  1. If you can't find it in a shop, you can get it on Lazada.
  2. It's pretty much everywhere. Kickass, 1337x, TPB, Lime etc.
  3. I don't bother with him anymore, it's pointless. He once said that Immigration is going to send the movements of every person in and out Australia to the ATO.
  4. Fear Couple Martyn and Rebecca relocate with kids from London to Glasgow. Neighbour Jan's unsettling remarks hint at a sinister situation unfolding around their new home.
  5. If it's only a "couple of calls a year", couldn't you just use your Thai provider?
  6. This short 30 minute doco was nominated for an Oscar. John Henry Ramirez is convicted of murder and sentenced to death in the state of Texas. During his incarceration, Ramirez tries to reach out to his victim's son while also preparing to say goodbye to his family.
  7. Yep I thought it was a cracker. Others thought it was terrible.
  8. What a stupid thing to say. Sounds like you've had too many head knocks TBH.
  9. In Pattaya maybe. The ones I used to see in Bangkok looked around 18 years old.
  10. TBF, a lot of this type of thing used to happen in Australia. They had thugs on the doors who just used to smash the crap out of people. The government finally acted and now you have to do an accredited course and get a security licence to become a doorman.. It weeded a lot of the boofheads out. That's never going to happen in Thailand I don't think.
  11. The trouble is, they aren't properly trained security guards.
  12. Are you sure? 1 Baht per minute sounds awfully cheap. I think AIS is about 6 Baht.
  13. I'm pretty sure there's no extra storage space for a dead body. Even if there was, imagine the rigmarol of moving it. The policy seems to be putting them into a seat, hopefully one that has a spare next to it and draping a blanket over them.
  14. Graveyard is a dark basement, where a special unit works to solve unsolved murders of women. Commissioner Önem, will have to fight masculine prejudices that support male violence.
  15. Looking forward to this one. Release date 30 March. For gargamon, I haven't watched it because it hasn't been released........ Hardy is set to play Harry Da Souza, a fixer for the Harrigan crime family, headed by Mirren as Maeve Harrigan and Brosnan as Conrad Harrigan, who are vying for power in a "global crime syndicate." The show has been described as a globe-trotting drama that tackles the criminal underworld, but MobLand was originally envisioned as a spin-off to Liev Schreiber's Ray Donovan.
  16. Shipping the house and wife back to Australia would be somewhat costly I would've thought.
  17. Strike is excellent. Series 6 dropped late last year.
  18. There's a decent chance you would get put in for a baggage check coming from Thailand. I'd declare them but not worry about a medical certificate.
  19. He's already extended it. Either way, it's nothing to do with the embassy. "He even obtained a new passport during his prolonged stay, potentially evading detection."
  20. The shop has pretty good seller ratings. If you can't find one in a shop, might as well take the plunge and get it. You can always return it.
  21. Not harsh at all IMO. The prick could've killed you.
  22. The Southport Attack: Panorama This was both heartbreaking and infuriating. Last month, Axel Rudakubana was sentenced to at least 52 years in prison for the murder of three young girls – Alice da Silva Aguiar, Bebe King and Elsie Dot Stancombe – at a Taylor Swift-themed dance class in Southport. It’s a story that horrified a nation, but more answers are needed. Panorama’s Judith Moritz speaks with survivors and investigates how the authorities missed so many warning signs about the teenage attacker.
  23. If you haven't already, you should have a read of this. Some stuff is quite old but a lot of it is still relevant. If your girlfriend gets a visitor visa, in all likelihood it will have condition 8503 (No Further Stay) attached which means she won't be able to apply for a spouse visa whilst in Australia IMO, you should at least get your girlfriend to visit Australia, preferably several times before you even start to think about getting a spouse visa. The main issue Immigration will be looking for is a reason for your girlfriend to return back to Thailand. Having stable employment will help. The paperwork for a visitor visa is pretty straightforward so I guess it's up to you if you want to engage one or not. Best to read the thread I posted and the Immigration website. Then is you have any questions, come back and ask.
