that's for Wheelchair users? who would believe toilet doors would get us all going? lol
And it is a reason decent people design their places so they can be used.....or do you believe wheelchair users do not like to visit as others do?
the principle is the same.....small spaces need the door to open out or slide so that access is not obstructed. Kicking the door in does not work if someone is collapsed against it. Those minutes could save a life.
Many building codes now require it. Once they did not but times are changing.

"Pivoted doors should open outward unless sufficient space is provided within the toilet stall. "

I hope they arrest her and anyone else that tries to enter the temple or refuse to leave. It may not be politic to arrest a monk but a few thousand lay persons would not cause a problem. I think if they all got a year in jail for refusing to leave...and more for assulting the police there would soon be few people left.

Why not consider a toyota van.
Parts cheap and service available. Repairs cheap. reliable.
Conversions for accessibility are available off the shelf in the form of a hydraulic wheelchair lift (safeway in chonbury).
I have a vigo which has a wheelchair hoist but I wish I had bought the van.

If it is the dell popup....and he bought it in the US it could be worth registering using a VPN to do so. It is then possible to pay a supplement to transfer the warantee to the country he wants to use the warrantee in.

A few years ago I looked at the Kia Carnival. It was available with some special accessibility options...wider door. Power seats to lift people into the car etc. It may be worth talking to the dealer about what is needed for you.

You may find it easier to wait until her 20th birthday when she is an adult.
Sometimes the ampur can seem as if they have been taking too many lessons from Yes Minister.
on second thoughts it could relate to the legal age in her country of nationality if it is not Thai.
As you have not told us which nationality it is hard to help you.

Accessibility standard suggest doors for toilets especially should open outward. The reason is if someone collapses in the bathroom (surprisingly common) it is much easier to open the door with a body against it when you do not have to push the body out of the way. So lives are potentially threatened if they open inward.
Most building codes now incorporate this for all bathrooms and now just ones for people with disabilities.

Flying into Australia
You can purchase duty free items:
- at the last airport you stop at before entering Australia if the duty free retailer provides a gate delivery service
- onboard the last leg of your flight to Australia
- upon arrival at an Australian international airport.
http://travelsecure.infrastructure.gov.au/onboard/taking-duty-free-items-onboard.aspx
If you take delivery of the bottles at the store they will not be allowed to board.

Lots of instructors have wished the could get out of the aircraft the way the student flies. This one did.

I have worked out the "Financial Flow-chart" and shared it with what I thought were appropriate people both foreign and Thai. It really didn't take many sessions of sitting around Imm all day watching the action and talking with a few people. The retaliation from CM Imm. told me that I was probably accurate in my assessments. A portion of the fees you pay to all visa agents go to CM Imm to "grease the wheel". As I mentioned in the Imm. Prom. thread, now hospitals are denied free access for medical extensions and are told to use G4T.
Even small time operators, like a Thai lady who owns a restaurant and helps maybe 2 or 3 expats a month do their retirement extensions has been "called in" and had the "system" explained to her by CM Imm, what portion of her fee is suppose to go to them and if that portion is higher than what she currently charges, she is advised to raise the fee to her customers.
The one "enhancement" they've done recently, is to permit visa agents, at least the bigger ones, to obtain "appointments" rather than having to send out staff to sit in the queue at 5 am.
You indicated one of your reasons for leaving was that the CC had thrown in the towel by saying they cannot interfere with custom. What did they say about the fact that it is illegal for a person from the US, Australia and the UK among others to make facilitation payments....and they can be prosecuted in their home countries if they do. An example at a high level is Rolls Royce and its facilitation payments but the same laws and penalties apply.

There is always an aura around "the police being always right and telling the truth" in every country. If you can't trust the police...........
But be serious. Are you really trying to suggest the 43 British police forces are comparable to the BiB ?
THey are getting there slowly

Thank you Jim for your kind email. No we're not leaving because of the cretins on this forum. Actually, as you said, it's kind of fun swatting at them. And stirring up the snakes in the pit with a sharp stick. They won't crawl out from behind their keyboards to do any harm, after all. I doubt any of them will show up at the alleged CM ThaiVisa gathering on Feb. 22 anyway.
NancyL I would like to thank you for what you have tried to do. You and I may have clashed a few times here but I know you have done a lot to help people in this community and it is not just your need to be a focus point. (sorry but it is honestly how I have seen you.) I know from what you have tried to do that you are a nice person and I am sure you will be missed by many in Chiangmai (but not by Immigration).
I wish you the best of luck in your second home and remind you that you can always make a third home in Chiangrai.

You raid a go-go bar, and a short-time room at that, to see 'what was going on'? What did you brown clowns expect - an English teacher telling bedtime stories to a group of kids? Idiots.
That was after when he was interviewed downstairs.

Just close down the Information sharing for one day....Trump may not notice as it seems he does not listen but the US military and security system will....and he will not get far without their support.

As was said at the time. Turkey made one mistake with saving Kibris. It stopped before it reached the sea on the other side. UN were sitting there in their pretty blue bonnets saying all they would do was watch while Greece launched its final solution to elininate the Cyprus citizens of Turkish origin. Ah well the blue bonnets were so sweet.
