This is a greater problem if the younger generation has to work "husband + wife" to secure a decent income.....and without social welfare as in most EU countries.
In the old days each household had enough children to have a few available to take care of the older generation but this is no longer the case.

Are these poor buffaloes living in the wild ?
Or is their owner who cannot afford to feed them?

I read in previous cases that - after being caught - the snake was then released in the nature : I cannot understand why such dangerous snakes are not killed.

Not many people may know why Islam follows the food rules of Judaism (kosher/halal) except for alcohol : the Jews were drinking mostly wine but my guess is that the Arabs were also drinking badly distilled moonshine (methyl alcohol) which is poisonous and can cause death or blindness.
It explains why verse 4:43 seems to assume that drinking alcohol was accepted while the later verse 5:90 strongly rejected it
Quran 4:43 “Do not approach prayers while you are drunk.”
Quran 5:90 “O you who believe! Intoxications and gambling, (dedication of) stones and (divination by) arrows are an abomination of Satan’s handwork: so avoid it that you may prosper.”- 1

Eating fish is a very difficult way to get enough omega 3. Farmed salmon may or may not have Omega 3 levels depending on whether it was fed on fish or soy pellets. if you must eat fish then Mackerel (small blue and silver (Paa saba) has the highest levels and is the most cost effective fish.
l looked at this and realised to get meaningful amounts i.e. 1,000mg/day i had to buy capsules.
I can read that you too did some internet research but I concluded that poached salmon was an excellent additional source of omega-3
I concluded that Omega-3 capsules have good absorption in the body ONLY if they are re-esterified. Then the capsules become expensive but I still import them.
According to many sources 3 oz (85 gr) of salmon deliver 1.8 gr of omega-3 to the body and this as much as 2 expensive re-esterified capsules deliver.
It is obvious that there are still many open questions but I am going to take - as before - 1280 mg capsules daily and eat 3 times a week 3 oz of poached salmon : by mid May I have to see again the cardiologist who wants my HDL to go up and my triglycerides to go down. By that time a new lipid analysis will show the result.
Mackerel delivers also omega-3 but many sources report you cannot eat it too frequently because of the mercury content
-
I am going to start eating salmon to decrease my triglycerides and increase HDL
The fresh salmons I buy is in packages of 300 gr
I would like to cut it in 3 pieces of about 100 gr and after poaching eat them every 2 days.
Does somebody know if poached salmon is OK if kept in a refrigerator 2 and 4 days after I ate the first portion?

Yes, and when she turns 70 years old she will get 700 baht per month and if she is lucky enough to hit 80 years old she will get 800 baht a month as so on. But you have to remember a lot of Thai's don't pay any taxes.
Yes how to pay a pension to people who never contributed a satang to a pension fund / I paid in my EU home country for 40 years from age 25 to age 65.

What is they are selling now in the "traditional medicine hospitals" is called Ganja oil and is not more effective than snake oil ...that why my Thai wife got it for free as a treatment against pain from a rather unqualified person in a government hospital.

yes but I am surprised by the positive comments given by some of the buyers

I would like to buy a cheap tablet to transfer from my smartphone all the photos stored here since several years
Now I find on Lazada a tablet and I wonder if a member of the Forum can explain why it is so cheap. I need it only for very occasional use but I am attracted to what it offers.
Does it really have a keyboard ?
What kind of operating system does it use (I still have on old but unused license for Windows 7 and I don't care if it is no longer supported by Microsoft)
Can it really connect to the internet ( 5G LTE and GPS) : do I then have to buy a SIM card?
Can it connect to my router ?

It makes me think of those people asking you to pay for the release of a bird (to make merit) / but can they then catch them first without loosing merit?

If in Bangkok at Bang Sue. Book on the Dtac vaccine website (I found that one to be most user friendly) and I think you can do walkin at BangSue to get a booster.
I tried to book via Dtac for a booster at Bang Sue on 23 January (I got the last AZ jab at Bang Sue on 30 September) : I was refused with the pretext that I do not fulfill the conditions set by the Ministry of Health and I do not know why

6 months ago was 26th June 2021, Outside of Bangkok and Chonburi, there were no vaccines available for foreigners. I know because I was being told "only for Thai people". ☹️
Yes my Thai wife was accepted for a booster registration but I was refused because I was a foreigner .....is this because foreigners are immune and cannot infect other people ?

I have no clue how to get registered for a booster : the available options I checked were already fully booked

I took this stuff for a while, found it made me forget everything I watched on the tv for the hour before bed.
Very interesting it may partly explain why I feel since 5 years problems to remember names or what I looked on TV one hour earlier etc...but I am also 78 which is another factor ..my memory problem did not become much worse as some people with Mild Cognitive Impairment should expect ....but since 5 years zolpidem makes me sleep very well (I take 5 mg before going to bed and another after waking up between 3 and 4 a.m.)
Is it worth getting a second COVID-19 booster?
