I have never entrusted this to an agent for the reasons you have clearly demonstrated, plus it's an unnecessary cost, it's easy enough to do on your own. Anyone who says you can't do this on your own doesn't know what they're talking about. I've been doing it for eight years. Thousands of people do it on their own. You search out the requirements online, download necessary forms from the immigration website. If there are any errors you can just come back the next day and correct them. You can make an appointment online 3-4 weeks in advance. Rather than keeping a small fortune uselessly parked in a bank just for this purpose, why not use the income method of showing 65,000 baht per month deposited in your bank? Do you not make at least that month? To reiterate what has been said, if you get this in your country it will be the O-A with insurance requirement. If you convert here in Thailand from the tourist visa you get the O. On the other hand, most agents get the job done without any mishaps, and if you're not motivated to do the work there is likely a reliable one somewhere.
Did you read the OP? He already tried to do it but can't as the funds were not maintained for the preceding 12 months. So he is going to use an agent. Oh, and whilst he could get an O-A in the UK that wouldn't be wise, but he could easily get a single non-O there rather than converting here, then extend.

No as I said earlier this was my first renewal and the original 12 month extension to the original 90 day non-o visa was issued on the same day as his 800,000 deposit into my newly opened account. So officially the visa should not have been issued in the first place since the 2 month 800,000THB before application rule was not adhered to 🤷♂️
If you have any intention to go back to the UK any time soon then just get a non-O there, come back and extend. If not you will have to use your agent again. But if you do that next time you should be OK to do it by yourself provided you keep the money in the bank for 12 months (or actually 800-400-800).

I think you'll be fine to come back in and convert to a non-O. Or maybe even better don't bother with a tourist visa and apply online for the non-O whilst in the UK - that way avoiding a trip to CW as well as avoiding any onward ticket nonsense. Ought not be any issues with your finances as all in place now for the initial extension.

From which page, the "home" page or the individual chat's page? From the home page the only option on clicking "Search" is to search contacts, from a contact's chat page, clicking the search box gives no options, just the flashing cursor.
My reply was referring to WhatsApp and mine opens in Chats from which search will look for whatever you like across all the chats. I don't see a "home" tab, unlike in Line.

Interesting. How?
Just click the search icon and it gives options of what to search for, one of which is 'Photos'

WhatsApp will search all chats for pictures and then show them all in date order. Might be of some help.

I think it's probably the best day of the year to drive anywhere. Anybody going anywhere is already there. But of course that will all change on 16/17th.

@Danielsiam steve187 got it correct. If still the same, on entry form, there is a blank to fill in visa number, leave it blank, and you'll enter on 'visa exempt'.
I did this by accident, as I had a marriage visa, and wasn't paying attention. When I went to do my 90 day exit/re-enter thingy, IO told me I overstayed 2 months Huh ... no prob, and corrected without incident.
Just leave it blank ... but ... make sure you use your visa, before it expires, as they used to have expiration dates.
There is no entry form any more.

You can enter up to the expiry of the visa and get 60 days, so if you wish you are good until early August, a 30 day extension could then be obtained.

He will (or he might) receive ban either way. Why airport is better? Just out of curiosity
Probably because it's better to be banned on a plane going somewhere you want to go to rather than at the border in Cambodia/Laos.

So ....I had to book my flights June 1st to June 30th ( 30 days) so I can extend once I'm there ,...then it will cost me money to change the flight return date to July 15th once I'm there with the extension
Did I do this wrong ...please tell me if I'm stupid???
You don't need a return ticket, only an onward ticket. So, you could have booked a cheapo throwaway ticket to Phnom Phen within 30 days OR book a fully refundable ticket to anywhere (Malaysian to KL for example) OR a cheap rent-a-ticket. But seems you have already made the booking so any information now will only be of use next time.

Strange. I booked a hotel on Agoda, in Thailand, yesterday and used a UK based MasterCard debit card.

Aren't some (all?) offices requiring a TM-30 to extend a visa waiver?
Yes, some certainly are, CW for example, although not consistently. Best have one just in case.

The 2 entry limit is by LAND. By air there is no such limit although questions will be asked if continuous entries are made with little time out of the country. I think she is out of time to get a visa from Phnom Phen, No appointment is needed but it takes 3 full working days according to their website and the soonest she could apply is Wednesday 16th, therefore collect on Monday 22nd.
She could go to immigration on 17th and apply for a 30 day extension, I think they will overlook the overstay as they were closed. She should have gone yesterday of course but that's history.

It's not a normal MasterCard! It's processed by TPN (Thai payment network) and has many problems because of that. All the Bangkok bank debit cards are similar.
Ah OK. But I'm guessing it should work like any other MasterCard but the TPN thing may cause it not to?

Thanks for that link. I saw my cartoon card on there, and it explains in more detail. Apparently, it's a mastercard
debit card. I don't care to use it, but I was hoping to buy the digital audio workstation from a Belgian company online. The site mentions BIC, not SWIFT, so, maybe I'm out of luck.
Thanks again for the reply! 😉
Why do you think you can't use it? It's just a MasterCard debit card, nothing strange about it (apart from the cartoon characters). Presumably the Belgian company doesn't accept card payments only bank transfers? That is more a limitation on their part rather than a problem with your bank.

TM30 asks for details of your visa and entry into the country. Only your passport will have this information. Having said that I am not sure all this information is always completed, I certainly have TM30's with missing info.

Thanks @Sheryl for your advice. I do have a letter that will probably suffice, and can access earlier test results which I can print out. Is it clear what test I am looking for from the simple description given? Any recommendation for a good hospital/doctor to go to in Bangkok?
-
I need to try and get a Electrophoresis blood test done to report my serum Paraprotein level to my haematology consultant in the UK. Last year I had a raised level of 8g/l together with some symptoms that caused the ongoing monitoring to be advised. Whilst the level did go down and the symptoms have subsided I'd still like to get this done. Am I likely to be easily able to get this done in Bangkok without too much problem, and presumably the eventual result would be understandable to a UK doctor? I don't want a new investigation started, just the blood test.

You need to describe better what you have but in any case it will be possible to use it online but you will probably need to get it authorised for online usage first. Bangkok Bank 1333 might be a good source of information.

re entry permit, tm 30, 90 day report
in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits

90 Day resets the day you return. No need to do it until 90 days after your return date. It is simply a report that you have been in the country 90 days.
TM30 does not need to be updated as you have returned on the same visa/extension, presumably to the same place. Some offices however might have a different opinion, TiT.
