Driving from soi siam to pattya tai today. I saw a few pickups in the road and some people in orange jump.suits. If this was america one would assume they were a chain gang there to clean the road. It then became apparent it was the normal pull as many bike in and write tickets. So in i go and was directed to one of at least 50 people doing the check. To my surprise the person who asked for my license was a falang. Then i looked around and saw at least another 6 falangs working with the thais doing this check. Since i had all my documents and my checker was german i was out of there in quick german fashion.
I have never seen this and curious if its the new norm?

I have to agree with ticketM. I will never order through dhl, ups or fedex to thailand. Usps, royal post and air frieght are my choices. I am not sure what customs catagory the stand is but all goods have a different % rate.

Dealing with a kawasaki dealership they will never have it transfered when money is exchanged. I can not speak for the salesman but kawa big bikes/mityon is not in the business of ripping people off. They have no less then 25 dealerships in pattaya. If i was concerned i would pay with a bank check.

I've only done 500Ks so the seals should be ok, I'll see how they go.
I've had 2 friends who have also had the forks leak, only things we can think of is bad seal design, to much oil in there or we are to fat. All offroad riding.
My guess is cheap seal design as this problem isnt going away and honda doesnt want to warranty it in pattaya.

It wouldnt surprise me if they made some other bikes here. cbr600rr i would doubt as what would be the logic?

my bike is a little lighter then yours and you know i am cheap. This is the stand i am going to buy. http://www.mocyc.com/market580683/
Thats assuming its not a copy the reviews have been good.
But may be to narrow for your bike

Thats your opinion. Knowing who the op is i am sure he knows how to use a phone and make his own decision.Dirt Shop http://www.dirtshopthailand.com/
Dirt shop only list one stand that is not at all suitable for the OP.
I like that ABBA stand, reckon I'll make me one for my SR.
I was there on friday and they have what the op needs and a lot more. It is one of the best shops in thailand with original equipment.
Yet your link was useless as they do not have listed what the OP requires.

looking at the 14 day forecast it gets up to 40plus in the afternoon. Night seems like a good idea.

Thanks all. left one has not leaked, so will do the right one today.

DUDE, I love those ventilated boots with toe sliders! where'd ya get em?Well i got this one
The main reason was price. I forget exactly but under $400 plus shipping and customs. I did read the reviews and its a quality suit. Much better suits can be gotten but i needed to realize this is something i may use 12 times a year i hope. I looked at dianese in thailand and there is no f@&kin way i will pay those prices. I am not sure the suits you see in 320sp and those shop are legit. The ones at paddock might be your best bet if your not going to import.
I need to get on the track as bira is less them 5 minutes from my casa.

seems like a disaster waiting to happen. This can only end in very badly. What seller in their right mind would sell a real tangible product for a virtual currency? It stinks of virtual fraud and Ponzi scheme. Its to complicated for me so my opinions are worthless.

Yes you can use paypal without a debit card. You can not use paypal in lieu of a debit/credit card. Look for the paypal logo when ordering online and you should be fine. One example would be if booking a room with agoda.com.
May i suggest a debit card too from thailand or your home country.

my bike should be:
- lean
- powerful and fast
- have good fuel autonomy and a good range
- be able to store 2 helmets under the seat
currently, I drive Nouvo LC elegance
if you elimate powerful and fast should have no problems with that criteria.

It makes a huge difference with bars and if you change seat height.
I agree but if buying a brand new bike one might as well chose the correct bike in the first place. Then again I suppose the thread doesn't say "new"!I'll have to sit on my bike and see how much difference 1 3/4" makes.I changed the clip-ons for aftermarket bars that are an inch higher and a fraction closer to the rider. Makes a huge difference to comfort. I'm considering height adjustable rearsets next but I can't decide if that's a 'step too far'... It's relatively inexpensive to make a supersport bike much more comfortable if that's what you want. And you get to keep the performance and handling.

Any. Ram mount dealers in bkk?
Sent from my GT-N7100 using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app
yes [email protected] really not much more then shipping from the states
-
^^good choice
-
Ram mounts are the only safe way to go. Not cheap as every part of the mount is sold separately.

In the not needed big bike catagorey. I looked for the bike i am going to get the most miles out of. Comfort and enjoyable to ride. I can sit on my bike for hours without having to stretch my legs or worry about my arms aching. Then speed, reliability and cost of up keep.

Upon looking around google it appears there is a restriction in 1st and 2nd gear couldn't be arsed to read it all though again I'd take what ap Honda tell me with a pinch of salt. The 2010 and 2011 had that restriction. It caused a terrible torque drop between 2 and 4k rpm. The 2012 and 2013 VFRs don't have this 1st and 2nd gear restriction though.seems about right they were talking about poor torque in the lower rev range......think you still need to do a dyno run to clear this up. or the poster that bought this up needs yo supply a link to where he got that info from. I was thinking of doing one anyway. I'll let you guys know how it goes.
I did my dyno last week at dirt shop for 600baht. Not sure what big wing bkk wants but big wing pattaya was 2000.
On a 900k baht bike. I would hope Brian gets at least one dyno run free
i wouldnt count on it. I didnt even get a free helmet with my bike. Thinking about they didnt even say thank you. They did say i was lucky to get it before the new tax....well i own a kawaski maybe hondas more generous.
