  1. I agree that the use of ASS is stupid. There is too much Americanisation of the English language, it should be spelt ARSE! :D

    or make it Italian

my last yacht was a 2000 Italian Azimut. Short for Azimut is AZ.

    Name of yacht, MY AZ

Cool boats! A more precise mis-interp-translation of AZIMUT for your boat name should be MY DOG'S AZ!! Though your name for it is much more Zen! :D

Just to clear up; the ASS fixation is from Sachs not Tiger. The 'Stuntass' is a bike photochopped by me about 9 months ago. mbox at the Tiger Sachs Club gave it the name 'Stuntass', a bit of a joke name for the 'project'. He did bring the pics to the attention of the Tiger factory, so we have been hoping they might produce something like it. Whether it becomes reality is anyone's guess.

Looks alot like KTM 125 .. not a bad bike for inspiration though..

  2. Ok, dont buy it from Faddy.

You can buy a Keihin PE28mm for a NSR 150 in a honda shop or any bikeshop i guess ( beware of copies/fake

    1000THB ) .. think they cost under 2.000 baht.

Pipe/Filter first, then the carb ( If you buy a new carb u need a new throttle too ).

i noticed a big difference when i changed carb.

  3. Yes, i understand that but thaiepay actually offers both currencies being used the same time...so if he really wants to get into selling things here he better add thb as well. The company is located in Thailand and i am sure a fair part of his clients could be within thailand too...and since Thailand uses THB as currency he should really consider this to be arranged.

Shipping 3 weeks??? wow that is really slow .....do you know when they started with the business?

    Tiger/Sachs Club - Mbox

I paid in THB, I just emailed him and told him i want to pay in THB and he arranged it... but yeah, i agree with you.

From an email a few months ago,

The other problem is we are mainly a wholesale exporter with many clients that wish us to stay a little quite. We arent even technically supossed to sell back in to Thailand to protect the racing guys. The accessories no one cares about though but they are on any street corner anyway. Its a delicate balancing act i asure you. One major thing we have caught people doing on other forums is competitors sign up and bad mouth things which is really bad.

We did lose a 300 race head deal per month in the US thanks to one kid that said he bought the head from us but we never sold it so this is where we have to question the validity of having our own because then it is like we endorse all the chit chat

I guess they are'nt suppose to sell in Thai. I have no clue when they started, first time i saw them was 1 year ago.. so thats all i know.

  4. 1. DBS Exhaust ( easy mod, beware of loud sound and police )

    2. K&N airfilter (easy mod )

    3. Keihin PE28 Carb ( you loose the fuel economy but gain power, I noticed a big difference when i changed carb in power and thirst. Dont remember the jet sizes i used though )

The CDI is nice too, but if you aint sure how high you rev there will be a risk of blowing your piston, 13.500RPM should be ok though with the stock piston.

U probably need to turn the A/F screw some or even rejet when you are doing the mods mentioned.

  5. Very Interesting page, but why do they price in USD? Thaiepay online payment gateway( which is used by akunar.com) does allow payments in THB the use of USD had to be set on akunar.com's wish.

Maybe they read this and can change it to THB payments.

    happy trails,

    Tiger/Sachs Club - Mbox

I asked him this before, he told me that alot of his customers are not in Thailand.

Beware though, the shipping time can be long, took 3 weeks before my parts arrived.

  6. Hi Phobic. Let me tell yopu about a very unfruitful day yesterday. Visited all the Honda shops on Phuket to be told it is either a very small problem, no they don't have stock, can only use the same exhaust that the bike came out withor no they don't supply exhausts for CBR 150, or no they do not have a waranty. The waranty only applies to the engine, nothing else. What a load of sh one t. hel_l it could be worse, I could be looking for the new CBR 150 FI model, which BTW nobody can tell me when it is ariving in Phuket, let alone Thailand, but I did see a yellow CBR in Trang recently on my trip to Hat Yai? Guess I just get lost in the conversations and translations.Do you know if that chrome bit is just a cover which can be removed or is it an integral part of the muffler ? Thank you for your answers?

Well that sounds like a normal day trying to get service from Honda dealers ( at least from my experience ). You might try to get ahold of the part number of the exhaust can and just go into parts shop ( can be a somchai shop ) and tell them you want to order this part from honda and you have the part number. Chances are big that you might end up paying a few hundred extra baht but at least you get what you wanted.

I guess they bend the rules to their favor in the warranty case, I didnt have any problems with that though. That yellow one is a older color theme on the CBR. You can probably remove the chrome thing on the can but you need to get something ( dont have any better explaination..) to hold it together with the footpeg.

  7. ...

Now why can we not get this technology down to scooters? Because this technology cost money, the scooter buyer is not willing to spend these money to buy the product so you get an inferior product which burns more fuel. It is the typical I don't want to pay now, so you pay later...

Well everything is expensive in the early "development stages" just take a look at the computer market 10 years ago and compare to now.

You make a new product, that might be expensive a year or two, but under that time technology and better manufacture ways are made.. which will make it cheaper right? And as competition grows prices drops.. etc.

But you see, status quo is good for the big companys.. like the father of modern corruption said "Competition is a sin"

  8. I might. Or I just might wait and see if they do come out with a FI model around July, then see how those lights are, and maybe get one of them. If not, then I'll probably do the switch on lights. According to my wife, the guy guarantees that his units are twice as bright as the stock ones.
Sounds nice, you gonna go for it? Wonder how the quality is.

Ok, well if they really are twice as bright that would be very nice. 3500 isnt that much money for that extra safety.

Let us know what you do and if you buy them if they are worth the money :)

  9. Ok, went back to the very first page and started reading posts. That was about an hour and a half ago, and still can't find what I'm looking for.

Headlights on CBR are NOT that good at night, and I'd like to find something better. Tried xenon, 2 different sets, but that didn't help matters. Someone said there was a thread on here about someone who found a better or bigger bulb that works, but after 90 minutes of reading, I can't find it, and my eyes are getting blurry now. lol.

So, if anyone can tell me about a bigger, brighter, better bulb for the headlights, you'll have my enternal gratitude.

I dont know about the bulbs, but i agree the lights could have been better!

This might interest you Projector bulbs and use google translate if you cant read thai. Not sure about the improvement as i have not tried them.

  10. Keep to your own ah.. if everyone had that mindset the world wouldnt be a very pleasant place to live in!

And for these MC gangs, i can agree that the founders idea might have been different of that they represent today..

I agree most people only knows about this through news etc, but selling drugs, doing human trafficking, arms dealing and murder is not just some news scoop.. its illegal and morally wrong and people who do that kind of business should be locked up. But i guess soon that will be taken care, the terrorist watchlist is growing every day... :)

    my 2 cents.

  11. lol. Thanks, but I like the cbr. :D

I've been searching around for a carbon (or lookalike) piece that goes over the front of the gas tank as mine is quite scratched by now.

    2f3f719d35af90890d0c00fb1c0b179e.jpg

The only one on the net I could find is this one. And he doesn't seem to answer emails asking how much it is, or how I can buy it.

    http://711speedshop.com/component/page,sho...emart/Itemid,1/

I flew up to the shops by the dealer in Saphan Kwai but they only had the fake carbon sets for all the scooters. Nothing for CBRs. :)

Anybody know of where you can pick one up, I think it would look really good.

    Thanks all.

I think i have seen someone selling those at CBRclub or CBR150club , its in thai but some people there speak and write in english. Look around or ask if you can't find any ad's. :D
