Until now I thought the only thing a French person did with horses was eat them. Though I do seem to recall some fuss over Bardot and some people hiring Donkeys to ride.
I do feel sorry for her though as any person who has set up a life here as she had must have a lot of people she cares for here.

Sorry harrry ... what hidden votes ? Choice was one of the above or none of the above in the first poll, second poll just one of the 5 .... there was no hidden option other than NOT BOTHER AT ALL vote ...
vote that were declared not valid and hidden in the way moderated posts are hidden.

How do you suggest the disgruntled make their feelings known in any meaningful way? Gather? Not in groups more than five. Set up a Facebook page and click 'like'? No, off to the slammer for that too. A televised debate? When Hell freezes over, perhaps. So what options are out there?
My post relating to the hacking of the computers.
Their expression of it is another matter which is covered by the second line of my post.

Hacking others computers even the Governments is or should be a crime. Crimes have consequences and those who do it should only do so if they are prepared to pay the price.
Protest is fine and talk should be free. I like a free internet but this in my opinion is not a way to get that.
If on consideration they are willing to pay the price however they have my respect even if they are illadvised.

Toche
But in that case the correct thing is for the candidate to stand aside and let others decide on the merrits, not argue a case, possibly a statement of what he/she has done to be granted the award and then leave it to others.

Whilst I can understand but not condone a quick smack this is abuse. It should mean an instant arrest and court case for the teacher. The parents though for accepting this need to be also investigated as accessories to child abuse for condoning it.

Well look in my case, I fall out with someone and all they talk about is shit, nufink to do with someones year long TVF input....
PLUS the shit comes from a multi banned member....
But if you do run for an office....and you definitely were running you can expect scrutiny and revelations, ask both Clinton and trump. The only restriction should be if it can be shown that the accusation is false....not that the person making it is not a nice person.
I personally do not like cross forum slagging. I can however see how this comes about.

You got that straight from the horse's mouth.

Gee, I thought it was more.
Still, I can understand those not wanting to be submitted to a lot of the crap that's been posted.
Maybe for next year, all nominees have to email the mod running it to confirm their acceptance.
I'm sure there were a few that were not even aware of being nominated.
As an award and not a Position I am not sure that acceptance of nomination should be required. It is an Award posted for the Poster of the Year...not for the Poster of the Year That Accepted Nomination.

Maybe the deleted posts could be made available in Bedlam

Yes got very hot exercising and then went into his air conditioned office. Sure way to a cold....

It is the time of the year poster's true colours show. Those who want to top dog and those who are.

To all candidates in next year's poles...May their chads not hang.

Congratulations to Naam, condolences to transam, and my sincerest appreciation to all who voted for me. Once again I feel lucky to have come in third, on the podium but out of the line of fire.
Some are bad shots VF... :)

A new Pope gets elected quicker.
Can you imagine what would happen if all the POTY candidates were put in a locked room together till the vote is done.

We look forward for some exciting posts and I am sure Naam's dogs and staff did not vote.
Seriously a good and well deserved win,

Why is it not recommended there. What do they do instead?

QuoteIn 2006, the American Red Cross revised its protocols on how to treat a conscious choking victim. It replaced the HM with back blows, citing there was no evidence that the HM was effective.

I also taught my tgf that same thing. Hope she remembers. Time for a practice run
You would find that Australians do not know how to either. It is not taught in First Aid courses and is not recommended there.

The court will insist on letters being sent if address is known or advertisements in his home country.

Just go to any of the little stores you will find in or near shopping centres of Pantip. The will change a battery for most cars for round 100 baht for a top qualiity one or less for a cheapy battery. (go quality). If you fgo to the dealer you will pay that in dollars.
-
If you refue them they will be sent back eventually and the sender then can recover the charges for handling storage and sending them back from you.
$55 does not seem unreasonable duty and handling and sales tax. Delaying adds storage at a high rate too.
Importing goods does have customs charges (probably about 50% for that kind of good and you are liable for GST on the total of the Shipping and goods.

OK not arguing as I agree that part was well handled. I did not know if the software would allow the votes to be removed with the poster or not.
