  1. Just one question: Are any airliner at all not accepting unvaccinated passengers, but with a fresh negative PCR test? Not of my knowledge. I see it's mentioned here several times. I guess you can still fly without being vaccinated, but several destinations on the other hand, require it.
  2. So the "mystery" is solved? I'll be darned. Someone has not been doing his/her homework... And here we were, stacking up so many theories...
  3. The omicron cases have a huge spike in the whole world, and this guy predicts more cases in Thailand in January.. Have they hired Albert Einstein himself in that position?
  4. So why bring a gun and break into the premises? And then fire the gun? Just to say hello to the lady? Either way, very well done by the Swiss. I would do the same every day of the week. If he is convicted, it's a big freakin joke.
  5. Been there, done that. Twice. I had 13 months overstay, got banned for 3 years last time. Paid the maximum fine at the airport, with no questions asked. I have read all posts I can find about overstaying. Never ever have I heard of anyone forced to pay OVER the maximum fine. Max. fine is there for a reason. Still don't believe any of this, it just can't be. 30.000 baht or so more than the fine too, it's simply not possible at an international airport like Suvarnabhumi.
  6. Someone has told you a lie. This is just not true. Maximum fine is 20.000. No exceptions. Immigration officers at airports don't do "tea money" over the maximum fine. You should check your source. Also, when you clearly don't know the rules, you should refrain from answering a serious question.
  7. It's not that hard. Just don't leave the country. Lay low, draw no attention and hope to avoid those random checks. You can last years that way. Its not the first time I've heard about 10+ years of overstay. The words are that they start out with just a limited time of overstay, for numerous reasons. Then the time flies, they get away with it, and they think it is just too late to fix in a sivil way. They might be a bit embarrassed too, choosing not to think about it, and just hope for the best. The moral side of it, well that's another thing.
