  1. If you are fully vaccinated there will be no test needed. You will only need to complete a form.
  2. You should looked further down the page. In the one you are probably reading this which means you must be registered in a house book a nd that can be yellow one. "House Registration Certificate (Thor Ror 14) that proves incontrovertibly that they have been permanently resident in Thailand for not less than 5 years" "3.2 Applicants with direct personal ties with Thailand, such as those married to a Thai citizen, those with children who are Thai citizens, or those who graduated from an institute of tertiary education in Thailand should have an income of not less than 40,000 baht a month supported by a letter of confirmation of monthly salary/income and must show evidence that they have paid tax for not less than 3 years; or they should they should have paid personal income tax of more than 50,000 baht per year for the 3 tax years prior to their application for naturalization"
  3. Look at last few pages of that topic and you see that most people that have applied for it the past few years are married to Thais. Download this file: Guidelines and documents required for application for Thai citizenship by naturalization
  4. That info is way of date info. Since the nationality act was changed in 2008 those married to a Thai you do not need to have PR to apply for Thai citizenship. I suggest you look at this long ongoing topic. dbrenn's story of Thai citizenship application
  5. You can get a work permit and work with a non-o visa entry or extension of stay based upon marriage. You could apply for permanent residency as married to a Thai with you current extension and only need 50k baht of income. If married to a Thai you can apply for Thai citizenship with 40k baht of income without getting permanent residency first.
  6. If on a entry from a tourist visa you would apply at the Chaeng Wattana office. If you entered visa exempt it done at the Muang Thong Thani office.
  7. There is already other topics about those emails. Please continue the discussion in this topic. This topic now

  9. No The rules for a STV state it cannot be changed to another category of visa. Which would be a non-o visa for retirement.
  10. You do the 90 day report up to 15 days early that includes the report date in the count. If you have applied for a extension at the office where you will be reporting all you should need is you passport and a completed TM47 form. Download: TM47 Form Fillable.pdf80.13 kB · 2052 downloads
  11. It does not matter who the developer is. It is immigrations website so it is their responsibility to keep the certificate current. Over the years immigration has failed to renew their security certificates more than once for their websites.
  12. It is not the first time immigration forgot to renew the security certificate for its secure sites. It will be taken care of within a day or two.
  13. The 7 days to leave the country will not be done unless you pay the 1900 baht fee after your application is denied. If a person entered the country and applied for a 15 day visa on arrival and paid the 2000 fee for it they cannot apply for a 60 ay corvid 19 extension. Only those that entered using a tourist visa or a visa exempt entry can apply for the covid 19 extension.
  14. There certificate expired yesterday. . It is not the first time immigration let a certificate expire. You can go on the site if you want to.
  15. Immigration in Bangkok will not issue a certificate of residency unless you are doing 90 day reports to them. A confirmation of address and a certificate of residency is the same thing.
  16. Of topic posts meant to deflect the topic by bringing a offtopic discussion about getting vaccinated or not.
  17. You only need to prove the insurance when applying for a Thailand Pass and a check of it when the verity your covid 19 test was done. Immigration does not check for the covid 19 insurance at any time.
  18. Your existing insurance would have to include covid 19 in its coverage to use if for entry. It is $50,000 at this time and then $20,000 of coverage on March 1st and it will only need to be valid for 30 days from the day you enter the country.

  20. It is on the embassy in London website but is out of date. Just ignore the the September of 2021 date since it has been extended to 2022. https://london.thaiembassy.org/en/publicservice/special-tourist-visa-stv?page=5d6636cd15e39c3bd00072dd&menu=5f4b6eb3f6ae4b236972c562 You can also find it on the e visa website. https://thaievisa.go.th/
  21. Yes you can if you can find a connecting flight that allows you in transit in clear and clear immigration in Phuket. Bangkok Airways has flights that depart from Bangkok that meet the requirements if you can arrange it. I think it may easier and less costly to do the one night test and go in Bangkok and then fly domestic to Bangkok.
