  1. interesting video, harry kane's body language said a lot, first up the tunnel for spurs, focused look on his face, "we can win this game" expression.

eric dier, also gave off a feeling of "lets do it" by his body language

vaughan kompany, looked motivated but some of the others not so much, it looked like vaughan was trying to herd cats

    loved the video

I liked the bit at about 8 mins when Dier was actioning that Toure was too mouthy biggrin.png

  2. We are not spoiling anything ..........Leicester will have won the title long before they play us. Only one tricky game for them in there next 6 fixtures with no other distractions Watford away imho.

what a load of cobblers. laugh.png

Want to elaborate on that then???

    But's there's 12 fixtures to play facepalm.giffacepalm.giffacepalm.giffacepalm.gif

Thucckk me i thought there was only chas and dave that ventured on to this forum from the North side of London............try this one numb nuts...... IMHO as stated......with me so far..........no difficult fixtures for Leic in there next 6 games..........er thuccking go not the same for u the arse or citeh....get it now

Well it's no good speaking just speaking about the next 6 games when there's 12 to play or do we have to guess your prediction for the following 6 games facepalm.giffacepalm.giffacepalm.gif

  3. ^ Englands 100 % qualifying record for euro 2016, at the very least puts doubt in your 'argument'. Personally i reckon England under hodgson will do well in the euros. Then Ideally i'de like a younger English coach to take over. Slightly Tongue. In cheek.,,,, but its a Shame tisdale the exeter manager turned down swansea. Cos he be perfect,, Maybe the bournemouth boy,,, probably. A touch early for him,,, pardew has been touted,, who knows.. But just hope like the.players have to be English so should Imo be the manager .

and everyone thought they'd do well under the chinless gobsh*te in the last world cup too.

anyway, enough about that walking abortion that is hodgey in the liverpool thread thanks.

So now your telling everyone what they thought? and then YOU spout even more nasty currently unsubstantiable Crap about a guy who's currently doing a decent job .and ,, then tell all it cant be challenged because its off topic ,, and who took it their?!!! And since when has been talking about one of your ex managers "off topic ' ?

he ISN'T doing a decent job. he's a charlatan, same as his employers. he should have been sacked after the last world cup and would have been were the FA even remotely fit for purpose. england got schooled by one of the weakest italy sides in memory, got battered by uruguay (population 3.4 million) with a 25% fit luis suarez and then ground out a magnificent 0-0 draw with mighty costa rica.

i don't even know why i'm having this discussion to be honest. and shut up about the moderation soft lad, not every comment posted is meant to be taken quite so literally.

For my guide, what is a soft lad please ?

    • Mauricio Pochettino has proven he can be ruthless and get results
    • Tottenham look a team that can win the Premier League under Pochettino
    • Decision to sell Andros Townsend says he won't carry any passengers
    • Pochettino has prioritised the development of young talent in his team
    • He's said that his players are now daring to dream about winning the title
    • Daily Mail

Spurs have the youngest average starting 11 in the PL and Poch has spent the least since the Summer 2014, that's amazing, i never knew that biggrin.png

  6. Can't blame the ref or lack of video replays.

A video replay would not have awarded the penalty and a video replay would have shown Aguero to be on-side which was wrongly given off-side. The resulting free kick led to Spurs second goal. Ironic really, as Spurs where given 2 clear off-side goals by Clattenburg in the game at WHL.

Now that you've hopefully calmed down bj lets have a serious discussion about this :

    a. Even if Arguero was onside he wasn't in a goalscoring position.

    b. The resulting free kick did not lead to a Spurs goal, in fact after the free kick was taken Toure ran away with the ball only to be tackled by Dembele who in turn laid it into Lamela.

I have now watched it on 4 different TV Broadcast's.

Cth and Astro with the same commentary whereby the commentator and co-commentator said, "extremely tight" "margins as fine as that"

BBC no mention of the incident

Sky, Nial Quinn ( ex goon, ex man city) said it was level.

Of the post match discussions not once was the incident mentioned on any of the above, now i deem from that that either the decison was correct or if it was incorrect then the broadcaster deemed it in irrelevant.

So for you and Bein to conclude that it was definitely offside ( Bein being an Arab broadcaster) i am going to have to accuse both of you being bias.

The reason i asked about the camera being in line is because the way i see it on calls as close as this it is impossible to call unless you / Camera are directly in line with the players,, which in this case they were not.

Did you find any pics of the incident by the way ?

Some pics that show Aguero offside, bj's tv screen must be a bit wonky biggrin.png

  7. current top four to finish as the top four. leicester to win it as they take 25 points from their next 9 games and it's enough to see them home.

An drop only 2 points, Absolute no chance.

The one big thing Leicester have in their favor is no european and cup games. However, theres a way of playing them as i've said before and play them right and you will take points off them.

if they take 25 points from their next 9 games them congrats to them but they won't.

Even if they do, what's to stop the chasing 2 getting 27 points and City getting 31 points !

