I had 280 ,50 pound notes , that ,money exchange's ,Banks ,would not exchange over the years , because of writing on them ,as they were been taking out of circulation , I got to cleaning them up, used vinegar and washing up liquid , took some time ,but finally got them where they looked OK to me, took them to exchange and was relieved that they changed the lot. Had a problem once in Indonesia ,had Thai Baht ,not in the best condition, none of the exchanges in the malls , shopping centres would accept them, I was directed to a small exchange who took them but at a discount. If bringing cash into Thailand always make sure it's clean ,no writing, no tears, it will save you hassle , funny you give them clean notes ,but give you grubby Thai Baht........ regards worgeordie

They should, but you just don't see them around, while driving in the UK years ago now ,you could bet if you did something wrong ,there would be a patrol car there to stop you. You have to wonder what the parents are thinking ,letting their kids drive at that age, and I bet they had no helmets on, cannot mess the hair up regards worgeordie

I disagree with you there , If I had not done that years ago I , i would most likely have nowt today. bought very cheaply after the bubble burst , and interest rates began to fall , they all paid for themselves , through renting, so they are now assets that owe me nothing, now I would not do that today ,property too expensive , less Farangs to rent long term. regards worgeordie

Just heard that Promenada Mall has closed permanently , it's been on the cards for quite some time ,there were too many malls here so no big loss. regards Worgeordie
