Now you know how to ask for it, just try the local moma and papa shop. Mine sells them in rocks for I think 40 Baht a kilo - last time I bought them. That was about a year ago, and the kilo was just so I could give most to friends and share the love! Most people aren't even aware of them and end up with stinky chemicals under their arms... I am alum salt crystals all the way and my pits smell perfectly - of nothing much!

It sounds mean, but I only want a small amount of MDF To build a centre speaker cabinet with (just 4 x 4" wide range drivers in a row, so not large). Does anyone know where I can buy half, or even quarter sheets?
It's not so much the price (although cheaper is good!), as not wanting to store the leftover 90% of a sheet for the next how many years until I find a use for it.
All ideas much appreciated. Thank you.

Panic over, you can all relax now, lol
Just as an FYI, we got a 2 month old bitch flown to Chiang Mai from a "verified breeder" in Udon Thani for the princely sum of 3,800 Baht including the flights, vaccination card (first one done), a nice food sample for the changeover, a proper plastic carrier box, and even with a little jacket on - full kudos to the attentive seller, who even included a nappy style bedding material to wick the pee pee away!
That's got to be the best value bitch in Chiang Mai...
I can share breeder details if anyone is interested.

Oh dear, it looks like a wuff job finding one locally...

Does anyone know where I can find a Miniature Pinscher puppy in Chiang Mai?
I can see lots in Bangkok on websites, but not in Chiang Mai...
I have been looking at http://108dog.com/miniature_pinscher.php?version=mobile
Is there anywhere else I should be looking?
Thank you for the help! ?

One method that maybe worth trying, is to purchase about 10 light weight aluminium or metal medium size washing up bowls and place them above the ceiling. These bowls will absorb some of the heat.
Terrific idea, perhaps one of the all time best on Thai Visa. I am already filling my attic with metal bowls. Does anyone know where I can get another thousand?
That's the best laugh I've had in a while! Why not put large heavy chunks of cast iron up there, or clay bricks? They could absorb some of the almost endless supply of daytime heat and re radiate it at night ensuring a more even roasting! Lol

How the hell did you come up with your child rearing strategy "We have raised our kid very much the Thai way where anything goes and there is no discipline or direction or guidance...just do what has to be done hour by hour and see where it all ends up."
Jeez, what did you expect....

They should just get on and close it... It does nothing anyway, save the money!
OR, make it useful again!- 3

I have seen them in the Big C quite a few times. They are in liquid in a plastic bag usually in the refrigerated area.
I thought they normally came dried, but I will check that out. Thank you very much for the lead!

I would like to try these super low carb noodles; they sound very interesting. Has anyone seen this product in Thailand, ideally Chiang Mai?

Hi fellas, I am PS3 only (pretty much only play GT6 at the moment), and JAF! You are right, my wheel isn't for PS4. Lazada doesn't currently have a wheel that works on PS4.
Happy to provide assistance to anyone making a rig. I'll take some better photos and share some dimensions sometime soon!
Let's see if we can get this Facebook page active. Please post stuff on it!

I only got my PS3 for GT6. It is a fantastic racing game, especially with the Logitech G27 wheel I just bought from Lazada here in Thailand. Anyone fancy an occasional meet up and race on-line?
I just made a DIY racing pod too - loving it! I've attached a photo; just to show off a bit, lol.
I've also set up a Facebook group that might be useful in getting people together. If you are interested in getting together online go to the Facebook group "Playstation Online Gaming, Thailand (English)" and join us... This is intended for all games, not just racing!

My car came with Maxxis. Horribly noisy tyres... I would never buy them. I am trying to wear them out so I can change them!

I would pay more for a farang car than a dealer car if the farang bought it new. I'd know where it came from, could form an opinion of the farang and how he lives taking care of other things, and in general be more comfortable about what I was buying.
A couple of years ago a lot of cars were flooded. They should have been totalled, but were they? There are often floods in Thailand where cars are flooded. What happens to them?
Buying a used car is always a gamble but I wouldn't buy from a Thai tent.
I'll be there again. Lots of lovely food and coffee last time, as well as the bargains. Breakfast awaits!

The poor little 110 will make it, but on the steeper parts you would really appreciate having at least a Click 125, or better still something like the Yamaha Nouvo 135cc or PCX 150cc.

Great if you want custom mods, a hot rod built, etc. He's busy doing that kind of work and not really interested in fixing your rattles or replacing your clutch. Use him for the funky stuff!

I love my Miniature Pinscher; she is remarkably smart, loyal and protective.... Having had many dogs of all sizes before, I've found her to be perfect for my life here. She isn't yappy, but is a good little guard dog, with "full body " barks, and she would surely die to defend our family. She just doesn't know that she is tiny! And I'm not going to be the one to tell her and shatter her Doberman illusions... ?
She does, however, love comfort more than any other dog I have ever had the pleasure to know. She loves a nice cushion to sit on - even on top of the sofa. I think there may be a princess and the pea thing going on here... Lol.

Is this a yolk?
I love their claim that supply is lower than demand! Hmm, no queues for eggs around where I live...

With those interest rates it is just legalising loan sharking... They should look at how low-cost community banking schemes work elsewhere. I was involved with one in the UK where both lenders and borrowers were from the local community. It creates local responsibility and care.

I always appreciate the incredible accuracy of Thai government members' forecasts - a 24% increase in tourists planning holidays indeed!

Actually, the main racing starts at 4pm today - so still time, if anybody is interested... (and they sell beer!)

Just sharing the love here. I have no interest in Chiang Mai Speedkart, other than going there yesterday, loving it, and finding the young Polish guy who owns it, and his wife, to be lovely people.... and deserving of getting more business.
So, disclaimer over...
Yesterday, I organised a group of us on a Stag Do, to go karting for the afternoon, and it was the most fun I have had with my clothes on for AGES! The place is quite handy for town, not far from the night safari, and has some plenty "fast enough" karts to race in. As well as the rental karts they have many members with their own crazy fast 2 stroke karts. They were on the track while we were there and they are mad to watch - power sliding around the faster corners, and with phenomenal acceleration.
The fast karts is why I am posting. Some of these fast guys (including the fastest Thai kart driver in the country) will be there racing this afternoon from 12pm. I don't know when it will end; I think just a couple of hours of friendly racing. Anyway, they sell beer and soft drinks and I will be there at 12pm if any one on the forum cares to join me - I am the incredibly handsome guy with more hair on my chin than on my head! Free motor racing to watch, and believe me, this is not playing. They are fast as hell, and hardcore racers...If you fancy having a go yourself, the walk-in price of 700 Baht for 10 minutes is a bit steep (but the time is plenty long enough - this is hard work!), BUT, you can do what I did and buy a years membership for 1000 Baht. It is then only 350 Baht for 10 minutes. You also get the right to buy tickets for friends at 400 Baht a pop, with the caveat that you buy in blocks of 10 (4000 Baht). The good bit is that you don't have to use all 10 on the day - they are valid for a year.
All in all, BLOODY WICKED! I went yesterday and am back today... Happy days! Fat old people welcome (that's a Thai Visa member dig, by the way... )
