Far LESS than perfect, and I'll explain why...

Do NOT trust seller ratings. Many have been falsely raised. Here's how...

Companies have been formed with the single purpose of raising the seller's feedback score, with fake purchases.

Unfortunately, one of these companies has used my name and address, and I now have a large shopping bag full of dozens of small shipping envelopes from Lazada and Shopee, with junk I didn't order.

The company hires people to make hundreds of small orders for items costing less than 5-10 baht; hair bands, plant ties, cheap barrettes, pins, etc. One order might contain just two plant twist-ties or two stickers... anything that costs less than a couple of baht. The employee might make 50, 100, or 200 orders at day to the same vendor using other people's addresses as recipients. The company pays for these orders, and the product goes to someone else (like me.) Then the employee fills out the feedback forms. 50, 100, 200 feedback forms for the same vendor, giving him high marks.

Anyone want a big bag full of cheap junk?  Didn't cost me anything, but nothing I can use.

Not really sure how this is possible. The ratings are for the product not the seller although the seller gets rated..

The op os shopping for lowest price i would recommend messaging the sellers and ask if its in stock if not move on

Couple of tips Mr J ......

    1)  Don't post when drunk - The spelling / Grammar police will have a field day....

    2) Don't go into dealerships when drunk - you'll think you've heard things when you didn't .....

You cannot walk into any dealership in Thailand (or possibly the world) and buy an ADV 350 there and then, and drive it away immediatly ....  there has been a waiting list from the very second this model was launched ... "Tricky Dicky" Smith will confirm that ....

same dealer had one 2 weeks ago i could have bought

The variable speed pump is usually a normal pump with implemented speed (frequency) converter.  Whether such pump is an easy product available in Thailand? Perhaps more easier - and cheaper - would be to get a normal cheap pump and the frequency converter (suitable for the power input of the pump) to install separately.

Another question is: what advantage (beside the spent money and possibility of more headache with the converter and/or pump/converter) does such a variable speed bring to your pool? Better to use a variable pump time.

BTW, did you try to see the difference in your pool when pumped 4, 6, 8, 10 hours daily?

the advantage if i understand it correctly is they are more efficient at lower speeds saving electricity

There will be an amort schedule. It's no different from a rate adjustable mortgage anywhere else. GF has teaser rate for 4 years then increases...but everything is outlined in schedule as to portion of interest and principal each pmt.

So in theory if there are no prepayment penalties it would be advantageous to refinance every 5 years to take advantage of teaser rates?

  5. Went to the government bank inquiring about a mortgage. They gave me the flyer explaining the years 1-5 teaser rates then 6-20 year rate.

They said theres no service fees except land survey (valuation) and land office.

I asked to see a amortization schedule but couldn't get one which brings me here.

I know on car loans interest is calculated on the original loan amount year after year.  Are home loans calculated on the principal balance or some up front interest rates?
