  1. Surprised that an International company like Paypal would support such discrimination and don't even see what they want in Thailand as Thai's won't be using their services which such high commission rates unless they start taking 0%. What about those Digital Nomads they were bosting about not so long ago? Most get paid through Paypal.
  2. So looks like Cannabis is attracting bad people even when legal. Some will have you believe that's a myth.
  3. Big PR campaign going on before they release any details of the crime.
  4. "safety windows and doors to be installed" What use is that going to be? Better take the guns off cops and soldiers who don't need them especially the private ones they have at home.
  5. Promises today will be soon forgotten! Remember the Army promised reforms after the shooting in Korat but nothing happened apart from arresting some whistle blowers for coming forward with evidence.
  6. Thai's always seem to make it public how much they donate as they want everyone to know they are good people. Even at temples they announce on loud speakers how much each person has donated.
  7. So seems it's true what CNN claimed they were let in. I have to admit all Thai officials ( Civil Servants) in their uniforms look like police. Also there are plenty of graphic pictures and videos on social media inside the building so who made those pictures?
  8. Perhaps they were refused a Press Visa or it just takes too long who knows but I guess they had their reason's.
  9. Go search social media there are plenty of photo's and video's inside the building and even of dead bodies so someone was letting reporters in or probably just not stopping them. Also why did they only have Tourist Visas is so difficult to get a Press Visa or maybe it takes too long? Personally I don't think they wanted international press snooping around and so weren't giving out Visas.
  10. Thaksin's War On Drugs was very popular in 2003 as many people were being Killed, Mugged and by drug dealers and drug addicts and drugs. But seriously don't think it's going to the right policy now even in Isarn Pheu Thai's home turf people are Ganga crazy. Funny why so many foreigners here defend drug abuse.
  11. Seems a bit strange to me maybe they were asking too many questions? Wasn't the murderer a cop being prosecuted for drug trafficking wasn't he? and that's not usually a 1 man job. Why was the barrier down when they went in with other reporters inside but up when they came out and then someone was waiting to photo's? And why was Big Joke put in charge of the case?
  12. Yes thanks they based the number 2000 on the original article by AFP but after AFP retracted the article they didn't update their information. What they don't tell you though is that before the war on drugs about the same amount of people were being killed by Drug Dealers. So were all those people killed by Cops or were some killed by Drug Dealers?
  13. I believe 2500 people were killed in Thailand during a 3 month period during the war on drugs which was higher than usual I think about double. The Press I think AFP then claimed they were extra judicial killings but hey had no evidence and later retracted their original article. Many Human Rights organizations condemned The War On Drugs based on the AFP article but never retracted their claims after AFP retracted their own article.
  14. There's more going on here than meets the eye but this is in international news and damages Thailand's reputation so there will be a big cover up for sure. Not long ago since the Korat shooting. Why is it always cops and soldiers killing people in Thailand. Very sad.☹️
  15. Yea I remember maybe they didn't endorse it but many members said the Junta rule didn't effect their lives here so they didn't care about it.
  16. Thai people voted for the current Constitution in a national referendum allowing for the Senate.
  17. Maybe could to have something to do with their support for Russia and China?
  18. Yea but they endorsed it by voting for it and making it 100% legit and so impossible to remove.
  19. Bad day for Thai people? Thai people only have themselves to blame as they voted for the current constitution and even voted for this government so no sympathy from me any more.
  20. Naa Thai's have very short memories and only care about what they will eat today not even tomorrow all they have to do is sack some corrupts officials as scapegoat's and they'll be in power again.
  21. I am sorry but Thailand really does have the PM and government they deserve and I have stopped caring because they voted for it!
  22. I have no doubt the constitution drafters working for him had no intension of this law applying to him and I guess that's what the Court will judge. However if he had any honor he would have stepped down to avoid what will follow.
  23. I agree that Cannabis should be legalized for medical purposes and even recreational use if people do it in private without disturbing others. I don't agree that people take big Spliff's down to the beach thinking they are cool and boast about it on social media. When young people see it they will also want to try just to look cool and I don't think smoking anything is good for your lungs. There are other ways to take it apart from smoking but they just don't look as cool.
  24. Well I used to smoke but gave it up and I do understand your argument but don't agree that's all and so now you say I am stuck in a groove?
  25. Well I don't really agree and that's just from my own personal experience most people I know who started smoking Pot also tried stronger drugs.
