  1. Forgot, this will really make you laugh though l cried. Via the mrs l tried to explain l wanted the repaired tyre/wheel re-balanced, difficult to convey so l pointed to a balance weight on another wheel, hey presto, all understood. The guy went and found the old weight he pulled off, looked for the dirty mark on the rim where it came from and knocked it back on, l looked up to the sky and didn't bother going further with it. They had a balance machine and all the gear. When l go for next service at Toyota l will get it sorted.

That's so funny, but true, its like the thread wheer a guy put his hand on a wall and said he wanted it painted red only to come back later and find a 5 inch square hand sized part of the wall only painted red the rest of the wall as still white

  2. And yet another idiotic moron gets allowed to post.

Moderator warning: Please review forum rules 1 and 4 so you know not to make posts like that in the future.

Sorry HH, but posters like him make my blood boil, I politely give some helpful advice that seems to work for me and someone like that who seems to go looking to cause aggro basically tells me I'm talking rubbish. It won't happen again - least without good cause anyway.

Being helpful means giving out facts, not hearsay, how would you feel if many people bought what you use and found it to be useless as a lot of people clearly have done and received refunds from various countries? Dubious claims from manufacturers all unproven, if they worked dont you think every shop and warehouse in the world would have them?, pest controllers would be out of a job, they aren't.

HERE don't take my word for it, like what you want me to do with "your word" take the advice of a Professor who is an expert on this type of device in the link below.

There is no aggression here except yours, my first post on this has NO aggression in it it merely states a fact. Because I dont agree with what you post it seems you dont like it.

  3. We live to the west of the town in Nong Korn surrounded by pineapple fields and scrubland, some of our neighbours when walking their dogs often see everything from very large pythons to cobras and a few other wierd and wonderful looking ones but not lost any animals yet. We have a Koi pond in our garden which of course also means we probably have more than our share of frogs and toads but strangely we get few snakes in the garden and I don't know whether the fact that we have an electronic pest repeller in the house has any effect on snakes, certainly have only seen just one rat in the garden in 2 years since installing it, and very few of the multitude of creepy crawlies are seen either. Perhaps this repeller is doing an excellent job and might be worth your while considering.

These electronic repellers do nothing its a myth plenty of info on google etc and other threads.

Who rattled your cage this morning then with an aggressive response to an old posting.

They seem to work very well for us, very few snakes despite an abundance of food while my neighbours certainly get more of them than us, one rat seen in 2 years and only stayed for one day and very few other creepie crawlies are ever seen. If you don't think they work then don't buy one. SIMPLE.

Do a bit of research............... or keep believeing in fairy tales, good luck!

I dont "think", I did some research, thats the difference but hey you keep believing.

  4. So looking at this "if" I save currently i will get little interest I may lose a fortune in currency swings and the state will pay me almost nothing when i retire later so "what" should I be doing, "where" should I be putting any spare cash?.

Theoretical for me, I bought some real assets a long time ago which i can sell later, something real not some paper promises.

  5. The unit is only considered booked when monthly payments for the deposit are being made. The unit is not completed and no transfer of title can be made. You can say that at this point, you are paying for the booking papers and some very expensive brochures.

As an example, lets say a condo cost 4.3M baht. Reserve = 50k. Contract signing = 100k. Down payment over 9 months = 200k. Special Installment = 80k. So before someone moves into the condo, a total of 430k baht is spent. During the 9 monthly payments the unit is considered booked.

So a speculator cannot sell the condo until after the unit is completed (no transfer of title)? I thought it might be an advantage to sell before a bank loan is needed.

Browse around Prakard.com and you will see flippers selling their bookings within a week a new project is launched...

Which flipper will wait out for title transfer?

Ones with "flippin " small brains or "flippin" big ba**s!!:lol:

  6. I think it is kind of normal in dealing with strangers. One thing you can try, ask them to confirm on the morning before the expected appointment, making it clear, no confirmation, then you won't be there.

We always send them a text to confirm and if no reply we dont go.

  7. Yes this is 100% normal, or often they will say they couldnt make it they were "busy" after you have waited outside a BTS station for 20 minutes.

Yes we love meeting these <deleted>****s.

  9. Villagefarang I resized a few photos hope all is good ... the house is made from a lot of wood but I wanted to build something with a bit of thai style rather than the concrete style that has become very popular lately. Don't worry I have planted a lot of tree's to compensate <IMG class=bbc_emoticon alt= src="http://static.thaivisa.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif"> .<BR><BR>post-110750-016582700 1280378100_thumb.jpost-110750-067671000 1280378104_thumb.jpost-110750-022476500 1280378122_thumb.jpost-110750-041783800 1280378130_thumb.jpost-110750-044752800 1280378140_thumb.jpost-110750-084303000 1280378164_thumb.jpost-110750-007173700 1280378737_thumb.jpost-110750-062688800 1280378704_thumb.jpost-110750-088198500 1280378728_thumb.jpost-110750-075439500 1280378191_thumb.jpost-110750-079007900 1280378740_thumb.jpost-110750-085879100 1280378208_thumb.jpost-110750-013717100 1280378219_thumb.jpost-110750-098315100 1280378223_thumb.jpost-110750-078810200 1280378228_thumb.jpost-110750-050131400 1280378233_thumb.j

Whilst I really like these types of building I always worry about on going maintenance, just keeping it looking good in Thailands sun would be a nightmare.

  10. Stop slandering Thai people. The vast majority do not drink and drive and they do care if others are drinking and driving.

Stop slandering Thai people. The vast majority do not double park and they do care if others are double parking.

    lol ?

even robo and transAm have admitted that Thais don't give a dam_n about double parking.

They do they just dont like to say anything, anything to avoid confrontation, you just think they dont give a dam_n

  12. If someone decided to not watch where they are walking and gets hit by a car being pushed, why should I care or feel bad?

You might as well not drive at all TransAm. You never know when a motorcyclist going the wrong way and talking on his cell phone will end up under your bumper. In fact, by your logic, it is immoral of you to even be out on the road because of the chance that something like this might occur.

We live in hope that the person hit is you :lol:

  13. you guys know that the car is in neutral and you can push it out the way, right?

can your pregnant wife move a navara then? funny aint it gufffffffffffffffffaw

What kind of lunatic lets his pregnant wife drive around, shop and park alone? Why not hire an assistant/driver for her if you won't do it yourself?

As for the other nonsense about someone else walking by being struck by a car being moved out of the way, that is hilarious! How about, everyone makes sure that they look where they are walking and where they are pushing cars? Problem solved.

Enjoy the walk to your car, :)

The same kind of lunatic who doesnt understand the double parking problem? <_<

  14. For those saying Thai only park when double when there are no spaces its not true. I just came back from the local carefour. Plenty of free spaces further out in the parking lot.. but close by all double parked. So it has nothing to do with full or not.. has everything to do with easy and lazy

Correct Thais only know one place to park and thats right outside the entrance to any shops, usually plenty of spaces available 99% of the time farther away in THE SAME car park but that requires the use of legs and brain.
