There is no legitimate reason why she or her brother should ever be allowed back in Thailand.
They are both Thai citizens so there isn't, and never had been, anything stopping then from coming back.

Come Christmas I wonder how much respect for the religious aspect of the celebration of the birth of Christ there will be in all the shops and supermarkets in Thailand that cash in at that time of year.
Before anyone mentions it, I know that's also often the case in the west and other supposedly Christian countries. The point is these are complaints from people who for the most part are only interested in their religion and couldn't care less about anyone else's. It's the same with the expected respect for the Thai national flag but not any other flag.
For the record, I'm not religious so it doesn't worry me too much, although I would never show such disrespect. I'm also British and if you want to have my flag printed on you shorts, underwear, bra or doormat, go ahead. I'm fine with that, just don't be hypocritical.

Thai's couldn't run a far kin BBQ ..... let alone an airline ...
it has never made a profit and never will.
idiots.
Doesn't it say they had to make a profit as part of the terms of the rehabilitation plan. Whether they can continue to do that when there less pressure on them is another matter.
It looks to me as if they are all Thai which seems odd. If you look at other airlines they seem to cast their net a little wider.

Ya don't say? Have ya ever thought that the officials being bribed might get their bribers the necessary visas for a price?
Why not pay foreign nationals to pose as tourist guides and then sack and jail any police officer asking for or accepting a bribe? Should deal with a few of them.

The requirement is 3 days or less. You can do it one minute before checking in for your flight if you want.
The headline seems to be wrong in that case. I have seen articles on other sites suggesting that it needs to be filled in 3 days before arrival. Hopefully that's incorrect and it's 3 days or less, as you say.
I only just returned from the UK yesterday and I won't have to enter again until the beginning of September so hopefully it should all be working fine by then.
I wonder what terrible things have occurred between the dropping of the paper TM6 and the starting of this new scheme? Are we in great danger due to this lack of oversight?

Don't forget it was this lot who created the 90 day online report, took em what? 3-4 years to perfect? --- Sort of!
The last time I tried needed to do the online 90 day report it didn't work and those at immigration didn't think it was a temporary glitch. There were a lot of reports online that it didn't work.
I also notice that you'll need to have filled this in for arrivals from 1st May so that's from 28th April. It's now 20th April as I write this, is the app working now, has it been trialled, or will it be ready sometime in the middle of May? There often seems a lack of preparation with these ideas.

The problem is the global benchmarks are probably achieved by having a properly functioning police force, and a real driving test conducted around moving traffic rather than stationary cones.
Will they be up to tackling this?

I hope so.

I'm sorry I missed it. I flew in late on the 16th and I haven't seen a single water tosser here in Chinatown or around Asoke where I met an old friend for lunch.
I've only just flown in myself, and I'm still at Suvarnabhumi waiting for my flight up to Khon Kaen and then a taxi home, so I've definitely missed it as well. Mind you I'm sure there are still plenty of tossers around, you just need to add water.

The whole of Rawai only Starbucks sell it, none of the local coffee shops do it, WeCafe at their main branch sell it, they do all their own roasting I'm not sure if they sell it their other branches,
Now we have a few Starbucks on the island I can go there,
Maybe the price has something to do with it, quite a lot more expensive,
I thought, maybe Thais don't drink Decaf? I asked my wife, and her first reaction was confusion, so I explained what it was and she said no they don't. So that might be the reason. I'm in the UK until Sunday, but when I'm back and in a supermarket I'll see if it's available there as I'm not sure if I've seen it.
I would have thought in tourist areas it should be easier to find. I seem to remember you are in Phucket, although I might be wrong.

Only Decaf for me these days, I go out to Starbucks 3 times a week that is about the best so far, Amazon dont do Decaf or 7/11, I would have thought the amount of coffee they sell daily they would have Decaf, maybe it's to expensive for them to buy, not many people want it,
I don't usually drink decaf but I'm surprised it isn't easier to get.

So, the seats depend on the fit-out, not the manufacturer— yet somehow the A350 wins?
Well on the ones I've flown, yes. The dreamliners have mainly been Gulf Air but other airlines as well for both planes. I'm not that tall so seat pitch isn't so relevant for me, the width is more important. That's been about the same an most of them. Pressurisation is different I think, and also the the A350 is quieter. Another factor is the age of the fit out.

I personally found the seats on Dreamliners very narrow with unsufficient leg room.
I fly a lot on Gulf Air which uses Dreamliners. They are fine, although I think the A350 is better. The seats in any plane is dependent on how they fit it out rather than the aircraft manufacturer.

Whilst not wanting to dismiss this as nonsense, it was posted on April 1st. That's the problem, it's difficult to know what's true on that day.
Some posts seem to back this up so maybe it is true.

It's a real syndrome, PEDZ, Post Earthquake Dizziness Syndrome. It gained recognition after Japan's large earthquake in 2011. For many, your first significant earthquake can be quite traumatic. This is Bangkok's first significant earthquake in living memory so not surprising some people are a bit 'shaken'.
The problem here is how it's treated. My wife and her sister have had mild dizzy spells since the earthquake. We live on the top floor of a 20 story a condo and had a pretty wild ride. Just to relieve her worry, i took her to the hospital on Monday. After seeing two very young doctors, she walked away with several medications including a benzodiazepine and Amitriptyline used for long term major depressive disorders. These can mess with any normal mind and lead to long term dependence. Amitriptyline is a dangerous drug and should never used for normal issues like this.
Maybe a good idea to request an older doctor.
I would have thought this was as likely, if not more so with older doctors who have been prescribing these for a long time and haven't caught up with the problems.

I agree, but this will cause so many problems since I suspect many travellers (new and returning ones) will not know about this QR code until check-in. Then they will be like "Can I do it now quickly please?" "No, sorry, you were supposed to do it 3 days ago" totally FUBAR.
I only know about this because I read it here. Maybe airlines will notify travellers to Thailand to avoid problems.

I heard about the MP vaping in Parliament, but I didn't here what was done about it. Were there severe penalties, or was it a misunderstanding?
I can see they want to avoid children taking up vaping but it does seem strange that normal smoking is ok.

They really didn't change anything, they just closed a loophole, as it applies to remittances.
True, but they don't seen to have planned for closing the loophole. If they had there wouldn't be all this confusion and wildly different rules depending on where you live.
A couple of weeks ago I read the UK Thai double taxation treaty. I can't remanded if it made complete sense though. I seem to remember it cleared up some issues but not regarding state pension s.

Didn't Thaksin pay his own hospital expenses? Probably to avoid problems around misuse of public funds. That doesn't alter the fact that his hospital stay w very suspicious.
