  1. Igor I accept your apology but perhaps I was wrong to write this posting. I think I do not understand how forum works and should not have said anything as I do not knowabout numbers and other points about forum. So perhaps I was wrong ,so as you are man enough to apologize I will do same and I am sorry. I am not saying mr. 37 did anything wrong either but I admit there are probably things about forum I do not understand.

  2. It is bad when someone asks a legitimate question and looks for help and gets sarcastic, stupid comments instead. What is even worse I think is when someone takes their own time to try to help someone with question or problem and gets a nasty response or sarcasm in return. Even if information provided by the one who is trying to help is not exactly what OP is looking for, the decent thing to do is say thank you for going to trouble to try to help. I think it is commendable people on forum try to help strangers they do not know, but if this kind of thing happens too much, pretty soon no one will bother and it will be end of this forum.

  3. Now that I have been going to the Thai massage place regularly, the pain in my back and legs is much, much less. I do not understand this, however. I have herniated disk, which is a bone problem. I thought massage was mostly for muscle problems. But point is I do not know how or why this works, but it does. I know this is not one of cases where cure works because person believes it will work, because I did not believe it would, only went because my wife kept insisting it would help and I just wanted to keep her quiet and plus I was in enough pain I was willing to try anything at that point.

  4. glad it worked for you Zippy. I felt the same way as you but I went back next 2 days and she did it whole different way second day than first and felt even better plus not painful while she was doing it seco nd day. What I could not understand was she touched places on back and knew that these were where herniated disks were without me telling her, but when I went to hospital they could only tell after MRI. Then doctor told me to just lay in bed for a month which would make me crazy for one thing, and plus I had more pain from lying in bed than from walking around.

  5. Not only did I fail to give directions but gavee wrong price. I went back today and price is 120 bt/hr. for Thai massage. 80 bt/hr for foot massage. 250 bt/hr for oil massage. Telephone number owner named Marisa is 0852849118. Sorry once again.

  6. Yes I am sorry about that. I found out while I was writing this posting that I had to go somewhere immediately and could not give directions then but I had intended to ASAP. The place is on Maejo-Sansai Road on left side heading out of CM. It is first building in row of shops right before Wawee coffee. It is 3 story bldg. Right side of building is in driveway to Buathong muban. There is pink colored sign out front in Thai. First floor is a bueauty salon and massage is on second floor. You can get foot massage at beauty salon or body massage on second floor. Thai massage is 150 bt for 1 hour. They are very friendly and will give you coffee or tea while you wait. Open 8am-7pm.

  7. I never really cared for or believed in massage but lately have had serious pain in back and leg from 2 herniated disks in back. I have not had too much relief from doctor or medication so today I went to massage as last resort. Lady who did massage was middle aged woman who has been doing massage she said for many years and is instructor at massage school in Chiang Mai. She could tell where my injuries were without me even telling her, and did massage much differently than other massage I have had. It was not painful at all for one thing and she even did massage on point in foot which caused pain in leg to go away. After massage I have less pain than I have had in months and it was not even expensive massage as it is Thai place. Sign is not even in Englsih. I definitely will go back and suggest other people suffering with pain give massage a try.

  8. As a retired prison guard, I am defitinitely in favor of death penalty. I never met one who wasn't. I wonder how people who oppose it would feel about death penalty if it was their family who was murdered. Actually, if someone killed or raped someone in my family, they would receive death penalty anyway if I found them first, and I would deal with the consequences. One thing is certain, whether or not death penalty is a deterrent is debatable, but one thing is certain. The killer who gets executed will definitely be deterred. As far as life in prison, I worked with female prison guard who was killed by this animal in prison who was doing life for killing several people before.

Also, for the person who say to compare crime rate in US with other countries and this will prove capital punishment doesn't work. Apparently he hasn't really done this himself. Just spouting the usual propaganda, as there are many countries with higher crime rate than the US.

However, even though I support death penalty, even I do not think it should be doen for ecology to save animals and trees.

  9. it is not smart to give people the finger on the road but it is also not a reason to kill someone. This country has death penalty and this is a case where it would be definitely justified, in my opinion. As for the guy with the semi-literate response claiming that the guy got what he deserved from the "boys", either this is a troll posting or someone who is not in a position to ever judge anything that anyone else does as stupid.

  10. Don't know if this is helpful, but I also used to get severe headaches. Went to doctor, who told me it was probably from high blood pressure. Recommended I not eat at restaurants, which I used to do all the time. I also noticed headaches worse after eating. I started eating only home cooked meals without salt or MSG and headaches stopped. Blood pressure lower also, but due also to fact I lost 20 kilos , exercise regualrly and take medication. However, I would suggest maybe just having her limit intake of salt and MSG and see if that helps.

  11. You do not need work permit for volunteer tourist police. There are also many people here who do volunteer work without work permit. It doesn't appear this is enforced very much but technically is illegal.

  12. The existence of God is proven mathematically as there is no possibility that the universe could exist coincidentally without intelligent design. There are many experiments carried out in the field of quantum physics which demonstrate that consciousness and reality are interconnected, and that God is at least probable. In my experience, the people I have met who are most upset by the concept of religion or God are people who have the most to lose in the end if they are wrong. It is no use arguing about it anyway, as everyone will find out one way or another in the end.

As far as missionaries and Christianity, the Christians do perhaps more good works in this country than the Buddhists do. Nothing against Buddhism as I think it is a beautiful religion and is much like Christianity in many ways anyhow. But as a whole I believe the Christian church has done more charity-wise that Buddhists, but to be fair they also have more money.

  13. Greetings. I am owner along with wife of beauty salon and massage in Sansai. Someone suggested that it is common in their country at beauty salons and such to use these places as source of information regarding problems affecting women and children. if anyone in forum is involved in charity or organization which deals with women and children's problems such as domestic violence, HIV, child abuse or such things, I will be glad to help distribute pamphlets or notices at shop. Just send PM and I will arrange to pick up. Thank you.