  9. And still hasn't answered the question cheesy.gifcheesy.gifcheesy.gifcheesy.gif

    And neither did you.

Alfie, I'm begging you, please put me on ignore. Unfortunately I'm not allowed to put anyone on ignore.

Your coming across as pathetic bj, i asked you a simple question at the beginning which you didn't answer ! you then give it " And neither did you" and then you go on about putting on ignore, why is that ?, your getting more childish by the minute, grow up.

Footnote : i actually asked the question twice before you asked me anything.

Leave out the name calling please.

ok, when you answer the question biggrin.pngbiggrin.png

  11. Was the camera in line with the players ?

Well the 3 replays it showed on BEin sports all showed he was on-side and the pundits all agreed.

As expected you didn't answer my question, just a yes or a no will suffice.

Tell you what Alfie. You saw the replays I presume. Did you think the linesman got it right or wrong? If you think he got it wrong, fine, we both agree. If you think he got it right, I will invest in the time and try and find photographic evidence

And still hasn't answered the question cheesy.gifcheesy.gifcheesy.gifcheesy.gif

  14. Congrats to Spurs. Abominable penalty call but the bottom line has it that Spurs are a hungrier team at the moment and earned the points.

Apologies to Smokie for not meeting up but in hindsight a good decision.smile.png

You'd obviously heard the score pre-game from Mystic biggrin.png

  15. Great win but a bit disappointed we didn't play better and that we lacked a bit of composure, suppose you can put that down to the team being so young.

    Players aged U24 used by Top 4 in 15/16 PL - (1) Leicester City - 3, (2) #THFC - 12, (3) Arsenal - 5, (4) Man City - 4

  16. to that. We hope you get hammered.

Plenty of time to win the league anyway.

unfortunately for the record, i don't think you will get hammered because Wenger, as did Pochettino, will have worked them out.

Might still happen. Arsenal have blown lukewarm and cold for a while happily.

I think they will beat Leicester. Wenger won't allow them the wide open spaces down the flanks and will nullify their breaks

I dunno, Leicester were impressive in tearing Manchester Dhabi apart. We'll have to be on our toes.

The last game will be interesting, too.

Shame they had to sandwich a meaningless mid table game in the middle.

Probably have a snooze while that game is on laugh.png

  17. Alfred and Carmine - who is out for Sours this weekend as a matter of interest?

Yep we have 1 first teamer out against your 3 out, anyway be interesting to see the value of the team you put out against the value of our's even with all your injuries whistling.gif

So which "1 first teamer" is out, and which "non-first-teamers-but-players-in-the-squad" are out?

Value again. What are you, an accountant? Who cares.

Well Spurs probable team would have cost approx 89m, just Arguero, Otamendi, Sterling, Fernandinho and Toure cost you 168m so with that quality in your team your worried about 3 first team players being injured cheesy.gifcheesy.gifcheesy.gif

Here's an interesting stat, if City were at full strength and were able to field 2 teams, the second team would have cost approx 150M pounds so the 7 injuries excuse sounds even more pathetic whistling.gif

How can be know if that is fact or fiction? Please provide the list of the 1st team and 2nd team players showing their respective purchase price so we can check the maths. Otherwise it's fiction. Get on with it!

Iv'e got a spare 5 mins so no worries.

1st team : Harte, Zabaleta, Otamendi, Kompany, kolarov,Fernandinho, Toure, Sterling, Silva, De bruyne, Aguero

    2nd team and prices : Cabalerro 4.4m, Sagna free, Mangala 32m, Demichelis 4m, Clichy 7m, Delpth 8m, Fernando 12m, Nasri 25m, Navas 14m, Roberts 11m, Bonu 28m

    Total - 145 M Great British Pounds coffee1.gif biggrin.png

  18. ^"younger players but strangely enough your club doesn't seem to rate any of them, which is a shock considering how great your academy is whistling.gif ."

Top of my head, youngsters that have come through to the first team this season are: Nacho, Angelino, Besant, Evans, Humphreys, Barker, Garcia...some debuted, some bench.

The point is, generally a youngster breaking through will not be as good, initially, as an experienced international, will he.

Fark me we've gone through all this before facepalm.gif anyway i will repeat myself,

Nacho hasn't come through the academy as you bought him when he was 18 Y/o but good try, of the rest of them, not one of them has made a start in the first team not even in the Easy cup, 2 havn't even come off the bench.

In fact i can't see the point in mentioning Evans because he doesn't even play for you anymore so i don't think he'll be getting a chance soon not unless you buy him back of course cheesy.gifcheesy.gifcheesy.gif

Take Nacho out if you want, no problem. If the question was about City kids who've come through this season, I've named them - point is City have brought kids in despite some on here trying to argue we haven't. Now don't go moving the goalposts because Evans has been sold on.

The question wasn't about City kids who have come through this season ! you seem to make things up as you go along facepalm.gif
