  1. I don't think you will be able to apply for the e visa in Germany. I found this on the Berlin embassy website. (Google translate from German) Source: http://german.thaiembassy.de/allgemeine-informationen
  2. That is not possible at this time. The land border crossings are closed.
  3. The would depend upon the office where he is applying. Some still start the 30 days from the day the application is done.
  4. You can do it now since you are within the 30 days window that most offices use.
  5. That does complicate things. Not sure but proof you own the property might help.
  6. There is a notice on the Thailand Pass site about some scam emails. Best to just ignore and report it as spam.
  7. It might be accepted if you can show a lease for the rental to prove the source of you income. Probably best to have it translated to Thai so it will be easier to understand what it is for.
  8. Did you try changing the captcha by clicking this in the space for entering it. I have found that if you leave the login page open for a while you will have problems and doing a refresh fixes it.
  9. This popup for Muang Thong Thani that comes up when opening the Immigration Division 1 website does show the APEC card for extensions at Counter K. He may be able to apply for a 60 day covid 19 extension. Source: https://bangkok.immigration.go.th/en/home_en/
  10. Apparently it will not be needed if you bank book has been regularly updated for the past year at Chaeng Wattana. Other offices may want a 12 month bank statement even if it has been updated.
  11. A visa on arrival is only for 15 days and they were not issued after applying for them and paying the 2000 baht fee for it from March or April of 2020 until October of 2021. Visa exempt entries were stopped in April or March of 2020 until late that year.
  12. As far as I know they have never sent you old passport to the states. The send the application to the national passport center electroncil and the the new one is sent to the embassy. When applied for my new passport in 2013 the gave me back my passport and when I returned to pick up my new passport they punched hole in it and stamped as cancelled. You can have the stamp transferred at any time you want to if you do not mind having to use both passports to do something or asked for it. Never heard of an office wanting the stamp transfer done within 7 days.
  13. Upon what basis was your non-o visa issued for (marriage, retirement and etc). What type of extension were you trying to apply for. A non-o visa can be only be extended for one year unless married to or the Parent of a Thai which would allow one 60 day extension to visit them.
  14. You will need a letter from Bangkok Bank confirming your account and balance in it one the day the letter is written. Copies of your bank book main page and the pages showing the 800k baht has been the bank for 2 months or more. Copies of your passport photo page, visa, entry stamp and TM 6 arrival card. You will need a completed TM7 extension application form. The can ask for more and it varies from office to office. Not sure what additional documents might require. Some office want a map to your your house from the nearest main road or intersection.
  15. Copies of you wife's passport are not required. Only copies of her ID card and house book registry is needed.
  16. I am not sure if they will or not. This seems to indicate it it was sent from the UK "Ordering Institution: HBUKGB4B HSBC BANK PLC". Maybe try to contacting HSBC to get a confirmation that means it was sent from the UK.
  17. The info on the immigration website is only the basic requirements and what they have on the has been out of date for 3 years. For example the 800k baht only has to be in the bank for 2 months. Plus 3 months after the day you apply and then at least 400k baht for the rest of the year. You will still need what you mentioned. What is needed varies from office to office. Where will you be applying.
  18. You do not need the Covid-19 insurance to enter the country or to apply for a Thailand Pass. You only need proof of your social security coverage. You can find lots info on the Thailand Pass website.
  19. You both can enter visa exempt no need to apply for a visa. Just buy a onward ticket for both of you within 30 days to show the airline if asked for it. See: https://onwardticket.com/ Not sure why think being your sons "sponsor" would effect anything since you are their father.
  20. Does you child have a Thai birth certificate issued by Amphoe or the embassy in London and a Thai passport? They do not need anything but their passport and be on a Thailand Pass. If no Thai passport you could them a emergency travel document from the embassy. A visa exempt entry does not need anything to be done on the e visa site. All the that is needed is a Thailand Pass. Website for it is here. https://tp.consular.go.th/
  21. Because of the covid 19 restrictions. For the better part of 2020 visa exempt entries were not allowed.,
  22. You can enter visa exempt and then apply for the 30 day extension. Be aware that the airline can ask to see a ticket out of the country within 30 days of arrival. A one way ticket to anywhere can be used or a temporary onward ticket you can find by doing a search.
  23. I assume you are on a extension of stay based upon being the parent of a Thai. You would only need 30 days of insurance (a guardian visa does not exist). If your daughter is Thai and enters on a Thai passport she does not need the covid 19 insurance since can be treated at a government hospital.
  24. Look at the top of page 1 of the this forum and you will see a pinned topic about the new online reporting site.
