Could you be specific woodsplinter-- "I will be arriving in Thailand on a 30 day tourist visa".... So you have a 30 day Visa? --or you are arriving with no Visa at all. As someone pointed out , it makes a difference to some Airlines if you are just traveling 1 way with no Visa to enter. Because if they (Thailand) didn't let you enter..(very unusual) The Airline would be responsible for you and your many bags.

Some of the prices that get quoted on here ---seem a little OTT. If its just a standard clean, I do it myself, but if its (what I call ) a deep clean, using the vacuum machine and checking gas level etc , then I have to pay 400--500 baht. I know things in Issan are a lot cheaper, but 3,000 baht to clean your air con. Come on--that's just mad.

My wife did the same--she was taking driving lessons in Pattaya about 15 years ago. Panicked stamped on the accelerator when a high set tourist bus pulled out in front of her, nearly went under it, what a mess. She was really shaken up when she got home. I got a phone call the next day--asking if I would pay for all the damages. I said your a driving school, dont you have insurance? she said they did but the company manager would prefer it if I paid instead. I had to seek medical help on the 3rd day to try to stop the giggling..............
