And most nutrians hype up theoretical evidences before clinical studies have proved anything.

"Dr" Campbell seems to be more on the fact side than other famous nutritians. So he is a god reference to check out compared to many others in my opinion

"Dr" Campbell always uses plenty of references to clinical studies

Yes, many Europeans didn't want the U.K to leave the E.U. , they wanted us to stay and did everything possible to stop us leaving . Some E.U citizens wanted free entry to the U.K and others are concerned about an E.U dominated by Germany and France

They thought that playing hard ball with the Irish border and not compromising and coming to an agreement would force the U.K to remain in the E.U.

The Irish border is a minor issue in comparison to Brexit as a whole

If there is no border between the Irish Republic and the UK part of the Irish island ...then the UK remains a hidden member state of the EU

5000IU plus a centrum pill that had "100% RDA Vit D" over a very long time 2 years plus..it was higher back last year...10,000IU in Europe.

Many doctors speaking on Youtube on this subject think that there should be no problem up to 50.000 IU of D3 a day but human beings are not computers and everybody is different. I play on the safe side with 2000 IU of D3 a day when I noticed that my blood analysis of 25(OH)D indicated 22 ng/DL - although in theory enough to avoid serious health problems - I decided to get this increased to more than 30 ng/DL (I combine D3 with 100mcg of Vit K2/MK4 to divert formation of calcium to the bones and not to the heart or the blood vessels)

Cleveland Clinic in the USA is a good source of information

I actually came off D3 just now...had symptoms of overdose....bone pain etc...between sun and good D3 food I think that is enough here vs overcast northern hemisphere climes.

Interesting but in this hot climate I stay 100% in air conditioned rooms or areas which explains that many Thai people, except may-be the rice farmers, have low D3 levels.

How many IU or mcg of D3 did you take daily ?

I'm surprised nobody on this forum has mentioned that most vitamins, when taken in excess, simply excrete from the body through urine or whatever.

NOT Vitamin D.  It is one of the very FEW vitamins that can be toxic, even fatal.

Vitamin D3 is in fact a hormon which is stored in the liver : it can be toxic with a dosage of more tha 50.000 IU or 1250 mcg a day /  look at Youtube what the UK Dr John Campbell says on this issue....he is providing his sources and not selling you anything / in one of his video he says that he takes 2000 IU a day and that is why I do also but I combine it with 100 mcg of Vitamin K2(MK4) to divert the produced calcium to the bones and away from the heart and blood vessels                     (49) Vitamin D dose - YouTube

The vitamin D3 content is very confusing for the layperson. It reads: Vitamin D3 (100000 IU/g) 1.68 mg. (or 168 IU per capsule). I mean, I take 1000 IU per day in a single tablet. So what 100000 IU/g and 168 IU mean in the same sentence, I have no idea. Maybe there's only a super-low dose of 168 IU contained in the product?

If someone's reading here who's switched on to all these measurements, please let us know.

I am not a medical professional (but I graduated in astrophysics so that I can read reasonable well medical science) :  if you take 1000 IU of D3 per day in a single tablet you should be OK / after a lot of reading I am taking 2000 IU a day combined with 100 mg K2/MK7 to direct the calcium produced by D3 to the bones and not to the heart region/ some people prefer to take 5000 IU of D once a week because D3 is stored in the body and that is also reasonable / I would not dare to take over a long period 100.000 IU of D3 per day because according to the famous Mayo Clinic it can be toxic  /  https://www.mayoclinic.org/healthy-lifestyle/nutrition-and-healthy-eating/expert-answers/vitamin-d-toxicity/faq-20058108#:

But the same people don't make the connection between anti muslim extremism and wearing of crucifixes. I'm not saying there is a connection, merely pointing to the absurdity of the of the connection. Any excuse to justify bigotry.

When I lived in Pakistan long time ago, I did not like local women to enter the swimming pool "fully dressed" without taking first a long shower : indeed those dresses can contain a lot of pollution

  8. Are the co-owners of a condominium also loan sharks?

I live in a condominium where too many co-owners fail to pay on time their common fees but when the Juristic Person Manager finally goes to court (as is his or her legal duty) the judge considers the interests (penalties) of 12% and 20% allowed by the Thai Condominium Act Section 18/1 as interests imposed by a loan shark.  The allowed penalties are reduced to 5% without consideration for the fact that the condominium degrades because lack of money for maintenance.

    QUOTE

Section 18/1 In the case where a joint owner fails to make payments set forth under Section 18 with the prescribed time, such joint owner shall pay surcharge at the rate not exceeding twelve percent (12%) per year of the amount unpaid without compound interest charging provided, however, that this shall be in accordance with the requirements set forth under the Bylaws.

A joint owner with an amount in arrears under Section 18 from six months and upwards shall pay surcharge at the rate not exceeding twenty percents (20%) per year and may be suspended from receiving common services or using common property as set forth under the By-laws including the non-existence of the right to vote in the General Meeting.

Large supply of wax earplugs from Boots!

I can only write my experience but it happened in 1989 after our marriage in Belgium

    1) city hall issues a copy of the marriage certificate

    2) Foreign Ministry in Brussels legalised this

    3) Belgian Embassy in Bangkok legalised the above

    4) we got a translation in Thai language by of professional Thai company

In 1989 the Thai Immigration still accepted this

    5) it could be that now a legalisation of the Thai document has to be done at the Thai Foreign Ministry at Chaengwattana

    The OP stated.....

"What i am hoping to do -- Is to retire in Thailand on a Marriage visa -"...

He is just using incorrect terms.

The word retirement should not be in his OP.

    Nor should "marriage visa".

He wants a Non O based on marriage and a 12 month extension based on marriage.

You are right : a visa is a permit to enter the country issued by a Thai Embassy or Consulate which can then be "extended" every year at a local Immigration Office in Thailand.

My Thai wife is preparing all the paperwork but as we live not too far from the Immigration Office she goes every year 2 or 3 weeks before applying for an extension to this I/O in order to get the latest set of papers.

As OP is still in the UK he should take care to obtain a copy of the marriage certificate (if the marriage took place in the UK) and if possible get it legalised while still in the UK so that it can be easily legalised at the Thai Foreign Ministry (where there is also a translation office)  Then get the document registered at the local city hall before using it at Immigration Office.
