I am living in Thailand now and am looking for a small apartement to buy where I can live in.

I am planning to open a company also and probably a shop with a niche business that is needed by many locals.

For that I just need a place to sleep and relax, because the shop would be my main place where I will stay or have an eye on. Already found some apartements that would be ok, but I don´t want to spend the whole money on it right away, because I have to be flexible through the company and business I am planning to open. There has to be some cash flow so that I dont have to close it right after opening it.

Is there a way to get some money lended? Some of the apartements are offered also by the pre-owner or lets say current owner. I am currently living in a house for rent and don´t really use the available space. it is also a bit too much to take care of. and for that it is just money thrown out of the window.

I mean when business is good I could also look for something bigger or better if needed but from now on I just need a place to sleep.

actually i would be more willing to push available funds into the company than spending for a better estate afterwards...

i went to the pattaya mmigration in jomtien.

very rude people these immigration officers. they just were kind to farangs who came with their beer bar girlfriends. they treated the farang and the bar girl way better then farangs who came alone, if well dressed or not.

they jut gave me a 7 days extension. outside all said i can get 30 days but they just gave me a week.

what i was wondering is, what exactly happens when you get deported? are you still able to come back after a day or will your re-entry not passed?

i mean a deportation is not a nice thing when staying in prison for a coupe of hours, but if you have to be deported andjust buy a ticket and get out and after a day can get back i dont see a big thing.

still a very unpleasant experience. i think when the immigration officers were more friendly it wouldnt be so unpleasant. its been just 3 days and the day my visa expired was the day i had to go to the hospital. showed the doctors notice. they still treated me like shit. and i was good dressed.

i am in trouble. I have a Non Immigrant O visa with multiple entry permission.

i was thinking that my visa expires on the 16th of november, but it did already expire on the 13th of November.

I was plannin to go to the cambodian border tomorrow morning, but now I see that I will have an overstay of 3 days when arriving there.

I went to the hospital on the 13th, because I had an accident and have problems with my right wrist. THe doctor said not to move my hand to much. Therefore I can´t drive anyway and let somebody drive me tomorrow. probably I have to tell the immigration officer this scenario at the border

I don´t know what to do now.

I read that I can pay the overstay fee of Bht 500,- for each day directly at the border and not getting in contact with the police on my way to the border.

But is it possible to pay the overstay fee before going to the border to prevent any problems? I am located in Pattaya.

Is there anything like that where I can do that locally and after paying going to the border or is the only way to go to the border?

Hope you can help me out. I am a bit nervous. It is my first time that I overstayed.

Yes I am in Pattaya too, and would agree that it would be very difficult to get that deal, and if you were getting a new bike with no old bike as deposit, you would have to get a Thai guarantor.

I am in Rayong (so not so far away) and bought at the main Honda dealer here. PM me if you want full details.

I think? the deal would be available to other Farangs now, but Im pretty sure if I introduced a client they would be sure of that deal. I am now on first name terms and get on very well with them. (I say that sincerely in the means to helping someone....(I dont get a cut or any other renumeration/kickback etc) But I guess it would help in my standings there sure.

So far I couldnt fault their service. I get oil changes etc about every 3 weeks so Im a regular client. (I do a high milage)

I could have paid cash but I enjoyed the game of negotiation. I walked away when they wouldnt agree with my terms. (Interest free) Next day had a phone call to say ok they would do for me.

Thet tried then telling me that I needed to pay VAT on the monthly payments....I thought it was a way to get the interest money but no..they genuinely thought I needed to pay VAT on the monthly payments!! Thats after paying the VAT included in the total sales price. I refused and finaly they saw the error of their ways. I wonder how many others pay the VAT on their payments?

I want to by a new or second hand motorbike from a dealer in my area.

i want to make monthly payments with probably a downpayment. my question here is now if there is a way to get the payment plan on my name.

i read that there could be a way, but just if the dealer is willing to do it. mostly they dont care and just want a thai to sign.

if there is really no chance or if it is not easy i would like to know if a friend, who is thai, can make the payment plan with the dealer, but the motorbike is registered on me/my name.

i want to be safe that after half of the payment or when the payment is done, that the thai takes the motorbike from me and i have no possibility to get it back, because the motorbike is not registered on me and the payment plan was on his/her name also.

If the idea is simply to find out if a woman is pregant, a few hundred baht at any hospital or clinic for a urine test, somewhat more for a blood test.

You can also buy home pregnancy test kits at Boots and other pharmacies. The inserts should tell you at what number of weeks the test is reliable ad the percentage of false negative results; false positive highly unlikely.

If the pregnancy is going to be continued, then you are looking at pre-natal care. for which most hospitals offer packages, often inclusive of delivery. Ultrasound at intervals would be pary of package. Rates vary greatly by hospital.

If the pregnancy is going to be terminated, ultrasound not necessary unless physical examination indicates that the pregnancy might be >2months along at which point it becomes important to accurately assess gestation.

The problem is, that she made those anti baby injections, that last about 3 months. so a urine test can be false. if a blood test would be also not correct because of that injection..i don´t know.

because one injections was not working any more and after getting a new injection there was an unsafe time of about one month...and she has the typical starting symptomes. but maybe it comes from hanging around in the apartment all the day. i hope so

heard taht some clinics often say somebody is not pregnant and send her home and after a a while they find out by themself by seeing their stomach getting bigger and bigger....

i got an offer of a dealer that is selling lots of new and second hand motorcycles. for second hand ones he is offering just THB 3000,- downpayment and a monthly payment of about THB 1.200. i forgot the length of the agreement. But probably it´ll be about two years to get good money out of the deal for him.

That doesn´t really matter. due to my high expenses through moving here i don´t want to spend any more money at once . so about THB 1.200 for two years and the option to pay it of full whenever I want, is pretty ok with me.

The only thing is, if I can get it done on my name. I got a girlfriend for a long time already, but I am very careful in having anything on her name. Especially in this time, when we are starting to have a lot of fights and it seems that the relationship won´t hold much long.

I don´t want to give my semen to a clinic or hospital that might sell it to a woman or a couple, that can´t get any children, without my permission.

I got my Non O Multi Visa, as reported in this forum and I am in Thailand for 88 days already.

So in 2 days I have to leave Thailand and I think to remember that I read in another thread the possibility for Non O Visa holders to to make a short border run and stay in Cambodia for a couple of minutes and get through the border again with a new 90 day stamp.

Other people without a Visa with their regular tourist stamps won´t have the oportunity running to cambodia. But am I right to get new 90 days with this Visa or not?
