Visas on arrival are still not allowed. A visa exempt entry and a tourist visa have been allowed since late last year. In most cases all other types of visas and re-entry permit have been allowed for about a year now.

All that is needed is your passport and a completed TM47 form. No need for any copies. No photos needed.

It is still possible but at this time but not as easy as before when it was easy to just leave and re-enter the country to get a new one year entry before it expires.

Since many offices will say you do not qualify for a extension of stay since your child is over the age of 20. That is not correct IMO. You best option is to apply for a non-o visa and extension of stay at immigration. You can apply for a 90 day non-o visa at immigration and then apply for the one year extension based upon retirement with a visa exempt entry. If you have had the 800k baht in a Thai bank for a long time they will waive the requirement for proof it came from abroad.

My passport photo page and the extensions stamp were shown on the upload page within a frame. I created a JPG file and pasted in copies of them on it and then saveed it.

My visa was not transferred. There is only a annotation stating it was a non-o, where issued and the date. The stamps you posted are not visa a. Just stamp showing your entry to the country. I suspect your non-ed visa expired long ago and you are now on a extension of stay based upon attending school. If your extension is canceled you have apply for another extension on the day it is The done. The new extension will start from that day. If you were able to get letter from the school stating you are no longer attending classes on the day your extension expires expires you could apply for new one on that day. I some cases you can go to immigration early and they will post date the cancelation to the date on the letter and do your new extension on that day and it would start on that day.

I thought you might of been told by your embassy to do it at Chaeng Wattana. Many of their websites only mention CW. You could change your address to the local office to do it. There is no big hurry to do it. You could do it the next time you have to go to Chaeng Wattana.

I have been using the direct deposit via New York since 2012.
