Yikes! I have to subscribe to the Post to see the supposed imposter? As far as I'm concerned it doesn't exist. : ) It reminds me of a trip I made to Cambo. I wanted to show my photos to my Thai friend of many years. She refused to look at them even though this handsome foreign devil was in many of them. Such is the animosity that many Thais feel in regards to Cambo. She definitely would not want to see an Angor replica in her country. Who is building this nonsense and why? I guess someone expects to make big money.

I think I misquoted the dollar equivalent. I think it is $20 million. 40% of $20 mil is how much? I have raised my hand even higher. 5555 -
Huge prize money to FedEXCup players…it is insane!!!!

Nice, she gets the money and can still compete. I'm sure she trains hard. Yes, now even college players can get revenue from things like name ,image, autographs. If the individual state the athlete is playing in passes the law the NCAA is cool with it. California just passed a law that puts them in play sooner than they had passed earlier. Afraid other states will attract the premier athletes sooner. The rush is on. 555 -

The compensation for an NBA player has reached $50 million per year. But pay for teachers is peanuts and we can't afford universal healthcare (US). I had to laugh when an NBA player, who was making something like $12 mil a year, said he switched teams to get about $15 mil a year because he had to take of his family. I could only assume the poor family was living in squalor. -

I may be mistaken but I remember reading that he got his money because a cop apprehending someone who acquired assets in an illegal manner gets 40% of the value as a reward. How do they get money when they confiscate recreational drugs? They wouldn't sell them would they? So who gets the 40% of the cop's $2 million? Hint: I have my hand raised. 5555 Of course just as that high government official explained away his dozens of expensive watches by saying he borrowed them, maybe Lambo, er Ferrari, borrowed his assets. : ) Then who gets the brown envelope?? -

My bud and his lady are itching to take their first trip to Thailand. Obviously they would like to see the Grand Palace, temples etc. Any indication these will open when the shopping malls do? -

Thai Elite ?s for American's

Yes, that's part of what I was interested in. I have someone I would get out of the P.I. and was wondering how you and your friends were able to do it. I was hoping something magical like an Elite visa would help. I guess not. -

This is confusing to me. You say it shows you don't have to be married but then say your friends were married. What am I missing? -

Why do people think it important to put Americans in their place (as they see it)? With as many people as America has there are always going to be idiots. Never from your country though. You are lucky. Always is a big word. Do you really mean always? So always from America and never from your your country. What country is that that has no idiots? I want to move there. That will put one there. 555 -

Chinese Embassy Bangkok: Sinovac it is NOT a low quality vaccine
elgenon replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
I thought China itself said they would produce a mRNA vaccine similar to Pfizer and Moderna. What happened to that? Plus I would think that announcement flies in the face of what they are saying. -
I was only a little tired the day I got my shots. Both. Now Shingrix. I had fever, chills, noises in my head, hallucinations etc etc. Worst night of my life. Also two shots.

Don't have a link and you could be correct. The effect was to get people who didn't have experience with credit in a debt situation they couldn't handle. -

My memory could have failed me but I remember it as easy credit. Thais also used it on motorbikes. Yes, for first time buyers. Excise taxes are for imported goods aren't they? This program was to stimulate the economy so domestic manufacturing would be important.
