  1. Bangkok Gay farangs bashing!

    Yesterday I saw this post.

I capture it to email to someone, can not remember where from now….

    Here is the post again.

    just find the link :

    /gayboythailand.com/bangkok-thailand

I am not gay but if I see a scene like this I will surely go to help. These bunches of monkeys (Wairoon gangs) are becoming more common today. Thailand is changing fast, and in a bad manner: old value like respect of elders, animal, diversity, handicap are all gone a latent racism is also coming out. I assisted personally this viles threatening old people, dogs etc...

a decent lesson from the police could help....

But sorry, one question: what are doing gay people there? Is is a spot for concregate between themselves or something? If so they better change for another place...If happen already few times it can happen again. :)

  2. Gadz Zeus, when they went down, they went down in a fireball. Sure they didn't have some shrunken heads, pirated Jane Fonda videos, and a psychedelic toad on them also?

And 7 passports? If having multiple passports is a crime, then Thaksin could be the poster boy for that.

Very funny: Quentin Tarantino could be inspired for a new movie.... :)

sometimes reality is more weird than the fiction!

  3. I really don't see the point of this.

Do they seriously think that by issuing free tourist visas it is going to increase the number of tourists coming to Thailand?

Firstly, how would any potential tourists even know that the visa was free until they went to apply for one. It's not as though the news of this wonderful freebie is going to be plastered all over the press, radio and TV.

And secondly, once they goe to apply for said visa, they have probably already booked their holiday or their flight, so the fact that it is free will no no way influence their decision to come here.

If this is the best idea they can come with to boost tourism, then they are in for a lean time in the coming months.

Sad but true. Too difficult for this bunch of monkeys to understand anyway.

  4. 499 grams ? sounds like a a range to me and maybe she was just under. Shame really , half a kilo of that stuff will send hundreds to their graves and many more family's destroyed. Oh well she will have time to reflect next 25 slow and miserable years :D:D

Outside of politics we need Thaksin to handle this scum. Thais cant afford the jails to take care of this vermon. Didnt he do a great job with yabba dealers!

It's people like you and Thaksin that makes great this world!!! Up Thaksin and the thai Police!

    :)

  5. Only a complete idiot would act the way he did. Can't feel sorry for him even though the sentence is rather harsh, in fact it is rather funny.

Problem like this should be solved directly on the spot, apologizing if the subject is not proven guilty and arranging for his airplane or is accomodation, and even a compensation.

This is how civilized countries normally behave.

Also the behaviour of his embassy his "remarkable", as they had to promptly contacted with the immigration to clear the things on the spot. (It seems that even in England, as in Thailand, there are 1 and 2nd class citizen...).

If the subject has a rude behaviour normally is detained in a cell in the airport for 2 or 3 hours, the time to check if the passport is real or fake.

If you really things that somebody deserves to stay in a place that violate all human rights for 3 weeks for beeing rude to an official, so maybe you can accept many other infamous things of this country as normal......

Wish you all to never have problem in this "country" as they can grow from very futile reasons, and lead to the consequences that all we see in this open air sanitarium called Thailand.

  6. I would like to advise you anyway that the maximum period for a contract is 3 year. If you want to have it for more you can put a clause where is said that after the 3 year you can rent it for another 3 years etc...

Otherwise as to be legally registered and the owner as to pay the tax, that is one month of rent, plus a percentage on the rent fee for the stamp (very cheap indeed)

  7. I am in need to find a proper lease-contract.

I initially had a 1 year contract at my new place here, this period now expired, and the contract itself was actually crap anyway. my landlord and me are now looking for a good, fair lease-contract in english that does comply with the law in Thailand.

is there anything online that I can download ( a pdf-file, for example). or where can I get one ? english only, or both english/thai, both would be fine. thanks

The only one I found is this one. Hope it can help:

  8. A_Traveller's reply seems to cover micksterb's question very well but following on that thread it appears that some of the criteria needed to obtain a firearm has changed over the past few years. My wife purchased a hand gun about 8 years ago. She was neither 35 years of age at that time nor did she have a million baht in a bank account. She did have to supply a "character reference" from her Kamnan though.

Can you be more accurate in describing that "character reference"? How is it call in thai? Where she can get that? Only in the village where she is registered?

  9. This does look very ' Mafia ' Style Killing, but far from anything the Thai Mafia would do...

Maybe this is russian??? ... but if anyone has seen a close up picture, russian men are easily identified....

Also the face looks russian. I have the same impression. Cruelties like that are not tipical of Thai mafia, it ca be done more probably from russians....

The writings are very cryptic, and is almost sure that isn't a english american or australian....

  10. Koh hong and around is the place. Go there with a longtail boat and a sparegun and you will get a lot of fish for a nice barbeque on the beach. Line fishing near rock islands in the early morning and late afternoon is also very productive.

The area is national park as well so you don't see thai fishermans around and the coral reffs are still in good condition, as they didn't do bomb fishing as in Ao nang or Koh Lanta....

Koh Tao and Koh Phangan used to be also very beatifull.......

  11. The problem seems very complicate. If you are really motivated with the girl and want to go deeper in this you should talk with somebody that deal with this issues everyday.

I know that the Salesian Missionary in Doi Saket has a lot of refuges in there that work and studies there.

Eventually, the priest apply for have citizenship for them, as soon as they are grown and ready for go into society and have a decent job, without being enslaved with black labour, prostitution etc... (it seems here a normal practice, expecially from thai-cinese people).

I would go there and ask of Padre Terio Tapay (wich I know personally), and see if he can give you an help you or redirect you somewhere.

    good luck

  13. Anyone has experience doing this ?

Can a foreigner buy thai stocks ? Can you open an account online ? or must you do it in person.

Once you have an account, can you trade online or do you have to go through your broker ?

And how do you pay taxes on gains, if any. what rate ?

I'm interested in investing/buying some thai stocks (listed on Thailand's Stock Exchange). Would appreciate any information anyone can provide. Thanks.
