Agoda is not good for booking Thailand hotels - call hotels direct and book. The price shown on Agoda is not the checkout price - they add VAT (7%) + 10% booking fee just as you hit the checkout button. -

Try doing it at peak hour and not at night and you will get the same issues as the OP...you are obviously not a Thailand regular. Taxi drivers are notoriuos for refusing rides to busy traffic areas during the day! OP - will never change, I avoid them like the plague - I have found Bolt MB taxis the way to go.

A lot of guys living in Thailand prefer Filipina girlfriends over Thai girls. I am one of them. I know quite a few guys living here in retirement who bring in their girlfriends from the Philippines to live here with them. He still comes out way ahead in costs with his Philippine investment! <removed>

I can confirm - I arrived last night from Netherlands and I was not asked for any vaccination certificate or any PCR Test Result - I can't remember the Emirates booking online, may have asked for my vaccination status - I fully vaccinated...no PCR required at Bangkok Ariport last night.
