I fear guesthouse will say a full house with no foreseeable vacancies is what it's all about!
Rather appropriate at this time of year.
Guesthouse - The innkeeper
NongKhaiKid - The infant
Naam - One of the 3 wise men
Village Farang - A shepherd
Transam - A choir of angels
No virgin this year.

Well, it's also going to be fencing for him, at the next paralympics.
Or the parallel bars.

Many news channels now reporting that the German police say they have arrested the wrong man and that the perpetrator remains at large and could repeat the atrocity.

Just read the OP again. I have a couple of those Hatari fans, ceiling mounted, outside the house. Yes, they should be rotating anti-clockwise, blowing air downwards. Just wondering whether reversing the Live and Neutral cables would correct the problem.

I have 7 ceiling fans. All have an option to reverse the direction of the fan. Some (Compass East brand) have a switch on the side of the fan itself. Others (Starlight brand) have a switch on the remote control.

The first time I visited my wife's home town (Surin) some family members were horrified that we had booked into a hotel and they offered to let us stay with them.
Very diplomatically, my wife explained that I needed my AC and hot showers - so we politely declined.
An aunt, who was headmistress of a local village school, insisted that we should use her car (Isuzu pick-up) for the whole time we were there, which was very generous and must have been some inconvenience to her.
My abiding memory of that visit was that whenever we went near to the village all the youngsters we passed would give us a deep and courteous wai - recognising the headmistresses car, but not noticing the Farang driver.

Am I missing something....why not just buy it new if it is available and cheaper?
Waiting lists for some vehicles can be very long.

My mother has been sending packages here for over 30 years and I've never once had to pay customs anything.
She used to send all my kids comics and presents at least every month. Also, birthdays and Xmas.
But, this year she has said it is too expensive to send stuff and is going to stop in the future.
Can't remember which TV member recommended this website, but my family in the UK has used it several times to get the best prices for deliveries to Thailand. http://www.postagesupermarket.com/discounted_postage_from_UK_to_Thailand.php

Will be an expensive chocolate bar and packet of crisps.
The ol' mother means well haha.
I thought gifts of less than 1,000 THB value were exempt from duty.
Anyway, next year tell mother to send the biggest bar of laxative chocolate she can find. Then, when customs ask for the duty, tell them they can keep it.

OP needs to give a bit more information.
As far as I am aware there are plenty of people willing to pay well over the "new" price for certain used cars. But these cars are usually in the super car bracket.

I stayed there for a few weeks about 15 years ago. My overall impression was quite positive (I was not expecting 4* accommodation).
There were two nice pools, one with a restaurant, a hairdresser, massage, and places to buy daily consumables.
Very easy to get to and from the shops and entertainment venues of Pattaya.
Yes, plenty of working girls living there but I did not find that to be a problem.
Of course, things could have changed a lot over the years.
I would guess that there are plenty of apartments for rent and fairly cheap. So my advice would be to rent for a few months and visit as often as possible to get a proper feel of the place before deciding whether to buy.

That is a great suggestion.
Only one candidate has responded so far - Village Farang - I think the others will struggle to compete with him.
