on ebay. As I said, bit expensive, then you know exactly what your water is.

I think there is also a place in Khon Kean that analyses water.

Which private hospital would that be? RAM or BKK?

I have been told that KKU can do water analysis. I see that pools filters use zeolite. I know one in KK. This smell has been in the water since I started this project 1 year ago. It got pretty good for a while but I think the smell of the water overwhelmed the charcoal.

I have checked the charcoal tank. That water comes from the resin media tank the through the charcoal. There is no residue from the drain.

I guess everybody pretty much expected Clinton to be the Dem nominee, the GOP's had 8 years to get the sh@t together and Trump's their best effort. Sad state of affairs on both sides of the aisle.

Trump is not Republican. The GOP tried as hard as they could to keep him out but ...........

The GOP has not been keeping up with what their electorate want, that is why we have Trump.

Did you read the last paragraph? Geez, and talk about a non-topic.

"We examined the video and tried to find screenshots where Obama's "erection" was most visible, but we came up empty-handed. While some viewers may argue that a bulge is visible in Obama's pants, there's no definitive evidence that the future president had an erection, and certainly nothing to suggest that he "flaunted" his manhood in front of female reporters."

Don not quote Snope's on anything political. They lean so far left I am amazed they haven't fallen over yet.

I did see the video. My observation is that it is fake except for the pose which is rather flaunting but given his narcissistic tendencies, it does not surprise me.
